Fandom Tokyo Ghoul : Monochrome Silhouettes

Kaori was exhausted...

It was another day in the hell that was the CCG dominated 12th Ward of Tokyo. Kaori had managed to stay under the radar her entire life, keeping a hard eye out for ghoul activity that would drag her down, too, and avoiding it like the plague. She ate collected meats instead of hunting, unless she needed to, of course, and she minded her own business, stayed out of fights, shyed from confrontations (though she did sometimes enjoy a good scuffle). Kaori was the manager of a retail store and had achieved the normal life of a human, what Ghoul would squander that much? Probably someone who didn't care anymore about their life or role in this back and forth game the ghouls and doves had been playing for ages now.

As Kao thought about everything she had and everything going on, she checked her surroundings: she was running, doing her cardio excersises as she was on her way to her favorite coffee shop. About three blocks away, the ghoul made a mad dash to strain her already burning lungs and aching legs and shoulders. She sucked in a breath as she rounded a corner only to have it knocked right from her chest when she bashed directly into someone. The small female let out a startled cry as she went down, landing on the concrete with a nice plop. "Ow... I'm sorry," Kaori whimpered from the ground, only to look up at the male she had run into and behind him a crime scene filled with Doves in suits. The hair on Kao's nape stood up as she prickled with nausea, the sight of a ghoul's torn body lying in the street. She didn't recognize the body, thankfully, but it still made her want to turn tail and run.

Instead the female forced herself to act calm as she got up, dusted herself off and sighed.
"I, uh, I guess this road is closed... Sorry for running in to you." Kaori got another good look at the scene before picking out her phone, shooting a text to her roommate about the road blockage and death of another ghoul.

Yeah, she was exhausted.

Hanamori Flower Store

Tsubaki was arranging the new batch of flowers that had come in when the store's manager, Bunta-san, entered. His expression, Tsubaki noted, was dismal. More so than usual. As a ghoul, Tsubaki had to carefully observe the humans around her. She had to learn to imitate their expressions and react as a human would. The proper response when noticing a human's distress was to inquire about their well-being. Tsubaki tilted her head in a concerned manner. "Is something wrong Bunta-san?"

Bunta Hanamori sighed. "Nothing that should worry you, Tsubaki-chan. Just be careful when you're going home. There's a crime scene a couple of blocks from here."

Tsubaki nodded. "I heard the police sirens."

"They say it's a ghoul that died,"
Bunta sighed. "The streets of the 12th district are getting pretty dangerous as of late. Want me to walk you home? You live alone, don't you? I can bring over some food."

"Thank you for your concern, Bunta-san, but I'll be fine." Tsubaki glanced at the clock. If she hurried she should be able to make it to school before rehearsals start. It would be a stretch, but seeing as she was a ghoul--and an ukaku at that--speed should be no problem. She was slightly irritated that her manager had shown up late, but she couldn't blame him.

Doves always tend to make things more difficult.

"You sure, kid?"
Bunta grinned. "I make a mean pasta."

Tsubaki smiled. She had become so used to faking her emotions around humans, it had become second nature. "I'm sure. Besides, I'm not going home yet. It's only a few days before the school play. My drama club planned extra rehearsals that I'm required to attend."

"I see," Bunta patted Tsubaki's shoulders as the dark haired girl grabbed her bag. "Thank you for your hard work. Good luck. And be careful."

"I will," After saying her goodbyes to Bunta, Tsubaki left the store and entered a dark alley. When she saw that no one was around, she allowed her wings to emerge. Flapping, Tsubaki took to the skies and flew in the directions of Seika High.

Crime Scene

"I'm telling you to leave this to us," Akane said, rubbing her temples in irritation at the local police officer. He was obviously new. "The CCG deals with all matters involving ghouls."

"But..."

Akane placed a firm hand on the older man's shoulders. "Leave this to us. We'll make sure all ghoul perpetrators are brought to justice."

She was relieved when the man finally left. Akane could understand the officer's feelings, but ghouls weren't something for normal civilians to handle. That was her job...as well as the job of her fellow ghoul investigators.

Speaking of civilians...

Akane sighed when she saw another civilian bump into one of her comrades. It had taken nearly ten minutes to clear the area of curious eyes. Ten minutes that could have better been spent hunting ghouls. Akane frowned as she watched the woman play with her phone. "No pictures, please."

Geez, why are there always people obstructing our work.

Akane turned her attention away from the civilian. Issei would deal with her. She had more important matters to deal with. Akane studied the torn body of the ghoul. She wrinkled her nose in disgust."Whoever killed the ghoul did a messy job. Can you even find a kakuhou in that mess?"

She peered at the torn flesh, ignoring the stench. She was already used to it. "If I were to guess, I'd say a ghoul did it. Either a territorial fight or we have us a cannibalistic one. A binge eater at that...seeing as how it didn't even bother to finish off all of its food."

Akane collected samples of hair and blood. "I'll run a DNA check to see if we can cross one of the targets off our list."

Could it be A. Angel that did this? She's been known to kill ghouls from time to time. No...too messy.

Akane sighed. It was times like this that made her wish Akira was still here. Akane hadn't been assigned a partner since her brother died. She didn't want one. However, she knew it was only a matter of time until the higher ups assigned her one. Akane flipped opened her suitcase and inserted the samples in one of the free slots. Now as not the time to be worrying about minor details. She would deal with whatever happens as it comes. For now Akane would focus on what she what she was good at. Hunting ghouls.

