I would still make an interest check thread tbh (making a thread for one idea is a thing that I have done and would do again). I mean, people make interest checks basically just saying 'I'm here and I wanna roleplay fire ideas at me' so I think you're good!

Or maybe look through a few interest checks and see if anyone has themes/pairings/plots that could work with your idea and hit them up like 'so I see you're into x, how would you feel about y'?

That's true but kind of at the same time if (for some reason??) people liked my idea, it'd be a little... Tedious having to roleplay the one same plot if that's all I really have. You know?

I don't follow. The same one plot? Like, do you want multiple roleplays? Or do you think the idea lacks the opportunity for side plots within the rp?
