  • Hey y'all! It's been a while, hasn't it? I should probably update y'all on where I've been, huh?

I've been working on a game!

That's right, you heard me! I've been working on making a turn-based RPG focused around... (drumroll please) ...SPELLCASTERS! Replacing almost every main party member with some kind of caster, this game flips typical RPG party composition on its head! On top of that, it's going to have a time mechanic that allows players to experience the world as if they were a part of it! Did you rush to the next town to ambush the bad guys? You did? Well guess what, it finally paid off! Gone are the days of the good guys always being one step behind! Worried about having to go out of your way to change the party members to fit your playstyle? With a dynamic EXP system, the game will adapt to how you play! And each party member is flexible enough to fit whatever role you desire! Want to make the healer into a heavy hitter? Go right ahead! And with alignment & reputation systems in place, your actions DO matter! What you do with your time on the continent of Zynqoin will shape major events and even the ending!

I'm not gonna spoil the plot, but just know that something big is coming!

For The Throne, coming soon! (maybe) (who knows) (it'll probably be a hot minute)

Sounds like an ambitious project. Good luck!

We've already got the demo planned out, as well as the first versions of each part of the soundtrack for it!
I'm putting my characters here for convenience!

First up is the first character I ever made, Oakleaf. Her full name is Oakleaf Clawmane, and a fact about her is that whenever she manages to find a job, she either quits or is fired within the first month. It's rough for this catgirl, and luckily she has her friends there to support her! Oakleaf was an only child, but she fully embraces her role as the "big sister" when it comes to her relationship with Cream.

Next is the dogboy, Lucky! I haven't decided on a last name for him yet, but it's fine! He prefers just to be called by his first name anyway. A fact about him is that if he was a D&D character, he'd be a barbarian! He's not too smart, but he's a strong guy. He also can't get it through his thick skull that Oakleaf has a thing for him.

Now I'll talk about the one who "owns" the house that they all live in! Melody Williams, a fruit bat vampire! Because her kind of vampire is based off of a fruit bat, she doesn't need blood to survive! Only fruit, unlike most other vampires. She's the mom friend of the group, and stops Oakleaf and Lucky from doing anything stupid. She doesn't legally own the house, but it was essentially given to her by the vampire who (accidentally) turned her, Michael. Sometimes he drops in for a visit.

Finally, my personal favorite: the catboy, Cream! His real name is Maxwell, or Max for short. He's the youngest of the group, so everyone looks out for him in their own way. Oakleaf picks on him, but will fight anyone else who tries to mess with him. Lucky encourages him the few times he decides to go to the gym, and teaches him how to defend himself. And Melody makes sure that he eats and sleeps, and just generally takes care of himself. She worries about him. Cream has a sister named Kat, who he occasionally talks to.