A couple of ribs picked clean, facial features almost unrecognizable. The sad part was that there's barely any investigation to beyond this. It didn't match any prime ghoul targets' murderous behaviour, so this crime scene was more or less a dead end. It was just to clean up the mess, take the photos, file the documents and inform loved ones. The bureau investigators were more than enough to take care of that, and any trails had long since gone cold. Issei was only here to check for any obvious signs of ghoul activity while waiting for Keiji to show up. The other investigators would keep searching through the area in the faint hope that there'd be a lead, but there never really is. Issei let out a long sigh.

Doing daily patrols was exhausting.

...

bump

Issei felt a momentary pressure against his back as someone or something collided with him and he turned around to face a young girl on the ground. She was dressed as if she was out jogging, which would explain the sudden collision with him. "Ow... I'm sorry," Issei smiled at the girl and took his hands out of the black trenchcoat. "Oh, no problem." He turned his head and looked over his shoulder as his colleague Akane Sonoda, a young first rank Investigator, told the girl not take any pictures in passing. He shrugged, still with a faint smile on his face and turned back towards the girl. "You heard the woman. Let's get out of here, it smells horribly."

He walked up in front of her and glanced at her over his shoulder. "Come on, klutz. It's a nice day, no reason to spend it by a rotting corpse." His polished shoes reflected the sun with every step he took, and he motioned towards the stranger to follow him. Of course, he wasn't even dressed up as a CCG investigator, but that detail tended to escape his mind. What to him seemed like him escorting a civilian from the scene probably looked strange or even creepy to everyone who didn't know who he was. "I'm Issei. What do I call you? Other than Klutz, of course." He casually started conversation.

Itsuko Tengami

Itsuko finished washing the blood out of his clothes into a bucket about as fast as a desperate mass murderer does things. Very slowly. "Damn... They probably already took my lunch..." He muttered as he turned on the television. Then he saw that the news had already spread. "A recent development in today's killing of a ghoul suggests that the perpetrator was also a ghoul and that this ghoul is what's called a binge-eater. These ghouls are mu-" The reporter was cut short by the sound of the television shutting down as Itsuko unhappily walked to the door of his apartment. He took one last look and made sure nothing was detectable. At that final sweep, he shot out of his apartment and into the daylight.

At his usual slow walking pace, Itsuko was able to piss off the people trying to walk around him by changing the side of the sidewalk to ogle at something in a storefront. That made him take up as much space as he possibly could. Of course, as most things did, Itsuko was quickly bored by that. The only solution to that would be to kill a few people and hope one was a ghoul so he could complete his Kakuja, or go to the crime scene and be generally annoying. Settling on the second latter option, Itsuko picked up his pace a little and stopped annoying random people. He was a SS ranked ghoul so even the greenest worker would know who he was. The site came into view and he let out a wide frown. It was being cleaned up. Now Itsuko had no reason to be here. None of these humans would be that tasty so he would just sit on a bench in a conveniently place park and watch.

As he was walking past the crime scene, Itsuko heard shouting begin happening from within the closed off perimeter and assumed he was causing it. That was always a safe assumption in his opinion. As he was about the sit down, Itsuko noticed a familiar face escorting an unfamiliar one away from the crime scene. They would be a perfect group to piss off. If he could run away from the investigator in time, Itsuko would be able to escape unscarred and leave a trail of dead bodies for the CCG to follow. He stepped in front of the two walkers and looked around casually. Finally, Itsuko took his hands out of his pocket and lit a cigarette. "Hey!" He began. This would be a enjoyable lecture. "First your being more creepy than I am, then you make some ****ty jokes?" Itsuko shouted at the investigator. He took in one last breath of his device to piss off the general public and dropped it. Slowly grinding the cigarette into a pile of ash would certainly be more than enough to set both of these humans on edge. "Humans..." He muttered. On that thought, the girl didn't smell like a human.

Kaori Takeda

'No pictures,' the female investigator said, 'Oh, no problem,' said the male. Kaori's wide eyes flickered between the two and she chewed on her lip as she checked to see if her text sent. "Actually, I was just texting my roommate... he works at the coffee shop just down the street a bit," she explained, but then again, she knew she didn't need to say that, it just made her seem normal. Kaori thought it kind of smelled bad but at the same time, flesh was flesh and blood smelled like wine to her. Naturally, though, she would never partake of ghoul meat unless absolutely needed to survive, and even then the ukaku ghoul was sure she wouldn't even enjoy it! As the male K bumped into went to lead her away, she quirked a brow and followed, not sure if she could just turn and go to the shop anyway or if it would be more acceptable to walk away from the crime.

Kaori frowned when he called her a klutz but she HAD run into him, after all, and raised her voice in a quick
"I am not a klutz," before piping back down. He seemed sweet enough, rather ordinary but a decently mannered person to be around, his clothing told her that he was not an investigator and his posture told her he was more of a laid back, lazy guy. K chewed her lower lip and sighed deeply. Minding her own, she meerly thought to herself, wondering who could have killed another ghoul at this time of day in this ward. To her knowledge, there were no cannibals in the area, nor were there binge-eaters, but then again, the small female kept to herself and didn't have many friends outside of her roommate and his boyfriend.

As the guy, no more than a few years older than herself, named himself Issei, Kao looked up at him, now walking by his side.
"Takeda... Takeda Kaori. Just Kao is fine, too." Kaori was fully invested in studying Issei's face for his reaction and response when she ran into someone... again. This time she didn't fall on her ass but instead got a nice whiff of a ghoul, his smell rather... odd. Looking up, nearly chest to chest with the new male, Kaori's face went white. This was not an average Ghoul and no doubt he was problematic with his attitude so she backed up a few steps, dawning a tipical grimace in fear for humans.

