Yomi Hakaguri | 18 | Female
Bravery is being the only one who knows you're afraid

  • Yomi is a small girl, only reaching 4'11 in height, and she doesn't seem to be getting any taller. She's very petite as well, with small hips and legs, as well as small breasts, which is a constant source of anxiety for her. She's quite pale, and burns incredibly easy, which is one reason she always slathers on sunscreen. Yomi has black hair that seems to shine with a purple light in the sun, and it's cut to block one side of her face, with the bottom half being kept long, almost long enough to reach the ground. She often leaves it down. Yomi has narrow golden eyes that are framed by thick black lashes, and thick lips that are usually turned down in a frown, or kept neutral, with no emotion at all. The right side of her face, which is covered by her bangs, is scarred from an accident she had as a child, and her eye is blind on that side, as well. She's learned to get around without vision in that eye just fine, however. Yomi usually wears a pink dress that is cuffed at her waist and has a pleated skirt, paired with a high collared long sleeved white sweater, and a teal colored bow tired around the neck of the sweater. She wears gray leggings under her dress, and a pair of tight black shorts, finished off with a pair of black combat boots.

Nobuo Hakaguri | 20 | Male
If you kill enough of them, they stop fighting.

  • Nobuo is a semi-tall guy, reaching 5'9 without shoes on. He's generally pale, but he tans well in the sun, and often keeps his tan for months afterwards. Nobuo has black hair that he lets get semi-long, and bright green eyes. He usually has some kind of smirk on his face, and his eyes are usually wide open, showing that he's alert and ready for anything and everything. Nobuo is slim and lanky, but elegant when he moves. He often wears a light green hoodie with a black shirt underneath, and a pair of regular jeans, finished off with his usual green Converse. He carries a backpack with him everywhere, and it's often beat up and ripped, but it seems to be holding up despite the damage. He has a thicker bottom lip than an upper one, but his upper lip isn't small. Nobuo, in general, has a rather feminine appearance, something that often makes him feel self-conscious.

Name: Kyle Tsuda
Age: 18
Sex: Male

Appearance:
TmVwp6B.png
Kyle is around average height, reaching nearly 5'8". He has slightly tan skin from being outdoors a lot, but it's still somewhat fair in complexion. Kyle has dark blue hair he likes to keep short, and sapphire eyes he got from his mother. He usually stare off into the distance, so his expression tends to me placid. Kyle's build is athletic and slim, what one might call a runner's body. His typical attire is a blue t-shirt, brown cargo shorts, grey socks, and black and grey running shoes. He is almost never seen without his raindrop necklace, a present he received for his 14th birthday. He also carries a standard purple backpack, one that isn't particularly distinctive in design. His face isn't especially remarkable, and one might say that he is neither handsome nor unappealing; a plain looking individual.

Personality:
Kyle Tsuda is the kind of guy to have his head in the clouds. At times, he is easily distracted, but is generally full of conviction. Kyle firmly believes that Pokemon are friends, not tools. He tries to bond with all his Pokemon, considering them all family. He tends to be a compassionate person, and isn't keen on hurting others. Regardless, he is quite willing to protect his friends, and try his best in battles. Kyle hates the feeling of being trapped in any way and likes wide open spaces. Unfortunately, he can be a bit shy, preferring to focus on his Pokemon over people. Because of his anti-social nature, he sometimes will only begrudgingly follow others unless he is passionate about something. While not wholly stubborn, it takes Kyle a bit of convincing to completely believe in the ideas of others. He tends to retain some doubt until entirely sure of anyone. This has led to him having no strong friendships. Kyle has a strong sense of self determination and a desire to be an individual. In direct contrast to his upbringing in a city, Kyle has always preferred nature over life in more developed areas.

Team:
Ukko (Male): Ukko is a fairly relaxed and easygoing Pokemon who likes to lay out in the sun and takes frequent naps. Despite this, he is very determined and doesn't give up in the face of strife. When Kyle found him, he didn't put up much of a fight and allowed himself to be Kyle's first Pokemon.
Spr_6x_180.png

Iblis (Male): Iblis is very friendly and likes being pet on the head by anyone who wants to. His only trigger is being pet on his stomach. Doing so may lead to being scratched. Iblis is also very curious and sometimes gets into trouble because of this. Kyle found Iblis as an egg abandoned in the wild.
Spr_7s_027.png

Medusa (Female): Medusa is a very serious Pokemon. She doesn't have time for nonsense and doesn't suffer fools lightly. In combat, she tries to put all her heart into it. She is also a bit of a vain Pokemon, and she likes to stare at her own reflection. These traits have led to her not really getting along with her team mates.
Spr_7s_114.png

Brizo (Female): Brizo is a careful individual. She prefers not to let others come too close unless she is certain they aren't a threat. She typically feels safest when held by Kyle. If anyone else were to touch her without permission, she would thrash about and try to squirm away.

If you do nothing, nothing ever changes. That's why I've got to do something!
Dante, Age 21

  • The Pokemon Rescue Sanctuary is a sprawling Pokemon reserve about a day's walk from Fortree City in the Hoenn Region. Normally, this sanctuary only accepts Pokemon, but on one occasion almost two decades ago, the sanctuary accepted its first human permanent resident.

Abandoned as an orphan on the entrance steps to the sanctuary, Dante grew up around the unique menagerie of Pokemon that passed through. From its inception, the Pokemon Rescue Sanctuary, or PRS, served as a special place where abused, neglected, or otherwise vulnerable Pokemon were taken to recover. Many of its inhabitants were victims of various gangs, or were the victims of human negligence.

