Okay cool I was gonna make a comment about how I like Tim Drake but was unsure... He's my close second (not enough Jason Todd to formulate an opinion about him, unfortunately)

Dick Grayson is definitely my favorite, but maybe that's because I always loved the Nightwing side of things--the idea of him having split from the Bat to do his thing while still retaining everything you like about his Robin character. Young Justice basically helped me cement this idea in place.

Yeah, Dick, is deffo a great character being the original and the heir to the title of Batman. However, I gotta tell you that Young Justice is a lot less dark than the main timeline. So in the main timeline Dick's departure from Batman wasn't exactly great and he was a dick, especially to Jason.

That's unfortunate... Dick being a dick and all...

As much as I enjoy when DC goes dark I find that sometimes their less dark material ends up bringing the best out of some of the characters

Agreed, sometimes it's good to be a little lighthearted, especially with DC stories which turn out to be grimdark more often than not. Young Justice is a great series even with all that budget that they lost after they got cancelled on TV.

Yeah, it was shame about the cancellation, but they actually are still going! DC's streaming service plays it now (not that I catch it from there) so they actually have some more freedom with stuff which made it way cooler : D

Although they unfortunately don't give Tim Drake a lot of lines.... I mean, he looks cool... but otherwise he just stands there or peeks his head out

I see a Pirate! Well, don't worry about that I too watch most stuff through... less than legal means. I can't pay to all these different streaming services! Yeah, they have definitely ramped up the stakes in the plot, I liked how they are setting up the Red Hood plotline.

Tim Drake hasn't been handled well in animation since The Animated Series, to be honest, but even than that version was a mix of both Tim and Jason so I dunno if that even counts. I was disappointed with how passive of a character he is in Young Justice after the initial hope when he was introduced.


You know I'm actually looking for a DC RP on this site but it looks like Marvel is King here and the fandom for DC is either dead or focused on the Cinematic Universe/Arrow-verse (Dammn post limit!)

In a way, you can't help but expect how they handled him in Young Justice since Dick was always going to be followed more closely (as an original main character of the series), but I at least hoped he'd get to speak more considering his girlfriend does...

Yeah, it's a crying shame--I found someone who wanted to help me sate my Young Justice craving but then they disappeared... and I tried starting a mix of a DC/Marvel thing but never got it off the ground due to being on a hiatus thing for a few months XD

Yeah, I was pretty bummed when I saw the baby with Talia but Jason was deffo a good surprise, but since you, like Damian, it might be a good thing for you so bonus!

Yeah I expected him to play a side role but c'mon, he's Batman's protege and he and Dick are supposed to have a great dynamic, or at least that's what was shown in the comics, it's just a tad bit disappointing.

It might be, although I mostly just want to see what happens IF Damian ends up joining the Team and pushing Dick's buttons we love annoying little brother figures

If anything, they did good with the... one?... episode where he got to lead something, but then it was like, "Okay back to the other guy" which is a shame

Ah, it's alright! I was just a little bummed since it was a way to sate my Young Justice vibes, but I figured around the time we started talking, I was going to start a summer full of non-RPing cuz I was so busy XD so maybe it was for the best

Yeah, it will be fun to see YJ Dick deal with the little sociopath. The Bats are becoming less and less the main focus as the series goes on though so I dunno if we'll see much action on that front.

That is an understatement. Only characters I know anything about in Marvel are Thor, Spider-Man and Wolverine. I'm very unfamiliar with Marvel-Universe.

I don't even know that much... I barely know Spider-Man, and maybe like one other character, but let's just say I shouldn't have accepted a friend's invitation to see Infinity War ("Who's that?" "Now who's that?" "Who's that?" "What do you MEAN that's Captain America--he doesn't have his suit on!")

Agreed, Batman is the best, however, that aside I think DC-universe is much better planned out and their plots are more appealing. Marvel is a mess these days..

Also Jason already has a good cartoon, Batman: Under the Red Hood. You should deffo watch it.

I agree with you on that. The shtick I've heard is that Marvel's movies are better, but DC pulls a huge plot boost on them in comics and cartoons. (And I stick by it. I also stick by George Clooney as a great Batman, because Batman and Robin was GREAT... to watch)

I will certainly get on that--I know more about the other Robins (well, of the main 4 at least) than him and would love to see more of him

I just loved it for some reason had nothing to do with the Robin signal and I had just months before defended Robin's importance to my best friend when we were playing Lego Batman on her Xbox and I wanted to play as Robin