'I'm sorry, do I know you from somewhere?" she inquired, Kaori's jaw clenching as she wrapped her arms around herself defensively.

Issei Aoyama

Slowing his pace ever so slightly to let the girl catch up to him and without really thinking shoving his hands back into his pockets again, Issei listened to the girl's introduction. "Oh, where are my manners. Aoyama, Aoyama Issei. That's my full name." Ever since he was little, Issei had always been a little bothered introducing himself to people with his full name, but he'd also found that people found it rude when he didn't. "Kaori? Pretty name." He mentioned as she reached his side, but as history was bound to repeat itself, her next action was to bump into another person. A rather rude one, at that.

"Hey!" Issei raised an eyebrow at the abrasive man. "First you're being more creepy than I am, then you make some shitty jokes?" He was a quite tall man, with medium length blue hair and a cigarette sticking out of his mouth, and Issei couldn't shake the feeling that he was sad on the inside. If it wasn't for being on duty, he'd most likely ask the man if he was alright, but his duty took over. "Is this man bothering you, M'am?" He mechnically said to Kaori. He didn't feel very affected by the sudden outburst, but he was concerned about why the man acted like he did.

"Excuse us, would you?" He said to the stranger, put a hand on Kaori to steer her behind him as they passed him, protectively. He kept his eyes on the man while walking around him, and then he glanced back to Kaori for a moment, but his previous warmness was overcome with a cold professionality. He just needed to escort her to the end of the road so she could take another way around the crime scene, and he'd be good to go.

Itsuko Tengami

"Well it looks like the CCG isn't up to date on its files. I've seen you cleaning up my food before." Itsuko spat at the man, completely ignoring the rather short female ghoul. "Your some sort of police officer so why are you trying to play it off smooth? On a note of self preservation, jokes like that will get your stomach ripped out. I'd do that to the both of you right here like the idiot a ways back but you have too many friends around." He explained in the most dawn out way he could think of. The man drew the girl past him and an idea occurred to the ghoul. If he could somehow get in the man's way he could provoke the man and other CCG officers. "That should work..." Itsuko muttered under his breath.

He back flipped over them and landed in the middle of the sidewalk, carefully crushing a civilian's head beneath him. "Tell the idiots at headquarters to update Blue's status to highly dangerous." He said with a tinge of satisfaction in his voice. Somehow he was feeling safe in this situation. Maybe it was the rush one gets from killing, but this was enjoyable. It was obvious he was a Ghoul at this point so drawing out the CCG would be easy. Itsuko bent over and picked up a tiny piece of flesh from the human he had just killed and dropped it into his mouth. Swallowing it was the only point Itsuko smiled at through that whole process. Licking the residue off his lips and closing his mouth back into a frown, Itsuko slowly drew out his Kagune. A human near him hadn't run yet so he quickly stabbed an elderly man, ending him as fast as possible while not moving.

The whole event was going as planned. No Ghoul interference had occurred yet, but this was all going so perfectly that something like that wouldn't be too worrying. Itsuko would escape with one or two bullets in him or a limb cut off and far more humans dead. Usually his plans involved him eating the human he killed earlier but that never happened. This time he shouldn't have expected to get his food though. It never worked out that way. "Two minutes..." He muttered unhappily. This particular Ghoul who tends to annoy people now found himself stuck in moral conflict. Does he kill everyone here, or just a few people? It may seem like an unusual question but to Itsuko this was daily life. That was what he loved about his life. The sick and contorted reality Itsuko lived in was enough to satisfy his sick mind.

Kira Heart

It was a good afternoon or was it evening Kira never really kept track of the time he was running around on top of rooftops to get around the 12th ward since he had to move with his brother do to 'complications' but it was all good to him. So he kept running around until he found some investigators on a case nearby and watched them figuring out a case.

Kira was on a nearby rooftop watching yet another CCG case they were people that hunted ghouls because ghouls have to eat, and they blamed all ghouls because some we're binging a lot granted he was a binger to but hey at least he could barley control himself. But humans they were the most dangerous things they force anything that they define 'not normal' and say its dangerous trying to kill it relentlessly so he sighed.

At his sigh a giant snake popped up it was one of his nine rinkaku that was a black and green serpent, he petted it saying "don't worry no one spots me...and if anyone did I could at least protect myself" he said smirking a little as he watched the humans trying to figure out what happens, it looked like a couple of them were arguing with each other and that was funny to him so he chucked as he sat on the edge waiting for his brother to meet up with him.

(Sorry for the short intro I'm kind of busy a lot)

Kaori Takeda

Kao sighed as she witnessed the interaction between the two men, their intensities setting her off a little, shoving her into defense mode. The girl was fast, but maybe not fast enough for this Ghoul to not catch her... he was obviously a binge eater and a strong one at that. Kaori wasn't sure what the guy with blue hair meant by 'officer guy' because Issei seemed pretty normal.

Then everything changed when Blue pulled a big fat no and killed two people before K could react and tell him to fuck off. Immediately her mouth began to eater, her head pounding with the instict of eating, the blood filling her nose and choking her. The kakuhou between her shoulders began to ache, eyes straining to stay normal. Kaori sucked in a deep breath, a gasp, as she tasted the iron in the air. In a split decision the ghoul female faked a gag and turned tail, dashing the opposite direction of the binge eater, panting as she struggled to intake fresh and clean air, turning back into the street that was closed off.

