That's actually really cool. Would we design characters to the abilities we choose and then have a brawl? Or would we use a random number generator to make things tougher?

Bingo. We would do exactly that. I don't think a random number generator will be needed, but I thought this up this morning so who knows. So far I think that's avoidable, and for ties a coin flip is all that's needed.