Those who volunteer at the PRS are a special breed. Many of the inhabitants are distrustful, or even violent towards humans, which makes it quite difficult to work with them. Even as a child, Dante started to work with some of these Pokemon. He showed a natural knack for dealing with particularly troubled Pokemon. It was almost like he could understand them on another level. It was through this work that Dante met Sonata, a Raltz that would later evolve into Kirlia under his care; and Luca, a Riolu that had a particularly violent streak before Dante got through to her.

When Dante finally decided to leave the PRS and become a trainer, Sonata and Luca both insisted they join him. Thus, he set out upon his journey. Along the way, he met Zora the Zorua, and Gemini the Doublade. To hear their stories, just click their picture below.

Click the Pokemon for more information...

Luca the Riolu:

Like most of those who come to the Pokemon Rescue Sanctuary, Luca didn't exactly have the perfect life. Her previous trainer abandoned her after a particularly bad battle, during which she suffered a wound to her neck that scarred due to lack of treatment. When she came to the Sanctuary, she was hostile with every human that tried to come near her, such that even the volunteers had to just leave her alone in the cave she chose to occupy.

Dante, roughly fourteen at the time, heard about her predicament and immediately headed towards her cave against the protests of the rest of the volunteers. He had expected hostility, but he wasn't prepared for the full fury of it. The moment he entered the cave, she screeched and attacked him.

Even in the dim light of the cave, he saw the little reflection in the corners of her closed eyes. In that moment, he knew what he had to do.

Rather than run, he took the brunt of her Force Palm square in the chest. Even as Dante stumbled back from the hit, Luca gasped and stumbled back herself as her eyes flew open. She just stared at him, her eyes wide and afraid as she seemed to look for an answer on his face to a burning question.

"Wh-why are you smiling?! Why didn't you run, you idiot?!" Luca's voice snapped in his head as she reached out to him with her telepathy.

"I got you talking, didn't I?" Dante chuckled, a grin on his face even as he winced at the pain chuckling caused him.

She just stared up at him, astonished that he was actually laughing off the hit like it was nothing. She was certain she had hit him pretty damn hard!

"That... Hurt a lot more than I thought it would...." Dante fell to his knees as he held his chest.

"Shit!" Luca cursed as she quickly hurried over. It was becoming increasingly obvious she never intended to hurt anyone when she attacked. "You're such a damn idiot.... Even if you didn't want to run you could have at least dodged...." She murmured.

"I knew it..." Dante looked over at her as she helped support him.

"You knew... what?...."

"That you didn't really want to be alone..."

Luca was in awe of this strange human. He had endured that attack just so she wouldn't be alone?! It made no sense whatsoever... What kind of human would do something like that?...

As it would happen, Dante cracked a few ribs in that first encounter. Even still, he went back each day. She was always reluctant to talk, but when it was obvious he wouldn't leave until she did, she eventually relented. Gradually, she stared to warm up to him, even coming out of the cave to meet him, though she'd readily chase off any other volunteer.

Dante began to notice that every time he came to see her, she would always hide her neck, either by tucking her chin or covering it with a paw. About a month after her arrival, Dante brought her the red scarf that she constantly wears to cover the scars.

It was remarkable what a simple bit of fabric did.

Without worrying about everyone seeing those scars, she came out of her cave, and even came inside the clinic! Of course, she wouldn't consent to any kind of examination unless Dante was in the room. It was an improvement, but it was clear it would be some time before she trusted other humans.

Before long, she was Dante's shadow. Wherever he was, she'd not be far behind. So, really, it didn't surprise anyone that when Dante decided to leave the Sanctuary and begin his own Pokemon journey that she followed right along with him without a second thought.

Sonata the Kirlia:

Human cruelty has no limits. Sonata knows that better than anyone. Captured by a group of scientists trying to unlock the cause behind her "abnormality", she endured constant experimentation and hellish torture at the hands of these so-called men of science. She lost track of the time she spent there before a police raid saved her. She was brought to the Sanctuary and immediately took up residence in the corner of one of the storerooms.

No matter what method the volunteers used, she always seemed terrified whenever a human entered the storeroom she had chosen to occupy. After three days, Dante made his way into the room with a folding chair and just sat down by the door with Luca.

There, he just sat in silence for quite some time. After maybe an hour had passed, the entirety of which Sonata had spent cowering in the corner, Dante started to sing a song. He couldn't exactly say why he did it, but he just knew a good song was a good way to feel better. Maybe, he reasoned, it would help here.

It took almost three songs before Sonata, then still a Ralts, made her way over to him. She was slow, cautious, wide eyes darting from Dante to Luca and back again. When the song he was singing came to an end, Sonata slowly started a song of her own through her telepathy. When the song reached the chorus, Dante joined in with his own voice. It was, Dante would always readily admit, the most unique way he'd ever gotten through to a Pokemon.

The scientists that had used her for experiments had never given her a name, so Dante gave her the name Sonata. She'd always recall that as one of the happiest moments of her life. She had always loved music, but after her incarceration, she had almost lost all the music in her. Were it not for Dante, according to her, the music inside of her would still be dead.

She was terrified of leaving that storeroom, but she seemed to always light up whenever Dante came to visit with Luca. After a couple of weeks, she consented to be carried out of the storeroom. So, Dante carried the trembling Ralts out of the storeroom so she could see the rest of the Sanctuary for the first time since her arrival.

Gradually, she began to open up. She soon found a place in the Sanctuary by singing to soothe scared Pokemon. She even used her Heal Pulse to help treat those who were injured. As she brought happiness back to those Pokemon, her own happiness grew, and she soon evolved into Kirlia.

Of course, she, like Luca, was basically attached to Dante's hip. So, even though it saddened the volunteers and inhabitants to see her go, none were surprised that Sonata followed Dante when he left on his journey.