Kaori zipped past three investigators like she was on fire, not daring to look back as she bounced over a blockade and zoomed into the coffee shop she originally needed to get into. As soon as she hit the counter she begged for her roommate, whimpering as she rushed to the attic, boy was taking stock. Kaori hid up there with her roommate for a while after that, just trying to wait out any fight that ensued to stay out of conflict, out of outing herself.

Reouroku Takeda

12th Ward

Roku lowered his gaze to the curb of the sidewalk he stood on spotting a beetle of considerable size, and he decided to crouch down to pick it up examining the small brown insect. Allowing it to crawl up from the palm of his hand to the tip of his maroon fingernail. The carapace of it reflected a few rays of the sunlight onto the bottom frame of his glasses. The beetle turned to face Roku its mandibles seeming to try and chatter to him, but his little rant about how he was being picked up and bothered was gut short by a nice breeze causing the beetle to reveal its wings and take off with the current off elsewhere. But with what the wind took from Roku it also gave him something else splendid, it was the ever tantalizing scent of blood, and it wasn't just one source. He took in a deep breath closing his eyes for a moment looking upwards feeling the warmth of the sun wash over the profile of his face. When he reopened his eyes he felt them twitch, it was obvious they were trying to change but he controlled himself accordingly. His feet started moving below him the moment he heard the feint click as the sign switched from stop to walk.

However this walk seemed to be going faster then he seemed, perhaps it was because he was now sprinting, and soon enough he wasn't even on the ground anymore. He was in fact on the rooftops so he'd get a better vantage point of what was going on, perhaps he'd find something of interest. In all honesty he enjoyed messing with other ghouls over humans simply because ghouls are more of interest than humans are. Doves are of slight interest but Roku never toys with them unless he has too..or they are a Quinx, those "Grays" as he calls them due to their one eye turning gray.
Its something about those hybrids.. He didn't finish his thought as he finally came upon the scene spotting the dead body but that wasn't all he smelt he could smell three other ghouls among the humans that were in this specific area. The sweeter scented ghoul was sprinting in the opposite direction from where he detected a rather loud individual. Blue. Roku heard of him and thought of him as more of a nuisance than a ghoul, abusing his "gifts" as Roku described the Kagune. He had his own little code that most don't follow but himself, seems useless but it allows him to speak his mind around others. Again his mind drifted off again into nonsense and his internal babblings. He decided swiftly after he regained his mind that he should intervene, the man before Blue had a odd scent, but he couldn't tell if it was because of the blood of ghoul and humans flowing through the air. Perhaps the girl had been with him long enough of to rubbed off on the man? No couldn't be.

Reouroku leapt from the building landing with his back to the non-ghoul and was facing Blue with his head down still at the moment his hair drifting over just far enough over his eyes to cast a shadow. Upon looking upwards there was a sly smirk on his face as a finger crept to push his glasses back to the bridge of his nose causing a glare obstructing the view Blue would've had of his Kakugan. However with Reouroku's sudden appearance the feeling of dread began to fill the immediate area. The type of feeling that makes your hairs stand on edge and your side to twinge insisting you second guess what is going to happen.

"Blue."

Kira was on the rooftop watching the people fight when he looked up into the sky...it looked like it was going to rain with all the rain clouds.

"*sigh* it looks like it's going to rain well better get back to bro huh" he said as he got up and groaned a little because he was tired from bingeing a little while ago.

As soon as Kira got up his snake dissipated into thin air and he started walking across building he could jump from one to another with ease since they weren't that far to him, but soon enough he was running since he was impatient and all that could be barley seen on the ground was a blur. so as soon as he could sense a ghoul nearby he guessed it was his brother based on how much killing intent there was so he smiled.

"Looks like bro is having fun without me now that's not fair" so as soon as he found the alleyway he jumped on in still with that smirk saying.

"Bro what are you doing without me again" as he stared as his 8 snakes were forming little by little sense they were ginormous.

Issei Aoyama

As soon as the man behind him left the ground, Issei's hand tightened around the Quinque beneath his trenchcoat. Not a single muscle moved on his face as he heard the crack and saw the blood of two innocent civilians spread across the scene. He'd seen it too many times to care now. Kaori had quick reflexes, and started running as soon as the civilian stopped moving, running away from the ghoul quickly. One of Issei's eyes followed her for a moment, but she was outside of the dangerous area before he had to act. "Maybe we'll see each other again." He thought for a split-second, before he turned his attention back to the ghoul.

This ghoul was terribly cocky. Showing his face off, murdering civilians in broad daylight. Right next to a crime scene investigation. Within 20 seconds Issei would have at least 50 guns loaded with q-bullets and at least two other Investigators with quinque at his side. "Highly dangerous is far from the same thing as stupid and careless." He calmly noted to the crazed ghoul. Little did he know the storm that was incoming.

His ear twitched and he glanced up to the roof tops as two shapes flew off separate buildings. With a flash of light reflected by the sun Issei's trench coat flew open and Askia spun into his open hand. The first one landed in front of him, turned towards the other ghoul, and the second one landed a few meters next to him. "Blue." The first one stated, looking to the blue-haired ghoul. "Well, that's a straight-forward name." He thought. He had a calm demeanour that spread confidence in the area. Unsettling, as usually the ones who acted like that were the dangerous ones. "Bro what are you doing without me again." The second one said. This one was also showing his face without bothering to equip a mask, and his rinkaku was peeking out.

Issei didn't show a single hint of emotion, but he was ready to move at a moment's notice. So far he had a bikaku to face, so he was on equal grounds with him. He only needed to be better and he'd be able to beat this one. Then there was a rinkaku, and a weaker looking one at that. Askia would easily be able to take care of that. Then there was the final ghoul with an unknown kagune who looked and acted more dangerously than both the others.

