I met the requirement over an hour ago and still haven't gotten the ability to start conversations. Is this a known bug with the update?

You need to be a member for 24 hours as well, just wait a little longer!~ >w<

It doesn't?! Now that's weird... It should! But do trust me. It's setup that way so that spam bots cannot PM members at random when they 'invade'. That way they don't get to do much 'damage' before they're banned >w<

If the notice really doesn't say it, then it's missing crucial info!
 
Some time back I believe we dropped the 24-hour requirement, but the system can still take a bit of time to update itself and get you the proper permissions. Let us know if you're still having troubles and we'll get it fixed!.
 
Ah! That got dropped? I thought it was still a thing! woa : O

I guess that's a more recent thing then, it was a rule when I joined and it hasn't been that long ^^'

It seems I have the ability to do conversations and stuff. Thanks :D
 
I don't know what you mean by 10 posts? I know it said you can't make profile posts so do you make threads? Or post on other peoples threads? I'm confused and don't know how to make threads and I feel like i've posted ten times in other people's threads if that is what it means.

Both. You can post on other users thread or profile posts or make threads to reach that 10 post requirement. I recommend answering to profile post or thread so you won’t be considered spamming for making too many threads in short amount of time.