Zora the Zorua:

Rumor has it that Zoroark will trap anyone foolish enough to enter their domain in an illusion as punishment. This rumor, as Dante would find out the hard way, was incredibly true.

On his journeys, Dante had a mighty propensity to get lost. Honestly, if it wasn't for Luca's Aura Sense, he likely would have never found his way anywhere. So, it wasn't too surprising that he found himself lost in a forest that was notorious for people never coming back out.

As he wandered along the trail, Luca suddenly perked up. "Someone's here..." Her voice echoed in Dante's mind as the sound of someone sniffling reached his ears. Up ahead, there was a girl with a scraped knee stumbling towards them. She was a petite thing, with shoulder length red hair.

"Hey, are you alright?" Dante made his way towards her, only for her to try to get away. "Hey hey, just relax, I'm not going to hurt you.." Dante spoke softly as he held up his hands.

"Yeah, help me, my ass!" The girl snapped as she held on a tree for support, glaring daggers at Dante as he slowly approached.

"Sonata... Can you do something about that knee?" Dante asked the Kirlia, who tiptoed forward. "I... I should be able to..." her soft voice spoke up as she held up her hands. The heal pulse, however, didnt' seem to do anything..

"I.. I don't understand..." Sonata gasped looking at her hands.

"..... So nobody's gonna ask why she has a tail?" Luca spoke up from behind the girl. She suddenly turned white as a sheet. "I...don't know what.... you're talking.... about..." She said slowly with a very forced smile.

"Oh? So you don't know what this is?" Luca remarked giving the tail a tug. With a yelp and a poof of smoke, the girl vanished leaving a wounded Zorua in her place.

"Oh... hehe.... th-that tail..." The Zorua smiled sheepishly.

Dante just shook his head with a smile. "Try now, Sonata... That illusion probably messed it up" He patted the Kirlia's head. Sure enough, a fresh heal pulse helped the injured Zorua.

"Woah... Thanks!" The Zorua declared, hopping back up on her feet. "Well, I'll be seeing ya!" She darted back into the forest and vanished without another word.

"Thanks and run, huh?" Luca frowned crossing her arms over her chest. As 'luck' would have it, that would not be the last encounter they'd have with that Zorua. They spent almost a week in that forest, never seeming to get any closer to finding a way out.

"I get the feeling we're going in circles..." Dante muttered wiping his forehead. Luca and Sonata nodded in agreement.

"That's because you are.... Big Mama doesn't really like humans in the forest" A familiar voice spoke up nearby as a certain Zorua came out of the shadows.

"Big Mama?"

"The pack leader... She really doesn't like humans... She makes an illusion so they go around and around in circles until she's satisfied they've been punished enough before dumping them out on the same side they came in on...." Zorua shook her head. "Normally, I don't care so much, but you seem nice enough... So how's about we make a deal?" She stepped forward and took on human form once more.

"What kind of deal?" Dante inquired tilting his head.

"I want to see what's outside this forest, but I'd be stupid to go by myself. So, you take me with you, and I show you how to get out of here before you run out of food. Deal?" The girl smirked up at him.

Dante looked over at Luca and Sonata. The former seemed less than pleased, Sonata looked, well, nervous. She never was exactly good with new people....

"I'd say we have a deal" Dante concluded. "Good. Then let's go before Big Mama finds out!" She laughed, grabbing Dante's wrist and taking off with him down the path. "Oh, my name's Zora, by the way. Yeah, I know, my mom wasn't all that creative..." she just rolled her eyes.

From then on, Zora was a welcome addition to the team. Her sense of direction was a major boon, given how prone Dante and co were to getting lost. Though, she had a mischievous streak a mile wide. Thankfully, Dante didn't seem to mind her pranks. Though, that's not to say he doesn't get flustered when she gets a bit..... "creative" with her illusions....

Gemini the Doublade:

How long would you wait for someone to come home?

Gemini waited over a century.

Her Master had been a fine swordsman. Gemini was his trusted weapon, and the two were inseparable. At least, that was how they were supposed to be...

Something about her Master's current flame seemed off. She couldn't place it, but something inside of her had told her that the woman was bad news. He tried to tell him as much, but he waved it off as Gemini simply imagining things... She couldn't shake the feeling. The more the woman came around, the stronger the suspicion grew.

When she wouldn't let go of the suspicions, it started a fight between her and her Master. When he went to see the woman one more time, he left her at home, telling her to be cooled off by the time he returned.

Only, he never returned.

Days turned into weeks, into years, into decades, into over a century. All that time, she stayed alone in her Master's home. She became more and more despondent as time drew on. Gradually, she started to refer to herself as two different Pokemon to ease the loneliness: Gem and Ai. Even still, she waited obediently for her Master to return. If anyone dared try to invade her Master's home, she chased them away. No one, she declared, would violate her Master's home.

She still held out hope that he would return someday...

In the present day, that home was considered to be Haunted. No one dared go near the building because of the dozens of rumors surrounding the place. Dante, of course, had to see it for himself. Only, he got chased out within moments. It was one thing to take a punch from Luca, it was another to get chopped to ribbons by a pissed off pair of swords.

So, he had to do some research. As a former volunteer of the Pokemon Rescue Sanctuary, he couldn't just leave a Pokemon in the state Gemini was in. The Library of the nearest town, thankfully, was able to yield some results. There were stories of a mighty swordsman who protected the land from invaders with the aid of his Doublade named Gemini.

Unfortunately, his story did not have a happy ending.

Gemini's suspicions, as fate would have it, were well based. That day when the Master arrived to see his love unarmed, the femme fatale poisoned him. She had been an assassin sent by one of her Master's enemies.