Hopefully back-up will be here soon.

Akane Sonada

Akane had her phone pressed to her ear even as she watched the interaction between Issei and Blue from within the crime scene perimeter. She had found it amusing that Issei, the Night Terror according to some of her former classmates, was escorting a civilian to safety, but she didn’t give it too much thought—at least, until she heard the screams and saw Blue. As soon as the blue haired ghoul showed up, she and her fellow investigators did their best to clear the area while others went to aid Aoyama. Unfortunately, there were still some casualties. A pained expression crossed Akane’s face.

“SS Ranked Ghoul Blue spotted along with A Ranked Ghoul Black Lion and another unknown ghoul,” Her eyes were locked on the ghouls even as she contacted her superiors. “Requesting immediate assistance at District 12.”

“Rodger that. Doesn’t Blue normally hunt solo?”

“I don’t know, but I’m going in to help First Class Investigator Aoyama.”

“Alright. Don’t do anything too rash until—,”

Akane ended the call. Blue had been a thorn at CCG’s side for far too long. Akane’s opinion of the blue haired ghoul was mixed though she had only heard about him from her superiors. She disliked Blue for obvious reasons. He was a ghoul. He was a Binge Eater. He had no respect for life, humans, or authority. However, unlike other disgusting ghouls, he did not hide his face. He faced his enemies head on. That earned a little respect from Akane, small though it was.

Opening her suitcase, she drew forth her two quinque, Gungnir and Aegis. She had a feeling she would need both. Leaping across the perimeter, she stepped beside Issei and leveled her spear at Blue. In her left arm was a shield.

“Returning to the scene of the crime, Itsuko-kun?” Akane asked, using Blue’s real name to irritate him. With Blue’s face revealed to the world, it wasn’t difficult for ghoul investigators to discover his identity. Especially since Blue seemed to do everything in his power to get himself noticed. Akane didn’t actually know if Blue was the one who killed the ghoul…but it would make sense given his binge eating habits and his cannibalistic nature. “You’re a suicidal one, aren’t you?”

Her eyes flicked towards the two other ghouls. “I didn’t think you were the type to have friends…but that doesn’t matter. I won’t let you monsters take any more lives.”

Akane burst forward, her shield in front of her and the point of her spear aimed at Blue’s midsection as she attempted to skewer the ghoul with a single thrust from her quinque. With Aegis—her brother— protecting her and Gungnir as her weapon, Akane had no fear. Rank? Kakuja? Those things meant nothing to Akane. She would do everything in her power to kill the ghouls that threatened humanity...or die trying.

Zero

12th ward

When zero jumped down he noticed there was another investigator there, he didn't notice at first so he looked at roku a little bit before he looked and saw the investigator. He really didn't like how the investigator reminded him of himself being emotionless and all so he was thinking "oh so we are going to have fun now" so Zero started to materialize his Ukaku behind one of the miterialized snakes just this one could cover his lower body so that was a advantage.

As zero started to look the enemy another one showed up...a female and by that smell a Quinx he hated them how they tried to be both species, so after he looked the girl up and down he said
"Oh so now there are two" and this one had a attitude to she just downright insulted ghouls calling us monsters and rushing forward towards roku. "So she has a Ukaku and a bikaku I think...just a perfect match up for a fight" he said as he rushed toward her to block her saying "like I would let you".

As soon as he got in front of her he sent one of his massive pythons at her shield to see how strong she was saying. "you call us monsters when you killing a species if we don't eat we don't live...isn't it just like how you treat pigs, cows, chickens, and such animals like that" he said in a monotone voice as he put his mask on meaning he meant business now that he was fighting.

Itsuko Tengami (Itsuko speaking is this. His Kakuja speaking is this)

Itsuko barely noticed a female investigator that had been quietly watching his little stunt but was completely thrown off. "Returning to the scene of the crime, Itsuko-kun?" She asked him before revealing her Quinques and unloading another rhetorical question into his thick skull. "Well, I'm pretty much a kid and you just gave me the attention I needed, so thanks..." He retorted in an attempt at a come-back. He had never been good at dealing with certified badasses and this woman one certainly one of them. "Anyways, it looks like this will be a fun play date," He began, playing along with his childish theme. This woman knew who he was, which was at least comforting. But that wasn't on the foremost of his thoughts.

The two most confusing things to the psychopath at the time was that Black Lion showed up and that his Kakuja was beginning to wrap itself around his neck without being ordered too. The second Kagune as Itsuko referred to it as, had a mind of its own. It was truly insane. It drove Itsuko past his usual cocky and lewd nature to a downright monster. It physically hurt to control his body while the Kakuja was active so this time, Itsuko would let it have a joyride. It slowly covered the rest of his face and began to cover his arm and chest. That was more than usual... His most recent meals had helped somehow. Just before the sticky mass enclosed his head, Itsuko uttered something to the Black Lion. "I'm going to need you to beat the shit out of my Kakuja once we are done. Does that work for you?" He asked the Ghoul. He had encountered this man a few times and had grown to respect his strength. That was, without his Kakuja active. If the man could sit still long enough and then kill the Kakuja, everything would be fine.

