Samuel was born in Crete, Greece on October 8, 1838 as the youngest child of two. They were a quartet of petty servants, the Pavlou family serving the Papandreou group for generations. Alexandru and Gaia were always appeasing their masters as best they could, teaching Emma and Samuel (Callista and Phoenix at the time) how to perform future duties and task. One day, however, the family fled to the adolescent United States of America. The husband and wife wanted to start over with their children, fear stricken by the idea of the two enduring the same hardship as they had for decades.Upon their arrival, five year old Phoenix and eight year old Callista had their names changed to Samuel and Emma. Samuel's parents believed it would help the two integrate more easily into the new world. Years passed as his mother and father worked as farmers before they had saved up enough money to open a bakery. From then on, their social status grew slowly but surely until they were comfortable enough to sustain themselves without aide. Samuel and his sister were able to finish school and even attend university, the boy studying medicine without any hesitation. During his studies, he even met the woman he'd later call his wife.
Samuel and Rose quickly hit it off. The two even married after two years of seeing each other. After graduating, they began working on their family without any hesitation and soon Baby Florence was born. A couple years of peace and harmony was all Sam could get with his new family, however, after the Civil War began. He knew he would be ordered to fight, especially with his knowledge of injuries and the like. It was a distressing thought, but he knew it was his duty for a country that accepted him.
The Battle of Shiloh, one of the earliest events, took his life before he could realize. He wasn't "dead", however. Samuel gained his senses while standing outside of his home, immediately entering to find his beloved wife and daughter. What he actually saw, however, was confusing and astonishing. Apparently years had passed and Rose had died from the grief she felt. Young Florence was adopted by his sister Emma, the woman already in her mid-thirties. Samuel then understood that he was dead.
After that, a fellow reaper informed him of his many sins and the enormous amount of souls he could collect in order to find enter the other world peacefully. He was always told that it was either take on the job of a reaper to pay his price or enter a world of damnation. Of course, he chose the former. From then on, Samuel's lived his life watching over his bloodline while ignoring his duties.
When and why did Samuel move to 660 6th Ave.?
Well, Samuel purchased the house in 1950. He was tired of living with the other Reapers because they'd constantly remind him that he needed to do his job, which is sort of conflict for him. He honestly loves pretending to be human more than collecting souls, thus explaining why he's one of the oldest Reapers to date. Call him lazy if you must.
How did Samuel hear about it?
He may or may not have been the one that guided the former owner's spirit.
What makes Samuel human?
Sam has a strong appreciation for many things, even though he may come off as a bit gloomy and overly sarcastic. He's stubborn and foolish like humans and cares more about living a "normal" life than performing his duties. One could also say he's afraid of letting go of this world, which is the case for many others in his situation.

Biography: Caroline was born to a religious family in Chicago and the eldest of her four siblings. At a young age, her witch powers were yet to manifest so her childhood was normal; Bible study once a week, church once a week, prayers before meals, etc. Her family seemed perfect in every way. The teenage years hit and her powers began to grow noticeable. Not knowing exactly what she is, she's unable to practice her craft, resulting in odd incidences occurring around her. Her parents believing she was possessed, they sought out priests and increased her religious practices. Her room began to fill up with religious artefacts and exorcism was attempted. No avail. Odd things still happened to her. With each passing day, her parents and siblings began tiptoeing around her; fearful. Eventually, after years of trying to rid of the 'demonic presence', her parents grew more spiteful towards her. During those years, Caroline strayed from religious-related activities, often sneaking out on her own to find answers to whatever was happening to her (or nighttime walks in general).
When and why did your character move to 660 6th ave.?
Caroline was kicked out once her parents had enough of her existence.
How did your character hear about it?
She just so happened to take refuge there during the night she was kicked out (it was raining hard). Under cover, she knocked on the door and begged to stay for the night.
What makes your character human?
Her childhood was one of a typical human's. She hasn't met any other witch or warlock and has little clue on how to proceed her witch practices. If it weren't for the accidental and unintentional spell casting, one would mistaken her for a human.