Armed with this knowledge, Dante once more approached the house. As he opened the front door, the two swords descended towards him once more.

"GEMINI!"

"Wait... he knows our names?" "How is this so?" "A coincidence, perhaps?" The two blades, speaking telepathically, seemed to carry on a full conversation with themselves.

"I know what happened to your Master!" Dante declared as he stood before the blades. Before he could blink, a blade was on either side of his neck. For a moment, he wondered if he would die like this....

"If you lie..." "It'll cost your head...."

Gemini didn't take the news well.. She clanged to the floor, sobbing inconsolably to know her Master really and truly was gone forever. Regret tore through her to know the last conversation she had with him had been a fight...

"What will become of me now?..." "Will I just.... fade away?" She sobbed as she finally managed to compose herself.

"Well... I know I'm not your old Master, but I don't think he'd want you to just stay here all alone. Why don't you come along with me? The world has changed a lot since you last left this place." Dante suggested.

For just a moment, Gemini thought she was talking to her old Master again... He had always been so kind....

She agreed to join his team on one condition. From then on, she became a constant fixture on his back. Eventually, she even got to the point she'd allow him to grasp her handles and wield her like her Master had. Granted, he was a novice at best, and she had to teach him quite a bit, but she seemed to enjoy herself during the lessons nonetheless.

It's highly advised not to insult or threaten Dante in her presence. She's every bit as protective of him as she was of her former Master.

Akira
P e r s o n a l i t y
Akira is the type of person who will never do something just because. There will be a reason, and it would have to be a damn good reason to get her off her backside. She's the textbook definition of lazy, and is proud of it. Having no real family, this teen is rarely seen with others besides her team. She's loyal to those she actually trusts and likes. But then again she doesn't like anyone. She prefers to be seen as slightly stand-offish and only interacts with her team. Because of the fact that Akira refuses to interact with many human beings, many doubt that she's anything other than anti-social. And while that's true, she is also a caring individual when with her Pokémon, loving and trusting them to support her. Because of this, she's gained the undying loyalty of any of her Pokémon who will do just about anything for her, even protecting her from others who wish her harm, especially Luc.

While being so lazy, it comes as a surprise to people that Akira's team is so well-trained. She always responds to this with a smirk and a yawn, before giving the Pokémon with her a small pat on the head. Since she actually cares about her team, considering them family, she does put in effort to make them the strongest they can be to protect themselves and each other, though she slowly learned they included her in that deal. Because she acts so care-free about any comments towards her, she tends to anger many people she doesn't even know all that well. Since she doesn't have a temper, she's barely angry, but she does get annoyed easily.

Hating to get up and leave a comfortable position when someone asks her to do something, Akira normally ignores the person talking, but when they don't leave right away, she starts to glare and tense, causing Luc, who ends up being a pillow often, to growl, warning others away. She gets annoyed with just about anyone, and refuses to help unless there's a good reason for her to.
A p p e a r a n c e
Akira is fairly short for her age, standing at five foot three inches. She's a bit petite and looks younger than she actually is, though she pays it no mind, ignoring anyone who comments about it. Akira has long black hair that cascades down to her lower back, though most of it is hidden by her hoodie. Normally she has her hood up, so her bangs and two long strands of hair are normally seen. Her bangs curl off to the right in a layered pattern, covering her right eye, and a wisp of hair curls up on each side of her face, along with two long strands of hair the slowly curl inwards outside of her jacket. Her black hair is matched by her amber eyes that look more golden yellow than anything, mixing well with the color of her hoodie.

Akira is mainly known because of her hoodie. It's a Pikachu yellow, the hood, which she rarely takes off, looks like the head of said electric mouse, and the zipper is of a lightning bolt. It's very baggy looking on her small frame, because it's very large, obviously not meant for someone of her small and short size. Underneath, she wears a fitted black tank top that's barely ever seen. She refuses to wear skirts, so instead she wears black skinny jeans that lead into her black and yellow converse high tops.

If you find your path blocked, enough hits break any barrier!
Lisa

  • Lisa is of average size, standing at about 5'6 and weighing roughly 127 lbs, which means she never stands out in terms of her sheer size because, quite frankly, it's nothing noteworthy. What she lacks in noticeable size, however, she makes up for with her very showy style of clothing and her hair. Her hair is an odd mix of red and brown, that looks close to maroon and is definitely out of the ordinary, and she'll always keep it down and flowing to flaunt her hair as much as possible. She will often wear a crop top with a light jacket on top, not because she's cold but because it matches well, and a pair of short shorts over clear dark leggings. To top her outfit off, she wears several bracelets and carries a small purse, along with a pair of black casual flats on her feet, because even she understands that comfort is more important than fashion. Her eyes are a very soft tint of hazel and stand out quite a bit when put in contrast with her black and white outfit. Lisa has smooth milky white skin that generally doesn't burn, but if she were to make a trip to the beach anyone would certainly notice a darker tint to her skin. According to Lisa, one of her best assets is her smile, which is actually quite angelic and beautiful to anyone who gets to see her sincerely smile.

Shin Nico | 18 | Male

people are boring, but pokemon get me!

  • Shin is what most people call a troublemaker. He loves to cause mischief and chaos. He has a knack for getting under people skin and throw them off their game. Over all he seems to be happy-go-lucky and an easy-going person. He loves to see the people around him laughing but really, he just like seeing any emotional response from others. Although when he gets angry, he tends to lose control and not even realize what he is doing. When it comes to his work he seems like he isn’t taking it serious, but in reality, he is. When he gets serious and lets his guard down you tend to see a sadder, loner person that has no direction in life.

