Hosting a role play and saying you're bad at writing starters is kind of like posting fanfiction and saying you're bad at writing descriptions right in the description.

i am admittedly guilty of saying "i suck at introductory posts" IN my introductory posts, BUT I AGREE WITH YOU!!! i wouldn't call it "hosting" though since it's a 1 x 1.

Ah. Yeah, I only do group so I tend to think in those terms which gets awkward because most of my friends on here only do 1x1 so we always have to navigate that language barrier.

i'm used to that lmaooo, even though i haven't done a group rp in like... two years.

I prefer Group Roleplays. They don't require me to respond as often since there's more than one other person involved.

THAT'S THE THING!! i feel more pressured to respond because things usually progress at a quicker rate due to all the moving parts. in 1 x 1s i can go ia for a week or two, and generally i'll still be able to pick things up without a hitch. if that was in a group? two whole story arcs have played out by then
