New Simpsons is terrible. I'm a massive fan of the older stuff, especially around seasons 2-9 but there are a few stand out episodes after that mark. This clip from the great season 6 episode 'Homie the Clown' really does describe my feelings towards more recent episodes of the Simpsons pretty well.

Hi there! Sorry if I've missed out on this story but it sounds incredibly interesting. I'm a huge fan of dark and serious stories with a sense of gritty realism. I'm also a huge history fan, with pre-1000 history being a period that I'd like to explore more in my stories.
