    Other Unpopular Opinions

I knew we shared a wavelength, but hoooo boy. Feelin' you on this. Add in internet, because we now alllll need it for work/school, and it is a necessity for life-things.

Other Do you prefer pre-made characters, or to create your own?

I will fundamentally refuse pre-made character RPs. I'm not interested in doing the heavy lifting of someone else's story without any input. It generally centers around one main character, and the rest of the roleplayers play tag-along. Not into it.

    Other How many genders?

Answer: going against the normative makes people uncomfortable AF because they have to step outside what they know. Easy to understand and easy to define categories, that are not complex, make humans happier. It takes less noodley-brain-work. IMHO: live and let live. <3 It's not going to kill...

    Other How many genders?

Gender is prescribed. Sex is biological. Different cultures have different codifiers for what men and women are / how they behave / dress / whatever. Thailand has a buttload of different gender identities, so this is not just some Western Trend thing. Intersex people are also people that exist...

Other Shit I've had happen during roleplays

Have had to slam one of my bi dudes (and my fave character to rp, ever) over the fence into gayland because writer-ladies were actually thinking they were dating him, and wouldn't take my proclamations that it was literally just a game seriously at all. Like we're talking cringe level, messaging...

    Other Ghosting

I'm going to be kind of vague, since I don't want to hurt feelings, but I hope you get the gist: I was working on something with a very close friend, and they kept steering the story in a direction that was uncomfortable / didn't make sense. When I tried to broach that subject directly...

Other "I'm new to the site but I've been RPing for..."

Gaia Online, MMOs, Discord RPs. Gaia is lame, MMOs are boring, and Discord's RP userbase seemingly both died and blew up in the past month and I don't know how to explain it...quality isn't there, response time isn't there, but everyone is joining something. :|

Other Does anybody else always wake up early?

I'm up between 4:45am - 5:45am every day. It just kinda happens. Sleep around 9:00pm, then wake at the same time each day. Your rhythm syncs up and that's the secret to good sleep: forcing your body to have a rhythm.

Other What made you smile today?

My partner got me a bar of dark chocolate. It was a sweet gesture. :)

Other What do you hate the most?

I'll give you the chocolate chip ones, if you save me the raisin cookies. <3

Other What Games Are You Good At?

I'm great with horror survival games and JRPGs. Based on my reaction time / quick judgement in various horror games, I'd probably be solid with FPS games but they're lowkey very boring :/

Other What do you hate the most?

I think it may be something people realize as they get older, I'm unsure. But wasting time--that we may not know we even have in the future--seems really crap. I don't know what tomorrow holds, and I'd rather not waste my life. :)

    Other Unpopular Opinions

Unpopular opinion: I like many anime dubs more than anime subs. DBZ for example...the Japanese voice acting is atrocious.
  14. BasiliskVeranda

Other What do you hate the most?

In terms of roleplaying? I hate the lack of effort. I am a busy human, and if I'm taking the effort to run / host a game, and / or bother making a character in the first place, I expect some quality and timeliness on the other end. I also hate exhaustive lore. As in, lore that was written for...

Other what college advice do you have, if any?

Don't stress too terribly about things, and be smart about where you spend your time, energy, money, and attention. Do research about where you want to be, career-wise, after college. Make friends and network. Networking is the single most useful skill in post-college career-land, and despite...
