As they say, hindsight is twenty-twenty. For those of us who have been at this game for a while, we have likely been in more RPs that we can count and at least one stands out as the most morally offputting. Even if it seemed at a good idea at the time, personal development and reflection may...
You're making me reach back into some repressed memories, but I recall something about the arms swinging around and attacking like snakes, which makes even less sense.
I once pitched a concept for a romance RP between two martial artists. Pretty stock standard stuff, but I didn't really get too many replies that went anywhere. One I remember vividly though because of how disturbing it was. The other person, whose name I forget, wanted to pitch their own unique...

I have a custom-struck bronze medallion with two images of Jeanne d'Arc, I had it made in France in a little shop that faces the Notre Dame de Paris cathedral. It's incredibly inspiring to hold and consider. It's nothing short of my...
That's not only possible, it's been done before several times in both the fantasy section, fandom section, and the dice section. If you want to copy the mechanics right from the game you might want to go with the fantasy or fandom section, depending on how much you're using the game...
When you want your thread to return to the top of any given thread list, so you can show people you're still interested and active, most people post "bump" in the thread so the new reply pushes it to the top of the most recent list.
Shipping is a favorite hobby for many fandom RPers, but some come up with ships that are just so odd they bear sharing. I'll also throw out odd ships I've seen that work fantastically in hindsight.
Weirdest: Someone wanted to ship a guy with his anthropomorphized pet dog
Favorite: Dexter from...
I know there aren't many of us historical writers on this site, but I like to think that there are enough of us to have a discussion about what we like.
My favorite period is the late 19th century and early 20th century, mostly because the period saw a great amount of conflict and change, and...
For all of you historical writers, I'm hosting an RP set in Restoration Era Japan. I hope it's error-free for you all.

Wow, I never thought this thread would be featured in a newsletter, thanks to everyone who's posted here. I've enjoyed reading the inaccuracies we've all had to sit through.
I love my history and my historically-set RPs, and because of that, I get really picky about my historical details. Sometimes people get things so wrong, and those wrong things are the basis of their post, and I just can't bring myself to correct them. So I'm making this thread here to gossip...
As the ghost of Seasonal Anime Past, it is my dream to play out RPs in the worlds of those twelve-episode gems that caught my attention. Unfortunately, the fandoms for those are so small and ephemeral there's almost no chance of that.
On a more realistic note, Samurai Champloo would be a hot...
Back when I first joined this site, under a different account I later deleted out of embarrassment, I had an RP partner I just clicked with. Her writing was amazing and she seemed to just eat up all of my ideas and turn them into solid gold when she posted. I, unfortunately, lost touch with her...
