Only person I ever heard hate towards attack in titan from was myself. And that´s because I don´t want to watch a bunch of naked man running around.

Tokyo Ghoul is awesome, though. xD

Nah, I've heard hate from a bunch of people on anime sites I'm on. But the Titans aren't even that bad, they ain't got no dingle dangles so it's not like their actually naked.

the fact you´re able to tell they don´t is proof enough their naked.
Solemn Jester
Solemn Jester
Okay they're naked, but it's the equivalent of a steaming monster Barbie doll walking around.

yep. very accurate ones.

Sao gets alot of hate aswell, although that's mainly because of the second season.

I can actually understand the hate on SAO. I liked it a lot, and I think I would even if it hadn´t been like, my third anime, but if you consider the shitpile of problems... I can really understand.

Well I havent seen attack on titan or tokyo ghoul all the way through, but theyre rather "mainstream" animes. So.. popular things are fun to hate on, I guess?

As for SAO. Well.. Sao is just generally terrible in nearly every regard. xD  People like it, and thats fine, but its still pretty bad in certain areas.
Solemn Jester

The second seasons the bad part, first season was actually okay. As for being mainstream that's fine, but anime like bleach are just as mainstream and don't receive as much hate. Which tbh bleach is just terrible, at least towards the end it just goes to crap.

please don´t ignore the second part of the first season

Are you referring to the second season?

no, the second half of the first season.

Sao has some genuinely terrible plot-progression, with probably the worst pacing of any show Ive ever seen. Not to mention it outright breaks its own rules at the end of the first season.

Oh, and Bleach is pretty overrated lol. I dont like it too much.

I can understand the hate on Fairy Tail tbh. I hate it myself. It's fun to roleplay, but to actually watch... I stopped at episode 90 because of how dull it got. Every 10-20 episodes repeat the process of strong good guys are separated from main good guys, main good guys face off against incredibly strong bad guys and pull through somehow on friendship or some bullshit, strong good guys return to clean up the mess, except each cycle either has a bit more skin showing or a bit more of the characters acting like complete retards.

Like seriously, I don't understand how the hell there are people still watching 200+ episodes of that bullshit. I mean, I'm not a fan of bashing other people's shows, but I thought people would have a bit more... class? Than Fairy Tail.

As for the other popular animes, I haven't seen them, nor do I care to or plan on it. :v

@Salt Lord that's what everyone hates about it. But dbz was the same way, the reason I watch fairytail are for the same reasons I watched dbz. Because regardless of how repetitive the plot may be it still manages to pump me up. With the music, and all that jabber about never giving up, and friendship. Tbh I think it actually gets better further down the series.

Fairy Tail definitely suffers from that formulaic boring-ness. Its one reason I stopped paying attention to the series for like a year lol, and havent watched the anime at all in ages. I still largely like it, but yeah, it definitely has its issues. Especially with being extremely formulaic and predictable, with "the power of friendship" seemingly being the answer a lot. Another thing about it is it doesn't know what to do regarding death. In two chapters a couple main characters died. Only for them to somehow appear and be fine again a chapter later.

The seven year time skip messed me up man...the feels.

@Solemn Jester It does kinda have its charms... I was obsessed with Erza and her sword powers when I first watched it. But then I realized that summoning weapons out of thin air wasn't very creative in the least. Unless Fairy Tail is the parent of that whole idea. Which kinda seems logical. But whatever.

@Thalia_Neko It really needs to learn how to kill off a character or two. Like goddamn, friendship would just distract someone from the fight, not make them more focused, at least in most of the ways in which it's presented. I'd go back to watching if, say, Juvia or Elfman got killed off (and actually killed off). That'd be fun to see. But other than that, yeah. It's just flatout boring, and with all of that talk about friends and that kind of bullshit, worthy of being cringed at.

Well yah, Juvia did get killed off. Then the next chapter shes revived, even though theres no way she shouldve lived.