But then again, nothing about this had been fine. Itsuko hadn't gotten to finish his lunch, he was going up against around six people, his Kakuja had finally beaten him and he needed help to control it. Not even his Kagune would be able to help him. It would completely ruin his reputation as a psychopath and put him in the level of some of the crazy old men who wound up in Cochlea. Itsuko never fathomed being on the same level as those idiots. He may be clinically insane, a murderous cannibal and a jerk, but those people were worse. Even Itsuko, yes, Itsuko Tengami, had standards. They may be low, but those animals were not even worth eating and he would be on the same level as them. He would wind up in that building full of bats who were kept alive to be tortured, beaten and exploited. Nothing lower than dogs. They had no pride as Ghouls. They had no respect for themselves. If Itsuko could take pride in anything about him, it would be his pride. But soon, that would be all over.

The Kakuja began extending further than he had ever fathomed. It took over his right leg, his left, then finished enclosing him. Itsuko suddenly felt a searing pain as he was ripped back into his body. In a moment of pure astonishment, he looked himself down and one single tear rolled from his eyes as he came to terms with what happened. He had completed his Kakuja. He had control. The one thing he never had in life, he now had. He felt the power of the shiny black skeleton pulsing through him. He looked up and began laughing hysterically. Now he was truly stronger than anyone he ever looked up to. All standards he had, we're now void. Everything was off. Everyone was food. "Food. Food! Food! Food!" He screamed as he began to run in the direction of the investigators. His Kagune was under his Kakuja's control, he was under its control and now it was controlling others. His power had more than doubled with the completion, but it wasn't enough for the Kakuja. It needed more. It would feed until it was full, then it would keep eating. Lunging at the woman who was prepared to fight, the Kakuja shot clear past the lion, an unidentified ghoul and the first investigator. The Kakuja had no plan. It had no strategy. It had no standards. It was the embodiment of what people believed Itsuko to be, but it was much more. It would not stop. It would not leave. "I will stay!" It screamed.

-- Kabo note: I am gonna be gone for about eight days at a camp and if anybody wants to play Itsuko x Kakuja (I just came up with that) you can fight with each other over who wants to be with my fabulous character in the OOC section. Whoever gets him, PM me. If nobody wants to, just beat him up and make him run away. I'm planning on killing Itsuko at a later date once I have another character ready. --

Haigara Keiji

Haigara Keiji: The Origin

Location: Not McDonalds -> Crime Scene

@Aqua @Phantom King

The sky's so bright, but the future's so dark.

Perhaps if Haigara Keiji was more of a pessimist, or if he was feeling particularly poetic that day, he would've said something foolish like that. In a way though, it carried its own truth. Nary a cloud in the sky obscured the brightly shining sun hanging over Setagaya, the 12th Ward of Tokyo, Japan, but even on such a lovely day, there was some really ugly stuff going on. After all, rules of nature dictated that predators seek out prey. Humans are considered the top of the food chain, but there are beings who hunt them as a food source, monsters who consume the flesh of dead humans: ghouls. With the largest population of any of Tokyo's 24 wards, it would make sense that many ghouls would choose to make this part of the urban jungle a hunting ground. And with the presence of those ghouls, it would make sense that the CCG would send in their best to take them down.

'...I'm not the protagonist of a novel or anything...'

Unfortunately, Keiji wasn't any sort of CCG elite; he was just a Rank 3 Ghoul Investigator, even lower than an 'average' Rank 2 Ghoul Investigator. He had very few credentials, no anti-ghoul weaponry, and little proper field experience. Hence the reason he was not at the scene of the crime, and instead busy hanging around the Shimokitazawa district, purchasing affordable yet edible take-out from a fast food restaurant. It was a thankless job, maybe even one assigned to him out of spite, but he figured it was in his best interests. He could solve a puzzle and maybe put a ghoul into a jointlock, but he wasn't really one for fighting or investigating or any of that. Keiji checked the time on his phone. 'Should probably start heading back soon,' he thought, putting the device back into his pocket and taking a step forward in the line-up, eyes scanning over the menu of a certain red and yellow fast food chain before moving down to look at the cute girl manning the register. "Hi!" he began with a smile, "I'll have the..."

'...I'm an average guy with average morals, like you could find anywhere...'

"Thanks!" Keiji chirped, taking the brown bags of food off of the counter and exiting the establishment. Now that he had gone to his last stop, with his head held high he made his way down the street and to the parking garage he'd left his car in earlier. Now, Keiji had had bad experiences with parking garages in his recent history, but he figured that that wasn't any reason not to give them the benefit of the doubt. Besides, it's not like every single parking garage had a ghoul waiting to pounce on some unsuspecting passerby. Add the fact that it was midday, and you had yourself a safety sandwich! If you discounted any incompetent drivers and reckless pedestrians, that is. He unlocked the car and unceremoniously dropped his bag in the shotgun seat before settling into the driver's seat. It was time to head back to the crime scene.

'...But...'

Considering Keiji was about to unknowingly approach a veritable kill-zone, it wasn't a long before Keiji encountered something odd on the road. It wasn't like a hit-and-run or a 16-car-pile-up. It was more like a bunch of cops getting people out of the area. Mostly because it was a bunch of cops getting people out of the area. This wasn't exactly an odd occurrence, considering he was nearing a known crime scene, but did people really need to evacuate this far out? Keiji would have tilted his head like some character out of a CLAMP anime, but he was a good, law-abiding driver. So instead of being a hardcore rebel and peering over the crowd to see what was up ahead, Keiji just called over an officer to question.

And then he peered over the crowd to see what was up ahead. One, two, three. Even a child could count the number of ghouls, all of a pretty high Rate if the officer was to be believed, surrounding his associates, and was that was a frickin' kakuja among them?! Damn. His poor, take-outless associates and their quinques had quite a fight ahead of them. Even as optimistic as he was, Keiji wasn't sure of his allies' chances. Now, if he had a quinque, maybe he would've helped them out (he would), but all he had was two bag of take-out and a car. What could he do?

