I, on the other hand, sometimes wish PM roleplay posts were included in post count. I don't do threads much anymore, and sometimes I look at that number like . . . 'huh?' then I'm like 'oooh'

Which is why I don't pay much attention to it. By choosing to roleplay in PMs, I feel like I lost the opportunity to have an easy count of my content, which sucks a bit.
