pretty much how I feel about a CS that requires weight. I can get height, but weight? What are you even gonna do with that number?

Well weight gives a visual of the character you're playing, y'know? If you have a 300lb character versus a 150lb character, you can already see a difference between the two. Weight, not a problem for me. It's the birthdate that I find completely unimportant. Say they're twenty years old and that should be enough, the year is unnecessary.

it´s the numbers that I find are overboard. It´s enough to just know a character´s build for that. You don´t need to know who is the fatest by 3.5 grams cause it can only come up in an extremly specific plot scenario that only lasts like a couple posts.
I´d say birthday dates, in a well built scenario with history, actually can be meaningful. Was your character born prior or during the war?

Well I suppose it would make sense then, but as someone who usually just roleplays with slice-of-life scenarios, it's pretty meaningless in my opinion. Weight does annoy me as well, though, because most people, I notice, create their characters with absolutely ridiculous weights. A muscled up man who only weighs 100lbs...? Right.
