I somehow missed seeing this post yesterday. This is one of my biggest ever pet peeves aside from people trying to mandatorily ship characters. And trying to use the "Reddem with love or firendship" makes me want to scream at this point.
I completely agree with this. I like a redemption...
This was a 1x1. So yeah, me having my character exploring the building they introduced for them to go in, then their character finding the phone, calling, and that's all they did while ignoring my character LMAO. Normally someone introduces a building I would expect them to want to describe...
This does get boring fast. Though I've met a couple of people who add to the annoyance. They added characters but then expected me to take them over. Without talking to me about it first.
The one who tried to add a love interest their character had talked to my character about was so...
I love throwing stuff at my characters and developing how they overcome it.
I've done this with characters. Not so much that they can't die, just that they have much, much .much longer lifespans than the average human. And if you play a character who's back story involves major friendship...
I get this so much. Every time I feel like I find what seems to be a good partner into one of my odd ideas real life is like "NOPE!"
Seriously. I get so hyped at the idea of a new RP idea and when I find a good potential partner is nothing but mood killing distractions all over.
The only...
Me: States I don't do romance and I RP to get in the head of my own characters.
Other person: Hey, I have I have this idea for a rodeo romance story. You would play the female bronco rider named Ella, but we can discuss names. Then proceeds to actually lay out the basis for three "acts" in...
What's bad is when you have someone that will talk about her own other RPs then gets upset to know you have others that you "put before there RP".
If I have three RPs going then depending on how engaging the moments some will grab my attention for replies on some days that others.
I think the person saying "There's a carrot for every rabbit. I'm just on the other side of that river." Is just creatively saying everyone has their own interest and their own thing, but it's just not for them.
I can't handle a child main characters either. Some side NPC characters in moderation can be fun to interact with within reasonable story. But people trying to make them the whole story just make me done with the RP. Some kid that has a sudden sibling or parent feelings for a character...
In my experience when someone says they only play submissive character it's a sign to run. It means one of two things.
1. Most of the time in my experience the term tends to be used to describe someone's place in a sexual relationship. So yeah, no, read my freaking ad before you contact me...
Kid or teenagers with school mixed in settings are a big thing at the moment. Also apparently kids with a mentor type thing. Yeah, no kids as main characters is not a popular RP concept at the moment.
I have actually found that mixing fantasy and sci fi in a modern type setting is not...
Players that are the worst. Here's one. The player that responds to thongs they don't want to hear with "Hmmmmm", "I see", "Oh.", ". . . . . ", Or any other peompt for you to ask "What's wrong?" Not adding or explaining any thing else.
It's clearly bait to see if you will ask "What's...
I have actually tried to explain some things of this to people before.
All parties involved need to enjoy the plot for it to be successful. So many people have tried to get me onto plots I literally say I hate with so many round about logics of why I should like them. But in the end if I...