Selene is what you call the iron women. She is strong, confident in the way she thinks and looks. She fears nothing and nobody (at least that is what she tells everyone) which makes her look like the dauntless type. One downfall of her personality would have to be how stubborn she can be and cold. Selene has a sharp tongue, and will not hide anything that she thinks needs to be said. Selene carries herself with so much poise and grace, that it's almost as if she was a living breathing angel but she's not. Her 'demonic' personality makes her a cold, tough, and merciful person who usually dwells on the lives of others with her seductive ways. She is the bluntest person you'll meet that will say whatever comes to her mind if she needs to prove her point and thinks that she should put someone in their place. She doesn't tolerate rudeness and wouldn't do it to another person since she believes in respect. Selene has also built up a tolerance again people and pain, so she has a calm and patient side to her. When she is in combat she turns into a killing machine and will stop anyone who gets in her way.
Selene also has a soft spot for her in which she tends to not show others. She knows that with her being a succubus, there are many people out there that try to hurt her or use her and that often hurts her because she also has an attachment side to her. From the constant times, she has been hurt, she has built a wall that is taller and thicker to not let others in. She has trust issues, so it will take her time to get used to someone. Another thing about her is that everything about her, smell, appearance, her voice, and the way she carries herself, all those things draw people in. It is almost like her own personal trap that not even she can escape. Her voice only can manipulate others. They say that her voice is so calm and seductive like, that it takes people in without them even knowing.

A hybrid was considered to be a taboo creature, of a different mix of species which was forbidden at the time in the parts that she lived in. Selene's parents were madly in love and didn't care what the other creatures had to say, they married and were granted a beautiful baby girl. But the outcome was far more than they expected, they had given birth to a succubus child. During the time, in the community that Selene grew up in, had very little knowledge of succubus' and they believed that the outcome of having a succubus child be unpredictable. She was the first succubus of her village. One day, Selene's parents died that night protecting her, they thought if they gave their life for their daughter, she would be alive and that they did. She was very young at the time of their death, but Selene had known that it was the humans that killed her family when they had come to the village. Selene was taken by a family friend to a hideaway.
Later on, in the years, she grew up to become a strong, beautiful, and confident women who has a cold heart. She was the most fierce and feared women during the century and still is, she's changed a few people's lives, killed a few people here and there and played with a few hearts. Selene was left with her parent's fortunes and the family that she was with is still alive till this day and she is thankful for them. Selene moved into the house for supernaturals because she thought that she might as well try to get involved in this century and try to see things from a different perspective. But she cannot change the fact that she has killed humans before, whether it be draining their energy from them or just doing things the simple way. Long before she came to the house, Selene was blinded by revenge, anger, and sadness so, she got her vengeance on the ones who murdered her family, toying with their emotions and making them suffer the way they made her parents suffer. That night she showed no mercy and had no guilt in doing what she did. But now she is trying to change her ways, so she has hope that she can at least get to know humans before accusing them.

she is four when she attends her first party with mommy and daddy and big sister, camila, looking like a black sheep with her toothy grin and raven black hair while mommy looks like a princess and daddy is a prince. they seemed happy on the outside, to both strangers and friends alike, but on the inside the family is truly broken.rosie is seven when she learns about the magic that runs through her veins, she had experienced jealousy for the first time when her big sister performed her first spell and she couldn’t. her mother beaming with happiness for her eldest daughter while rosie struggled to conjure up the tiniest of magic. rosie was very jealous of her sister, why couldn’t she be like camila?
she is thirteen and found her first love with little billy, with his mess of brown hair and blue eyes, it’s clear that little rosie is head over heels for the boy. but billy doesn’t have the same feelings for her but instead for perfect camila, her blonde locks cascading in perfect waves and her teeth whiter than ice. rosie has had enough of perfect camila and tackles her sister to the ground with teary brown eyes, death threats leaving her mouth as adults rush over to poor little camila while rosie was dragged away by two adults.
troubled they called her. rosie was isolated by her peers and eyes were on her at all times just in case she may break again. but rosie was already broken, on the inside. camila was considered a hero, a legend in the playground after her sister tried to murder her. this only enraged rosie, all she wanted was love.
at sixteen, rosie’s parents has had enough of their youngest daughter affecting their perfect reputation. without a second thought, rosie was shipped off to live with grandmother ester in berlin until she turned eighteen. rosie couldn’t be any more happier, she was finally free.
grandmother ester welcomes her granddaughter with open arms and quickly started to teach the young girl about magic. rosie became carter, leaving her old self behind and committed herself to magic. grandma ester was strict, yet loving.
at nineteen, carter leaves her home in berlin after the passing of her grandmother. carter knew she died happy but there was still a hole in her heart. she soon moves to the states, finding an apartment online and settling in peacefully, watching as others come and past throughout the years, although she feels safe in her new home.
