Hey guys, not to be a buzz kill but y'all are getting off topic here. You're more than welcome to start a new thread or discuss via PMs, but I believe it's time the thread was directed back to it's original intent ^^
Just here to remind y'all to stay on topic. But just for clarification for the discord, as long as the links are provided within the offsite area (or in PMs) you're good to go. You can also post a discord link in your OOC thread but only if it's for OOC purposes.
This thread is so wholesome ;-;
@Daisie I know you're there to talk about anything and everything, and even though we may not chat often, it's comforting to know you're there.
@RandomBlobMan for all the times you've randomly appeared on my profile just to say hi. Literally. Too cute ;-...
Personally, I prefer to roleplay within the forums (pm or threads) purely because its easier for me to keep track of and I'm always checking in on site anyway.
Im the same with my emails, it would just get lost with all the trash that comes through x3 And Discord just feels too messy most of...
Yes, but as I said, I edit out a lot that I don't need. I just like to have it for partners who prefer an in depth CS. I rarely (if ever) use the full sheet. Plus the OP asked for detail, things they may not think to add.
As stated, others can start a pm with you which you can reply to. Also, the 24 hours doesn't apply anymore, once you reach your ten posts you'll be able to use the locked features. We do advise that you wait around 10-15mins to let it kick in :3
Oh no, I understood that :) I mean, I completely get where you're coming from. I myself am GMT so I tend to be behind everyone on here xD but I don't mind it so much.
I wouldn't go as far as breaking everyone into groups of timezones, I would simply state that you have a minimum requirement of however many times a week. Anyone who wants to post more can, anyone else can catch up when need be. Or set a rotation - you can only post, say, 2-3 posts after your...
Welcome to the site fren! :3
You may want to look in the Roleplay Discussion/advice section, there's lots of helpful discussions there about how to improve different aspects ^-^
Feel free to come say hi any time if you have any questions, I'll probably be lurking around the discord chat ^33^
I'd also like to point out that if you don't wish them to be public (as the character feedback is a place where people can give tips and criticisms) you can also store them within your Private Workshop :)
I think it just depends. Personally I read all OOC chat so I can keep up with what people are planning, however IC if there's posts that don't involve my own characters in any way then I tend to just skim through for the important parts. I'll probably go back and read them later (and have done)...
1) What is justice to you?
- I guess karma, maybe? When someone gets what they deserve for their deeds.
2) What is victory to you?
- When something is achieved after hard work.
3) You are a hero. A villain you were fighting has trapped in separate rooms a child, an elderly, a war veteran, a...
I don't count my intros because they're always too long (since I'm an excitable otter who gets carried away), but once the RP has settled into a nice groove I can typically give anywhere between 2-5 paragraphs, depending on what I have to work with or how creative I'm feeling.
That purely depends on how you wish to set up the RP, such as how many characters will be involved. It's really down to you and how many partners you'd like to be involved.
For instance, I can see this being a decent 1x1 where one could play a "Thin Blood" and the other could play one of the...
To be completely fair it's mostly down to interpretation, for instance, I personally think it could go in futuristic, but its down to where do you think it fits best? I tend to look at what element is the most prominent and go with that :)