...

"Officer, can you please clear the road?"

'...If, for argument's sake, you were to write a story with me in the lead role...'

Keiji kissed the tips of his fingers and placed them upon his car's dashboard. "I'm sorry," he apologized as the pedestrians parted before him like the Red Sea. "But this is the way it has to be. It pains me, but I will be sure to honor your sacrifice." A single, manly tear rolled down his cheek. He was not, however, weeping for the fate of his car. He had long since accepted that this rustbucket had lived long past its expiration date. No, he wept for many other things. For his reputation, for the rise of his insurance rate, for the collateral damage he was about to inflict on a poor building, for the disappointment of his parents. For those and more, he would weep. But never for this piece of crap car.

"Now then..."

One hand took the pair of sunglasses hanging from his rearview mirror, placing the shades over his brown eyes. The other rested on the the top of the wheel, fingers drumming against leather. The car revved up once. Then twice.

'...It would certainly be...'

Keiji leaned back in his seat and laughed. He took his foot off the brake-

"Here goes nothing."

-and slammed down on the accelerator.

'...A hardboiled detective thriller.'

...

'...Well, maybe that's not exactly right.'

It was over in a second. There was the sound of squealing tires, then a mighty wind and a metallic streak, and finally one great big

CRASH!

One second the kakuja known as 'Blue' was pouncing on Sonoda Akane, and in another he was gone. In his place was a cloud of dust and debris concealing what used to be a familiar-looking vehicle laying in ruins against a shattered wall. The air was filled with the stench of burning rubber, metal, and maybe even a bit of flesh.

"*cough* *cough* Holy shit! I didn't think *cough* that would work!"

That was odd. The sound emerged not from the rubble, but... from behind the ghouls?

"Waitwaitwaitwait! Don't-don't turn around! I haven't thought of a badass oneliner yet!"

There he stood, clad in a white trench coat. In his hand was a greasy brown bag, and on his face was the dorkiest pained grin of all time.

"Well shit. Umm..."

He rubbed the side of his cheek sheepishly.

"...Sorry to crash the party...?"

...

"It would be better if you guys just let me think up something cooler."

Asami "Yami" Mizushima

Location: Coffee Shop, near the crime scene.

Asami sat down in the coffee shop near one of the windows so she could look outside as people were passing by at the moment. Her eyes going over the people who would pass by the window, doing somewhat at people sightseeing as she had nothing else to do for the moment and this seemed to be the only way to pass her time for the time being. Slightly waiting for someone from the CCG to call her to do a useful job but she had not heard from them for the time being so she just took a break and tried to set her mind on something else so she would not die out of boredom. Her finger would make circular movements on the table as she took a sip from her mochaccino which had a heart drawn into it before but it had now disappeared as she could not resist from drinking of it. It warmed her up inside as if she was sitting by the fire at a cold winter day. The corners of her mouth turning upwards as she thought about it. Maybe some mine marshmallows would fit with it even more though she did not want to bother the employees of the cafe too much with her demands so she just stayed put on her seat.

She adjusted the dress that she was wearing as it was all in wrinkles which she had not noticed before her eyes spotted it once she looked down. Taking a few seconds of her time while she did that before it was laying prettily again. She supported her head on top of the palm of her hand as she twirled her haid with her fingers from her other hand. Clicking her tongue as she let out a sigh. Wondering what the other were doing right now at the CCG, maybe they were patrolling or something more fun was happening at the moment which could release her from this state. Though there was this feeling inside of her which made her somewhat reluctant to go outside of the coffee shop as she knew pretty well that she was not the only one inside of her body and that person could go on quite the rampage if she was released from her grip. However, only certain triggers could set it off luckily which made it easier for her to walk around without having to worry that the other her would take her over. Despite her not having that much ill intentions to the people she liked but more toward the ones that meant to do harm to one another.

Groaning a little as she remembered what happened previously when her other self, also called Yami, took her over and went on a rampage once she found herself in a dangerous spot. Being cornered by two ghouls when she did not expect it at all and being harmed by them to the point where there were some wounds that should not have been taken lightly at that time. That was when Yami took control and fought of the ghouls to the point of almost giving it her all and fainting. However, Asami reappeared and found herself in an alleyway with blood staints on the wall and puddles on the ground. An arm laying on the ground while the body was laying some distance further away from her. It was the shock of her life as that was the first time she became of her other self for the first time which happened a few years ago. It took some time to accept herself because of all of it but they started to respect each other as time passed by making it easier for both of them to live their lives.

Issei Aoyama

"Speak of the devil..." He thought as Rank 1 Akane Sonoda appeared at his side with her two Quinques brandished. He didn't move a muscle and the tension of the situation only increased with her presence. With certainty in her voice she called out the name of the blue-haired ghoul, a move that made Issei smile. "At least someone keeps track of things around here. Gotta cover up for me somehow." Itsuko seemed bothered by his colleague. Perhaps Akane and him had had a previous encounter? Issei was well aware of her fighting skill and powerful Quinque combination, but she was still his junior. He'd have to be responsible for whatever she did here, while under his protection.

Long before an opportune moment to do so arised, Akane shot off with her feet and charged directly for the unstable ghoul, Blue. Issei frowned. If she was going to get them both killed by being reckless he was going to murder her again in the afterlife. However, seeing as she was the one with the larger weapons and more convenient ways of protecting herself, letting her go in first and then peel them off of her, slaying them one by one while she kept them at bay could definitely work. The weakest-looking ghoul with the green hair and the Rinkaku almost instantaneously reacted and smashed his Kagune into her shield, upon which Issei took two quick steps forward to just behind her.

