Depends on the era and topic yet I love world building

era? Topic? What do you mean by those?

I have more interest and knowladge about certain periods of history and people that inhabited them, so I would rather work on a world similar to those periods I like in our history.

oh... Unfortunately, my idea would be to make entirely made up worlds and characters that would populate them

Every fiction is based on a truth or vice versa, could you clarify?

I don´t have a particular problem with someone wanting to say, introduce some elements of a particular aspect of life or real history into the made up world, I have a problem with trying to base that world or it´s society around a certain period of history. I don´t want to be bound by any historical period or have to be accurate about it, hence the whole point of making something else up.

To put it short, the only rules I want, are functionality rules and the rules that I (or we, if I have a partner) create myself (or ourselves).

Human nature would still be same right? (Assuming there would be humans) if so esentialy same rules would apply, petty beings clashing with each other for control.

I won´t say that´s human nature, but for the sake of this matter, yeah, there´d still be wars, struggles for power and all those things. I am very serious about consistency of the cause and effect of the worlds I make.

We can debate about human nature some time, but consistency? In which sense? That War brings famine, lowers The population, wreaks the countryside thus famime breaks out, entire towns And cities are razed to ground, families perish? And cycle repeats.

that´s one example of it, yes. Another one would be that, if there is a rule in this world that all rivers are scalding hot, then the people in it probably live in such a way that they cool the water before taking it, and they probably live in houses that are protected from heated rain.

But such a world would force people to live in mountanious regions, an exact opposite of our own civilizations that tended to settle on rivers (Or your's atleast, my cultural ancestors were nomads for most of their recorded history.)

I wouldn´t call it help, it´s not like I need assitance and more like I would prefer to do this with someone, it´d be more interesting. If it´s just a favor and you don´t think you´ll enjoy it, there is no need to force yourself