Beck is the type of person who lives in the moment, she likes to live everyday like it was the last possible day of her life. No regrets and no thinking of the past, she doesn't like to think of what she did wrong as a big mistake but more of an learning experience. Beck isn't a leader, but she isn't a follower either. Shes the make her own path kinda person.
Due to her living in the moment habits, Beck often has a hard time becoming part of a group leaving her ahead of everyone else, trying to find a path that's different. Shes met very few people who appreciate her type of living, who don't look down on her and see her as a reckless kid whose just looking for attention and its something she fears is the judgement.
Receiving this email was a something pointing her in a direction, kinda like a compass, so there will be nothing that will stop her. This is destiny, maybe there's someone for her to love there, maybe there's new Pokemon, who knows! But the adventure starts now!

A P P E A R A N C E

Beck is a surprisingly tall individual. standing at 6'3 with flat sneakers on! She has mid-back length hair that has been dyed a bright fuchsia. Her clothes are very similar everyday; T-shirt, Shorts and Knee Socks with a Pink Beanie, Grey Sweater, Pink Sneakers and a bag that is the same colour as her hair!

S H O R T ----- H I S T O R Y

Beck grew up with a pretty average life, her dad and mom are government workers, she lived on the outskirts of SunTown in a large, empty house and she spent a lot of time alone. With her parents profession they rarely found themselves home at decent times in the day, which left Beck with her nanny a lot. Now her nanny was a very old and wise woman who spent all her time out in nature. That's where Beck's obsession with adventure stemmed from. With nobody watching her she would sneak around, for a while there wasn't a purpose behind it other then to be reckless. There was one day that Beck had stumbled upon a clearing, something like a fairy circle, and her grandmother was sitting in the middle. Beck had sat in the tree for what seemed like hours to her, trying to figure out what her grandmother had been doing, when a Stantler came out from the woods, Beck watched as it cautiously approached her grandmother. Her grandmother then pulled berries out of her sweater pocket and the Stantler accepted them graciously. After a while, more and more Stantler showed up and her grandmother eventually ran out of berries, she then got up and left.
Beck had scurried home, and she decided that she would confront her Nanny about this stranger habit. When she did, her grandmother invited her to tag along.
That first clearing, it now holds her grandmothers grave, Beck goes and put berries on it every year. Shes patiently waiting for a berry tree to grow for the animals.

Teddiursa - Male - Normal

Beck's main pokemon is this smaller then normal Teddiursa. He never leaves her side, refusing to enter a pokeball, so Beck must carry him with her wherever she goes. Teddiursa isn't over protective, he more looks at Beck as a parent. This Pokemon, though small , is the toughest Beck has met. He pushes himself through everything to be better, he wants to improve and be better.

Name: Kieran Rixen
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Hometown: Jubilife City

Appearance:
943f8f620047c274dfed67836e1265d8.jpg

Personality:
Can you find anyone more sarcastic than him? Witty, sardonic, and dry, Kieran Rixen is a very interesting person to converse with. He is very casual about almost everything: his posture, his speech, his demeanor. Due to this, he is not the type to get angered easily by anything, but he can get annoyed if pushed. Despite his seemingly unkempt characteristics, Kieran is very intelligent. Quick with his brain and likes to strategize, he can usually think his ways out of problems. However, unforeseen circumstances and bad luck will begin to frustrate him, and likes knowing things beforehand so he can plan for them. Kieran is not quick to judge, whether it be a situation or a person, and will try to get to know before coming to a strong opinion about them. Independent and confident in his ability, Kieran can do almost anything with his Pokemon.

Pokemon:
(M) Geo the Torterra:
His first Pokemon and his oldest partner. They share a close bond that both of them cherish. Geo is a stoic and serious Pokemon, basically the heart of the team. He acts protective over both his trainer and his teammates, and will do what he can to protect them.

(M) Aeru the Riolu:
Hatched from an egg Kieran earned from a competition, Aeru is quite attached to Kieran. Kieran allows him to walk beside him outside his Pokeball, and Aeru is curious about the world around him. The most outgoing of his team, Aeru is brash and always itching for a fight.

(M) Pikaboo the Mimikyu:
Finding him in an abandoned house, Kieran decided to bring Pikaboo along with him. Pikaboo is very shy and does not handle strangers (whether they be people or other Pokemon) well. He’s only comfortable with Kieran, but is a resilient fighter when need be.

(M) Axel the Axew:
Capturing Axel while Kieran was training his team, Axel has been a strong addition to the team. A Pokemon with a lot of love to give, Axel cares greatly for his fellow teammates. A big heart with even bigger power, Axel will happily go into battle.

"Krix, c'mon. I'll be fine," Xavier stressed into his Omni-Tool. Xavier was in the Citadel elevator, heading to the floor where everyone is supposed to meet.

"I don't know about this," the old Turian replied. "The job seems sketchy."

"All my jobs seem sketchy Krix," Xavier retorted, "this one's no different. Plus, I've never botched a job once."

"How about that time on Earth when you did a job for my friend?"

"OK, one," Xavier held up one finger, "I did not botch that job." He held up another finger, "And two, it is not my fault the client threw us to the Vorcha. Literally!"

Krix chuckled. "I remember that." A moment of silence, then: "You are absolutely sure you want to take this job."

No hesitation. "Absolutely positive. It'll be the find of a lifetime, if it exists. If not, I get paid either way."

"OK..." Krix says tentatively. He still didn't sound convinced. "Update me whenever you can. And be careful."

