I think I struggle with this. I'm more of a "by the seat of your pants" writer, but that often translates poorly to rp.

By the seat of your pants? What doe that mean?

More "acting in the present" and running with what naturally comes to mind. Sometimes, I don't like planning the whole story ahead of time. I might have some idea about the ending, but I like to try to surprise myself on how I get there.

Ah, I see. Well, a lot of people are, so I was looking for people who weren't "by the seat of your pants". I'm probably gonna get told "if you want to plan go write a book yourself", but I want the interaction with the other person in the planning and watching the plans unfold and grow as we put them to practice. I want to see people with the concept of arcs and overall story and people with the thought of implication and of setting up events ahead of time, of proper foreshadowing... I don't mean to be demeaning to the people who always do everything "in the moment" but I find it quite...suffocating.
