Depends. One thing I was told by my dentists is that if your gums are swallowed then brushing your teeth as you should may cause them to bleed. Meaning that it's normal but also a sign that for some time at least you didn't brush properly

it could also mean that you're developing gum disease. while it might be something else, like something that Idea mentioned, gum disease leads to tooth loss and other health issues. if you get some free time, i'd recommend that you go see your general practitioner or a doctor or someone like that. it'll take an afternoon or something to get sorted, but at the end of the day it would be worth it, don't you agree?

i mean, im an engineer not a doctor but one thing i know about engineering is that if a machine is leaking coolant or fuel or whatever, it probably means the machine has broken somewhere. blood is meant to stay in the body, so when it comes out when you do normal things like brushing teeth, its probably not a good sign.
