No. To me, that's crossing a creepy line. Role play is taking on a role that's not yourself, even if said role has aspects of one's self (an inescapable byproduct of character creation).
That's one thing it's vitally important to be good at if you're going to do it. Shooting badly while aiming at a target face is one thing. Shooting badly when aiming at an animal is another.
