Different skin color than you. We're all people. So why bother with Labels. That's why I don't like using gender pronouns. I don't like saying that a person is black or white. I don't like using the word transgender. Because I don't want to label people as anything more than people. (2/2)

We assign ‘labels’ because we like describing things in simple ways.

We created a word that means “person who has switched their gender” because that word is much easier than saying “person who has switched their gender.”

We call black people black because they are literally black.

There’s not a problem with these words. They don’t have to become a person’s identity if you don’t let them.

We all try to avoid using descriptive terms in prejudice of others, but when we get past that the fact is that they're still descriptive terms. Pretty much what Lenny said.
There are five dogs frolicking, and my friend wants me to find her black one.
There are people at a convention with crazy hair styles, I want to know the bald guy's name.
There are three people having a conversation, I'll talk to the white guy.

That’s my standpoint. If you’re not using the word in a pejorative fashion, I don’t see a problem.
