I'm pretty good. Still looking for full time work T3T

Nope. Honestly I'd prefer to never teach again =3= I've been applying everywhere I can

Hmm sometimes it's best to have some form of part time job while you apply in other areas

I do have a part time job, but I only have about five more weeks before I won't have a place to live anymore and I'll have to leave it and go back to Ohio TT3TT

Why?

The friend I'm staying with needs me to move out, which is totally understandable. Unfortunately I don't have enough income to live anywhere

Why does she want you out

Because I've been sleeping on her couch for nearly 8 months and she needs her space

I don't see the problem here

It was kind of her to let me stay with her in the first place, so if she needs her space back I'm not going to be offended. I just wish finding work wasn't so difficult.

Where have you been applying?

Anywhere I can, basically. It's just taking a long time to get my foot in the door

I hate to say it but if you want to make money and be able to search around I highly recommend becoming a teacher for a while, I know you don't want to but you're trying to survive, surviving doesn't offer the luxury of doing what you'd like

It's not even about doing what I'd like. I just can't put myself through that again. I was so depressed last time I was having suicidal thoughts, so no, I'm not going to ignore my mental health to get a job that, honestly, I shouldn't even have. It's no good for anyone to have people teaching that hate doing so.

What about a tutor

I guess? It depends on the subject. Tutors don't usually make much though, and it takes time to get enough students to earn a living wage. I'd rather focus my energy on getting a full time job
