well in fairness this is about the time people start going trick or treating. so that means real life halloween fun starts about now - what with the parties, the free candy, dinner, etc.

That´s true and some people have rejected the roleplay because of that. That´s perfectly fine. But when you´re told in precision the duration and schedule of the roleplay by the hour, and did not express that you lost interest (after having signed up for it) ,one would expect that you´d be able to cram two lines or something in two hours.
