Aight so there's this modern-day city that has a small non-human populace that lives secretly among humans thanks to the generous mayor, but then monsters start seeping in from the forest that borders the city and start wreaking havoc or blending in to society themselves and feasting on the city's people behind the scenes. The mayor, aware of these attacks, starts hiring able bodied non-humans and human slayers to hunt down these monsters that keep causing shenanigans around the city before word gets out that fantasy creatures exist and there's global panic.
