"The Kluber System. The Crow is joining the Kilche fleet as a privateer." Lijuan answered, leaning back against the padded wall. The war was nothing new, as the two foremost races in the system had been at war off and on for the past thousand years or so. However, the conflict had been given...
"I don't know. That's up to the captain." Lijuan replied as she turned back around to face the captive. "Van Weyden isn't a cruel man. Whatever he decides will be humane, I assure you." she added. Truthfully she found the captain's outdated sense of honor among thieves to be a disguise for...
"That'll do for now." Lijuan decided, rummaging in her pocket for another syringe. She injected the unfortunate prisoner with a cocktail of muscle relaxers and mood stabilizers. Pressing the man any harder would be useless. He had told all he knew. It would likely be enough for someone willing...
“So you’ve known the man for years, but don’t know his real name. The man is disciplined, if nothing else.” Lijuan observed thoughtfully as she let out the smoke through her nose. She paced around the bed restlessly, thinking of her next question. “See, this is easier when you cooperate.” she...

Van Weyden stood stoically by the bedside of the intruder, his bright, intelligent eyes staring directly down at the captured man. He let the intruder stammer on but stepped back from the bed, turning his attention to the doctor once again. "See if you can get something cohesive out of him...
Sorry for being quiet for so long. I went on a bender this four day weekend though. I apologize. Regardless, I'm open to taking over as the new GM. I'll post tomorrow, when I get home and sober up.

I think we should stay the way we are, with companies led by lieutenants, but perhaps we could add first Sergeants. Back in the day, a lot of companies were led by junior officers.
@Heisenberg I like your journal idea for your character. I might do that if I join another RP similar to this one. It gives you a place to record your character's thoughts, in a better way than just rambling on in a post.