"I solemnly swear I'll be on my best behavior." Another chuckle. "See ya, Krix." Xavier hung up just as the elevator reached his destination. Before the doors opened, he cloaked, and a Salarian walked in without being the wiser. He walked out of the elevator--not before taking some of the Salarian's chits through his Omni-tool--and headed towards the lounge. He waited for someone to exit, and walked in before the doors closed. Xavier wandered around, making his way to a group of four at a private booth. Believing he found the group, he walked around and leaned next to a wall.

"Well this seems like an interesting group..." Xavier said aloud, finally uncloaking.

Arona Light
Personality
One thing that is quick to notice about Arona is that she's reserved. She likes to keep to herself, often the one to only input effort into any teamwork (with other trainers) when she is needed. Arona isn't awkward or shy or anything of the like, she just prefer the peace and quiet that being alone can offer. It also helps for her to think through and about things. Ideas, conclusions, and connections can formulate during the time Arona takes alone.

But like any human she will at times seek out social interactions, whether it be with Pokemon or people. She has a pretty calm demeanor and is hardly over expressive. Arona can smile, frown, show fear and disgust otherwise all other emotions will take a bit to figure out from her body language. And these smiles and frowns are hardly obvious, so sometimes by looking at her gray eyes one can catch the shine of humor or the dullness of sadness.

Arona is intelligent, analytical, observant, and quick-witted. She can hold grudges and be stubborn about her decisions. Hardly will she want to start or put up a fight. It's not that she finds violence not the key rather that fighting expends energy and time that could be used elsewhere. Despite being quite the smart cookie, Arona can be dense when it comes to reading people's attitudes towards her or in ways to react back to people's responses.

She cares deeply for Pokemon and people alike, even though it may not seem like it. At times she may come across as someone who views Pokemon as tools, but she really does not. All Arona does in these moments is try to open her mind to other perspectives of people in how they see Pokemon.
Biography
Arona Light is quite well known throughout Pokemon-lover advocates, but not because of herself rather due to her parents. Let's just say that they didn't exactly have a fan club, rather the opposite. Emma and Jay Light were Pokemon researchers of their own kind. They merely viewed Pokemon as species existent as a form of tools for nature and in an essence humans. But they still recognize them as living things. (Kind of like how some people view cows as a form of meat but still acknowledge them as living creatures, which brings about the protests of vegetarians and vegans.) They would try to find methods in harnessing energies of certain types as more effective ways for energy to run society. So they would detain wild Pokemon and run tests like to see what is the limit of say a Pikachu to provide electricity for a home or the limit for a Magmar to provide heat. Once they reached their limit though they would simply let them rest and re-test them again. Then when they received their results then they would release back into the wild whether it was weak or healthy.

The couple worked on research like this for decades, then during their time together they ended up having Arona. Arona grew up like most other kids, having dreams of becoming the next Pokemon master and the best trainer out there. But her parents reputation didn't exactly allow her to have a normal childhood. People who were not fond of her parents mentality and experiments were negative. Even the children of these adults influenced their attitudes towards Arona. So she didn't really have any friends. And she didn't really have the familial interaction with her parents. Rather she was raised by their assistant. She was a kind woman who raised for Arona, but she held a dark secret from Arona.

A news story was released of the Light researchers and their assistant. Turned out that whenever the Lights' mentality nearly reached the peak of insanity and nearly tested out harmful theories on Pokemon, they backed away from such ideas. They did, but not their assistant. In fact she would use their lab after hours and conduct such insane experiments.

Of course the media didn't accept the excuse from the Lights that they had no knowledge of such experiments that were being conducted by their assistant. This ruined their image and potentially Arona's as well. Some people pitied her but others saw her as just the girl that probably had the same mentality of their parents. One, Arona did not think the same as her parents, and two, they still had affection for Pokemon but merely saw them more as tools.

So Arona kind of grew up in the shadow of her parent's reputation, not fair but something that she was stuck with. This of course changed Arona's aspirations and really attitude of people and Pokemon, as well as the fact that the one person she looked up to betrayed her parents and essentially was a charlatan. She came to love Pokemon even more and people less. She decided to take the course of trying to create her own image, separate from her parents. Arona started it off by changing her hair color to white, a difference from the raven black hair of her parents and working on finding lost Pokemon and returning them to their owners.

Her studies continued to stay align on focusing on the effectiveness and differences between Pokemon types like her parents considering it was something that was drilled into her, and as much as she does not like to admit it their logical thinking has influenced how she chose Pokemon for her team.

But her compassion balances out her logic when it comes to working with Pokemon.

So to this day she continues to work on her image and showing everyone that they shouldn't associate her to her parents even though she tells everyone to address her by her last name. She does this because she still cares for her parents and wants to show others that they aren't what many believe them to be.

This thought process even applied to when she first encountered Roux, her Houndoom. Arona first met him when he was a Houndour. He was a mean, little Pokemon that often encountered abuse from people because of what he was a Houndour, a Pokemon that was often seen with a bad reputation. Arona knew once she saw the angry little pup that he was the one for her. It took days to catch him and then months for him to finally listen to her. Really it took for her to receive a burn from him before he saw her determination to work with him. Afterwards he became as loyal as he can be. Becoming the strongest Pokemon currently on Arona's team.
Description
Arona stands at 5'5" with a lean body figure and weighs 137 lbs. She has a small chest and just below average hips. As for the rest of her body she is average and overall proportional with her height and weight. Arona has white hair that stops at her shoulder and gray eyes.

Why Valoire? Why did she become a werewolf? Why didn't she tell her? Well Jackie knew the answer to that question.
Why?
Why?
Why?

Really Jackie wasn't blaming the right person, herself. Why did she come to hate supernaturals? Was it really all that bad in the past? At this point she couldn't really remember details, just the emotions behind it. Her mind and soul were clearly in conflict as this point. A dissonance within herself that was causing much anger and despair. She should've headed straight to her condo, but instead she made a quick stop to the local liquor store and bought more than she could handle. Whether she was going to drink it all that night depended on how she feels, and at the moment she probably needed it all.

