Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Hope for Tommorow (REBOOT)

"..... I KNOW! QUARTER CIRCLE LIGHT FIERC-

He's... Gone?"

Warren was so lost in thought, Silas took most of the work. Warren was relieved nodoby had injuries that were THAT bad.

"Heh! Nice one Silas! You killed it out there!" Warren sighed in relief knowing that it was over for now.

Warren took a quick glance at his watch.

"I think we can still make the flight, let's hurry!"

Warren called Barry informing of the situation, and had the foundation send out a REAL escort to the airport. Finally, they can get another step closer to DIO...

---------------------------------------------------

The after Souma fled, he revived a phone call from a man with a deep, almost scary voice

"...Souma... Were you successful?..."

Silas hissed at the touch of the bandage to his wound, a sharp sting shooting up the length of his arm. "Thanks for the help," he said, gritting his teeth. "although, I never was much of a cricket fan myself. Good work." After the pain had subsided somewhat, he stood up, brushing the dirt off his suit and smoothing his mustache. He flashed the younger girl a smile. "I presume you've got a name then, yeah?"

Jack chuckled as he watched the group begin to make their way to the airport. "I'll meet you few in your next destination." He said, grinning maniacally as he used his stand to rip off the door from a nearby car, got in, and quickly hot-wired it. He then slammed on the gas pedal and sped off to the airport using a very different, faster, and way more dangerous route. Sure, he may have hit a few people, but they were in the way of his goal of ending the group for Lord DIO. Acting indifferent to the blood-spatters on his new car, he arrived at the airport and quickly hid the car. He got out, and waited inside the airport for the group that could arrive - possibly any minute now.

"Just call me Kyo , ive nevet been one for formalities " She smiled closing the first aid kit and brushing the dirt from her skirt and adjusted her black framed glasses " That guy has issues" she sighed "why do some stand users think they are better and stronger then normal people.."

"Well... I don't think it's 100% them..." Warren frowned as he looked toward kyoko.

"Dio makes people do these kinds of things. He tempts them with greed, fame and power, and it eventually corrupts them to the point of it being unhealthy. They let it get to thier heads, and they sometimes loose it." Warren shrugged.

"Other times, it's just them thinking that since they aren't completely normal, that they are all powerful, but a lot of the time, that isn't the case."

Alphonsine sat in a measly plastic chair, as close to the door of the airport as she could. She was fuming. Her chauffeur was going to be a whole half an hour late. She would have to be here amongst all these people, in an uncomfortable seat. Alphonsine played with the rubber rabbit ears on her phone case in order to attempt to cool her rage. After looking up for a quick scan of the crowd, she peered down at her iPhone again in order to turn up her music volume. Strangelove was seated next to her, silent and unmoving. The stand's presence was a tad bit calming, but she wished she could take her cat, Duchesse, out of her pet carrier.

She had a lot of luggage, but luckily there were plenty of people who jumped at the chance to help a cute and visibly weak girl carry such things. A man had tried to take her cat carrier from her, and she had nearly lost her cool demeanor. That wouldn't do at all, she thought, even though that man might have hurt Duchesse. Alphonsine couldn't let herself be so overcome by emotions. She should be able to just simply ask him to not touch the cat without putting much thought into it.

"......hmm......"

Warren was lost in thought. They were getting close to the airport by now

"All of the great stand users from the past have had a signature pose... What can I do..."

As Warren stepped out of the car, he more so hopped out, and into a pose with his arms in a cross position over his face.

"...nah I'll figure it out later."

Warren brought all of his things in.

"Come on guys, we don't want to be late!"

Kyoko skipped after warren with her backpack and giggled as she skipped. The little seriousness she had all but gone and the childlike wonder in its place once again .

Looking around the airport she felt overwhelmed and stopped in her tracks scared. The happiness and wonder in her face replaced by fear.

A poor looking man sat near the doors of the airport, his head tilted downward to hide his face. An empty cup lay in front of him, only a single coin filling in it's otherwise empty space. He looked up at Warren and his friends, a glimmer of hope twinkled in his one visible eye, the other was concealed by an eyepatch. He opened his mouth to speak to them, but he just as soon closed it. The spark of life in his eye faded to nothing, leaving only despair.

Warren tried his best to ignore the man; he really did. But the second he noticed the despair in the man's eyes he sighed, and pulled out 3 singles out of his wallet

"Here- all yours, I'd give you more, but I need to save up."

Jack had "bought" a few souvenirs from the airport, such as a pair of shades, a hat, and a new yellow bandana, all while leaving nothing behind him but the soulless body of a cashier and a few customers. As his stand, Nocturne, finished up containing the souls, he chuckled, putting on the hat, the shades, and pulling up the yellow bandana to hide his lower face -- and then came the screams from those who had found the body. Mass panic spread throughout the airport, people began shoving and pushing and tears began streaming, it was chaos, and to Jack, it was beautiful. He sat down at a nearby table, pulling out a deck of cards and shuffling them, calmly, and chuckling at those running past.

