Bloodtide is by far one of Ward's most notable mistakes.  And yes, AOS is a goddamn travesty.

I actually liked the Grey Knights. Before Ward. Before the Draigo and the bloodtide and all that other crap. Extra monk-y warrior monks.  And hell, I'd forgotten the Alpha's were a thing. Brilliant legion, but we'll never find out anything because advancing the timeline is heresy.