No comfort was brought to Jackie once she step foot into her condo, instead more anger flared up inside of her. Anger at Valoire, anger at the world, but especially anger at herself. Jackie reached down into her paper bag and pulled out the first liquor bottle for the night, tequila. With a quick twist to the top, Jackie opened the bottle and took a large swig coughing a bit afterwards once she finished swallowing it down. The woman kept on drinking the bottle as she walked over to her laptop that laid on her bed, picking it up and then slamming it down to the ground. She reached over and pulled out the steel bat from underneath her bed and continued on to smash the laptop to bits. Jackie wanted to scream as she did this, instead burning tears streamed down her face. She felt so sad and angry that screaming at this point would be pointless. Although smashing her computer was not any better.

Once she felt satisfied that the laptop was completely obliterated, Jackie proceeded to finish the tequila bottle and pulled out a backup laptop from her desk. This one she didn't destroy. Instead she logged onto it and erased all that she was online. She was done with all this hate she fueled. Now she needed to rethink things in her life. She felt angry at herself for not accepting Valoire right away and still not being able to. What was it going to take to face Valoire, her friend once more? Jackie at this point continued to open another bottle and drink until she blacked out.

Tallis King

28

Male

Description
Tallis is usually seen donning a black vest on top of a white dress shirt, topped with a black tie that is neatly tucked beneath said vest. Due to his terrible eye-sight, he is never seen without his pair of black-rimmed glasses. He has long, black, disheveled hair that falls to the base of his neck, and along with his often messy and scruffy clothing that he rarely bothers to properly clean, he is often mistaken as a vulgar and indolent person. He also wears black, formal dress pants and only has a single pair of shoes, which are a pair of sturdy leather shoes with dusty black laces. His physical attributes are...subpar. He stands at an average height of 5'9 and is rather scrawny. He doesn't particularly have a bulky frame, but he is still in relatively healthy physical condition and makes up for muscle mass in increased stamina and endurance.

Personality
As mentioned earlier, Tallis makes up for his lack of physical talent with his tenacious nature. If he has his eyes set on a goal, he will continuing pursuing it, even if achieving it can seem impossible. This has caused him to end up in quite a few perilous situations. Also, he is a very observant and analytical person. When working with others, he prefers to observe the issue from a different perspective and then convey it to his teammates. Although he is rarely one to start a fight, he will gladly challenge another if they offend him or his ideals in any way. Overall, he is quite unpredictable...being arrogant and hot-headed one moment and calm and collected another, which often results in him not getting along well with others.

Jasper couldn't help but occasionally sneak in quick glances at the other subjects that were showing interest towards Stryke. He vaguely remembered her callsign to be Bastet and her abilities pertaining to emotions. Glancing over to the left of her, his gaze fell upon the brown-haired boy to which he recalled to be polite yet boisterous and his abilities, at this point, were unknown to Jasper. He silently scolded himself for not being able to recall such an important aspect of a person. Well, important at least within the facility. His thoughts led him to thinking about the outside world and he quickly shook his head and swept away the memories that otherwise would've come rushing back to him. Although he was rarely reminded of his past life in the facility, thinking about it just seemed to worsen the pain and anguish that he tried to oppress for so long.

After a few more moments of silently sitting and waiting, he could no longer suppress his curiosity and besides, his legs were getting sore from sitting on the cold floor for days on end. He slowly stood up, gently brushing pieces of dirt and dust off of his pants before heading over the group. Although he was intrigued by the gathering and wanted to know more, he did not make a beeline straight for the group as that would only earn him unwanted attention and could possibly make him appear hostile, therefore he casually meandered his way towards the group, making sure to keep his down and eyes averted. Once he was a few feet away, he began to pick up specifics from their conversations.

His eyes widened as he heard what they were discussing about. "Has the time finally come?" Thought Jasper as he continued heading towards the group, now filled with hundreds of different questions all relating to the idea of an escape

Che Ji-Hae / Female / 15

Celestic Town

A soft spoken and sleepy-looking girl, Ji-Hae is easily noticed via her super long twin tails that curl naturally, held together by large bows that change in color time to time. Her hair is silky and soft to the touch, and is a milk chocolate, and her eyes are a a few shades lighter with an orange hue at the edge and surrounding her pupil. She seems to wear a series of skirts and navy-uniform shirts.

This poor girl is just so easily tired, but worry not as she's super nonchalant at times and speaks quietly and tiredly no matter the situation. Often viewed as monotone, Ji-Hae actually acts a little younger than she is; she even seems to still have child innocence and may even hold some naivety.

To be lucky enough to have this shiny be captured so early on her adventures, Teenie has been on the team for a few good months, and seems to love snuggling up to Ji-Hae the most when she lets them out to nap with her. He also appears to be friendly if Ji-Hae is friendly with anyone...sorta
Fuzzy
latest

Fuzzy is a rather timid Skiddo, often finding himself leaning against Ji-Hae when out for food or naps, and seems to stomp whenever he is much too nervous for the situation. However, he's a great fighter! He enjoys letting smaller pokemon ride on his back, and maybe even small/lightweight trainers. He's not new to the team, either.
Giggle
aipom.gif

Usually an outspoken and tough pokemon, Giggle is the first pokemon Ji-Hae has captured, and has yet to evolve. He will often time his tail wagging a lot more than other Aipoms, but he's okay with that.
Jeong-Won
WideIndelibleBantamrooster.gif

Being her starter pokemon back in Sinnoh, it's not suprising this boy is mature and ready to push some younger pokemon around. Not literally, he just seems to be a bit snooty at times. His name translates to garden, and he was given the name by Ji-Hae's father.

