Jim was weary at the end of a long day of Mycroft's droning lecture. Yes, yes, he had assured him, he knew Mycroft was only doing this for his own good, yes, Jim understood that Mycroft loved his brother and wanted the best for everyone involved.

Jim was subjected to one treatment after another, none of them cruel or frightening or painful, all of them invasive and so very, very annoying. Shots, pills, therapies. Jim tolerated them all to a point and then simply became abusive to those treating him. Mycroft took over his treatment...

Jim knew none of this, only that he prayed that Sherlock would save him from this place. Not that he was being mistreated, but Mycroft wanted to try different treatments on him in an effort - and it seemed actually quite genuine and sincere - to 'cure' and 'help' him. But Jim did not want to...

But all good things must end. At least, if not end, run into difficulties. Mycroft finally had enough, and Jim found himself abducted as he slept at Sherlock's side, and taken away in the night. Taken away to .. Sherrinford, as he'd always feared might happen. Now what could save him...
