Why does that make you angry?

Because the underdog/main always ends up winning the fight/competition due to friendship or whatever. And in the process, they beat my favorite characters which tend to be the rival or villain. The underdog always seems to beat the person far more experienced than them even when they have not put the work in.

Hmmm... May I recommend watching the anime "overlord"?