The girl snuggled deeper into her blankets as she practically felt the sun hit her tired face, mumbling tiredly as her long hair spread about the pillows messily. Ji-Hae could hear someone pop out of their pokeball just faintly, ignoring it for a long moment as she started to doze off again.

That's when she felt uncomfortable, the teen groaned loudly in a poor attempt at defense as she felt a weight on top of her. "I'm trying to sleehhhhp" she mumbled, feeling her energy zap out of her; Ji-Hae buried her face into a pillow. "stoooophhhh"

"Aaaaaipom!!!" she heard before her tired eyes opened suddenly. Her sides ruptured as she let out strained laughter, giggling and feeling air rush in and out of her nose and throat to create snorts; Giggle was using tickle on her, and the teen wasn't sure if she should be happy or not.

"Okay, okay!! I-I'm up, I'm up!" despite the emotion in her voice, it was still so soft you could barely hear it.

Name
Leon Gremoir

Age
23

That odd sort of person who doesn't consider themselves the main character of their own life, that's how Leon is. He's a bystander, an observer of the things that happen around him but avoiding becoming involved himself. If he gets involved it's difficult to keep his view unbiased, and making sure his view of events remains unclouded by personal opinion is important to him. One might go as far as to say it's the only thing important to Leon; the man seems completely apathetic towards just about everything. He doesn't laugh or yell or cry no matter what life throws his way, he just accepts and continues on. With no real ambition or expectations for himself he's able to assess each new situation and figure out how to deal with it in the most efficient way to get back to his role of simply observing. He isn't exactly sure how he ended up taking care of a family of pokemon and... an Abra -when did that happen?- but he doesn't consider himself a pokemon trainer. If he is forced into a battle he just lets Milady and Milord do what they feel like.

Leon doesn't often talk about himself since he doesn't consider himself important, but every once in a while someone will recognize his last name and bother him about it. He was born in Lacunosa Town in Unova. He has an older brother who's apparently a pretty good trainer, part of some league thing apparently. That's where people recognize the name from, his brother. He's recently been trying to put down the things he's seen into writing after one of his brother's friends took a peek at some of his notes and said he'd be a good author, but so far he hasn't been happy with anything he's written. Unfortunately this new hobby is pushing Leon even deeper into his unhealthy mindset of being nothing more than an observer.

Milord & Milady
A pair of Meowstic Leon happened upon while visiting Kalos with his brother. He hasn't been able to get rid of them. Milord (/Lord/Milo) is generally more calm and relaxed, while Milady (/Lady/Mily) has a temper and likes to boss others around. Milady is Leon's only pokemon really fit for battle, but with Milord backing her up she's usually more than enough.

062.gif

Prince
The child of Milord and Milady. Leon doesn't like dealing with him. The thing's just plain creepy. He seems like an idiot, if not for many of the ways he manages to put himself in harm's way requiring intense thought and planning to pull off. So maybe an idiot, maybe an evil genius. While theoretically possessing all of the powers of both his parents, the only time he actually uses this power is to accomplish pointless things.

An unnamed Abra that Leon doesn't even remember catching. It spends most of its time half asleep, with the other half watching Prince and keeping the little monster out of trouble. The Abra acts more like the thing's parent than its actual parents.

Jay lay on his back on his bed, notebook in one hand pencil in the other, fingers moving with precise motions as he sketched. He was careful not to move too much lest he disturb the Vaporeon sleeping on his stomach.

On the other side of the room a young woman with bright pink hair was sitting on a couch next to a Gardevoir. The two each had a controller for a fighting game on their laps, and the young woman was furiously spinning the stick and slapping buttons. The screen flashed with the letters KO. Jay closed his eyes and listened to the sound of yet another game controller flying across the room and hitting the wall. No shattering or cracking sounds this time? It had been worth asking Celena for a reinforced controller. There was a sound like chimes ringing as the Gardevoir laughed.

"Jay, tell Sol she can't play games using psychic!"

He looked to see what Ava wanted now. The woman was pointing at the Gardevoir. Behind her, a remarkably-undamaged controller floated back across the room and set itself down on the couch.

"Sol, let Ava win one of these days so she'll stop whining at me," he said apathetically. The woman growled in frustration and called for a rematch. The Gardevoir prepared to add another game to her winning streak. Jay closed his notebook with a sigh. "Sol, could you..."

Before he'd finished asking, the Vaporeon was lifted from his stomach and set down on the bed beside him. The Gardevoir didn't even look away from the TV. Jay stood up and walked to the door, mentioning something about going out that the psychic pokemon would pass on to Ava whenever she finally gave up on the game.

He took the elevator up to the top floor and walked out onto the roof. The radio tower rose even higher yet above the top of the building. The light from the city made it impossible to see the stars from here. Red lights blinked on and off on the tower, but one light lit as Jay walked onto the roof and didn't dim. He stood still for a few minutes and then sprinted for the edge of the roof. The patch of red moved as well.

Jay threw himself off and into open air, but instead of falling he just continued moving away from the building. The red glow, in reality a red-orange and gray bird, had caught him. The Talonflame screeched, which Jay assumed was his daily reminder that one day the Talonflame wouldn't feel like moving to catch him. He smiled, knowing that that was a lie. Acedia loved being reckless, he could hardly berate his trainer for acting likewise.

The Team Delta admin streaked across the night sky on his flaming bird pokemon. It was hard to know where he was going. Maybe he'd just make a loop around the city, or maybe he'd take off for somewhere far away and have Solitaire bring him back in the morning.