Silas smiled at Warren as he gave the homeless man some money. He's a damn good kid. A bit naive, maybe, but he's got potential, and a lot of it. Barklet was about to remind him about how they needed to get going, but his attention was shifted to a sudden screaming crowd of people. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me." The universe really doesn't want us on that damn plane, does it? He ran through the crowd of people as they flocked towards the exits; he was surprised he wasn't trampled trying to push through them. A few "excuse me's" and "pardon's" and he was at the other side, looking around to see just what the hell these people were running from. A man caught his eye who, like himself, was moving in the opposite direction of the mob. "Hey, what are you doing?" he shouted over the commotion, "The exit's the other way, man!"

Warren was taken aback when noticing... Bodies... on the floor of the shop

"Oh... Oh my god you guys... Look..."

Warren pointed to the carnage. He then noticed a man sitting at the table, with a deck of cards.

"Oh man, I remember that guy... Didn't we see him when we were fighting Souma... I don't trust this guy... Stay alert."

Jack pulled down his bandana from over his mouth, revealing a grin. "You're right about where the exits are, but I don't have to run. You see, I've found exactly what I'm looking for." He said, finishing up his deck-shuffling and motioning to Silas to sit at the table where he was. "How about a game of Poker before you head off?" He said.

Kyoko Pulled out her cellphone ,she quickly passed warren her cellphone " Call the police or the paramedics!" She said seriously. "I'll see if I can find the person did this or someone who saw what happened. She rushed off toward the stalls and looked around dropping her bag by warren I case he needs anything like the first aid kit or the notebook.

What? He found what he was looking for? What could that be?

"We have time Silas, but if you're going to play be care-"

Warren fumbled around as he tried to catch the phone tossed at him.

"On it!" Warren began to call paramedics.

"Be careful Silas!"

"Poker?" Silas looked at the table, furrowing his brow. "You want me to play poker?" Aside from the fact that this was an extremely bizarre thing to ask of someone at a time like this, there was a much more important thing to note: Silas didn't know how to play poker. Still, it was clear this guy had something to do with the chaos here, and he was going to get to the bottom of it. Or at least, he was going to try. "What's your angle, pal?" he jabbed, pointing his finger accusingly at the man. "Who are you? What are you doing here?"

@Samevi

"Who am I?" Jack asked. "Maybe if you sit down, you'll find out." He said. He pulled off his hat and threw it to the side, being sure to leave his shades on. By now, pretty much everyone had run out of the airport, so the chaos had died down quickly. "However, I can tell you what I'm doing here. I'm sitting and waiting for an opponent to play me in poker." He said, chuckling again. It appeared his plan to get Silas angry was working so far.

The artist reluctantly complied, taking a seat on the other side of the table from where the man was sitting. "Fine, I'll play your little game." Silas slouched in his seat, staring analytically at his soon-to-be opponent. "Why poker of all things?" he asked, "the last guy we saw beat the shit outta me, so why aren't you trying to do the same?"

Jack shrugged and began dealing the cards. "That's... Not normally my style." He said. "When it comes to a fight, I may not be too bad, but I prefer to stay out of fights like that. Surely you can respect that?" He said while finishing his deal, a grin still decorating his face. He pulled out a box of poker chips and set them up properly before speaking again. "Open the game." He said.

As soon as the screaming had started, Alphonsine turned to look in the direction of its source. There appeared to be dead bodies all over the ground in a dinky little souvenir shop. Just wonderful. Très merveilleux. There was no way she was going to be able to sit in her chair and listen to music now. Not with all the noise and chaos. She might as well get closer to see what was happening.

Alphonsine bent over and grabbed onto her cat carrier handle before standing up. She took a moment to smooth any wrinkles in her dress before she began to walk towards the shop. Strangelove followed right behind her. People pushed past, running away in a panicked frenzy. Her tiny body was nearly knocked over a few times. How rude. Usually others took the utmost care to avoid bumping into her, but now all that was on anyone's mind was survival.

Once she had a good view of what was going on, she stopped and stood in place. There were two, very bizarre looking men inside the shop. And they appeared to be playing cards. Of all times to be participating in such a lowlife game, was now really it, she wondered. Neither man looked scared. Did they not fear the person or persons who must have killed the corpses around them?

"...okay, thank you."

Warren hung up the call and tucked the phone securely in his pocket and made his way to Silas. On the way, he bumped into some other girl. Who seemed too calm for a situation like this.

"Hey, excuse me, you might want to be careful around here. You see that guy, with the sunglasses and the bandana around his neck? My friends and I think he's up to something. So just... Be careful."

Warren walked over to the both to carefully watch the two.

She felt quite annoyed at this. Alphonsine could handle herself, and some kid treating her like she was weak made her upset. She stood there silently fuming as she watched the two men.

"Hey Warren come look at this" Kyoko yelled out as she found a strange man and silas in a strange stall full of things kyoko considered cool. She took a look around the stall and found a scuffy and creepy teddy bear "interesting"

"Yeah kyoko? What's up?"

Warren walked over, watching her grab the small stuffed bear.

"Haha! Look! It kinda matches my stand!" Warren summoned his stand to compare the Bears.

"...do you want it?"