Just before he got ready to separate the snake from the rest of his Kagune, Issei noticed a much larger threat. Blue, or whatever that ghoul's name was, was forming a Kakuja. Askia could most likely cut it fine, but there were other issues with Kakujas. For example, higher rates of RC cells building up in the veins for increased regeneration and speed. Issei stopped his attack against the green-haired one, and spun around Akane to focus on the Kakuja. He was charging towards them at breakneck speed, but if he'd step too close...

But then... boy, this day was just full of surprises. A familiar roar of a crappy motor echoed through the scene, and out of the corner of his eye Issei noticed an even more familiar sight. "... Keiji." The enraged Kakuja disappeared in a puff of smoke as the car crushed itself against a building and taking the ghoul with it. Frantic coughing coming from the other side of the ghouls made Issei's mouth twist into a faint smile again, and as quickly as he could he took a step forward and launched himself into the air, flipping across the battlefield. He landed next to Keiji and raised Askia in a defensive position. "Glad to see you lived through that. And don't worry about a one-liner, you've done enough."

Then, suddenly, the kindness in Issei's expression disappeared and was replaced with dark intent. "... But you're still late." He said in an eerily calm voice.

Itsuko Tengami

In accordance with Kabo's absense

Itsuko was long gone, his Kakuja swallowing him almost completely. Blue still had a reigning conscience, what little was even there to begin with, while the kakuja took over his body and made a charge for the deliciously scented investigators. He knew all the kakuja wanted was blood and food, food and blood, just like any kakuja before him and with the intensity of it, Itsuko was not sure he could place the rampant second mind under control. As his feet carried him forward at an alarming pace, Blue didn't realize the car speeding toward him only to slam into his side with a terrible force, ripping through the armour and flesh on the arm closest to it... his left. The kakuja squirmed around him, angry, seething, and him mind flooded with the pain of a severed arm, glass shards digging into him in several places and bricks crumbling all around him.

With a great heave, the ghoul threw the car off of him, blood pouring from his wound. Itsuko fell to his knees and wretched as the kakuja must have realized it was outmatched for now, the armour of it seeping away. With a roar, Itsuko bolstered a growl at the investigators, struggling to get up. God, his arm was on the fucking ground. This was disgusting. Composure. He had to gain
composure. He couldn't let them know that they pissed him off so easily. He was supposed to be irritating them, stupid humans.

As the one investigator who hadn't drawn his Quinque came to the side of the driver and pointed a sword at Itsuko, he knew he wouldn't be alright enough to beat down these shitty little birds. Growling and weak from sudden blood loss, Blue gathered himself to stand, coughing a few times and glaring.
"Don't think... you have seen the last of me... wretched humans," he spat before taking his leave, darting off past the green haired idiot and, with what seemed like ease on a severely shattered ankle, taking to the rook tops for his escape. Itsuko was going to be a spell before he could exact his catty revenge on those investigators. And! And he would eat them. All of them. And they would probably be disgusting.

Kaori Takeda

Kaori was holed up in the attic with her roommate, still trying to wait out the fight when she realized that she couldn't stop thinking about Issei. Hopefully the male was safe and unharmed and Blue or whatever wasn't munching on his arm or something. No, it was better not to think about it, better not to want to get involved. Kao rubbed her hands together as she walked around the store room, examining different coffees and spare glasses they had. When a loud crash resonated through the walls, Kaori was sure the coffee shop had been hit by something downstairs. As she and her roommate ran down, they came to see people were looking out the window expectantly. Kaori, without thinking, moved a chair from a two-seater table to get to the window, her breath clouding on the glass.

They couldn't see anything from here, the fight was around the corner that she had originally ran into Issei at, her heart thumping at the memory of the encounter. He seemed so nice, maybe he wasn't too bad that she couldn't make one new friend. Hopefully she would see him again if he hadn't gotten caught in that fight. Smoke began to billow up from the side of the building closest to the main street, the shops' collective thoughts going to what it could be. Kaori didn't drive, so she had no idea it could be smoke from one. She imagined that maybe the ghoul had busted a fireplace exhaust somewhere, a lot of the buildings had them around here.

Kaori sighed, hoping everything was okay, but there was also no need to fret because she was sure either the CCG would take out the binge eater cannibal or he would take them out and either way it was a win-win for Ghouls, just one more threat eliminated. As Kaori stepped away from the window, she looked to her right and saw a woman sitting idly in the other chair. "Ah, I am so sorry, ma'am. Did I disturb you?" she asked her with a gentle but fake smile. Kaori didn't really care about if she had, but it was human-like to suggest that she did.

Akane Sonoda

Akane grunted as the giant serpentine head slammed into Aegis, digging her heels to the ground to keep her body from being shoved back. Peering from the corner of her eyes, she could see Issei stepping up behind her, ready to cut the snake head clean off the Kagune. Too focused on keeping herself from being eaten by the giant python head, she hadn’t noticed the Kakuja forming…until it pounced at her.

“Goddammit!” Akane swore.

Fortunately, Issei had noticed the Kakuja and was already prepared to face it…Crash!

Akane blinked in surprise as Blue was rammed by a car and smashed into a building…hopefully deserted.

“What kind of crazy guy would--”

Then Keiji’s voice could be heard from behind the ghouls.

“Oh…that kind of crazy guy.” She watched First Class Investigator Issei flip over the ghouls to protect Keiji who didn’t have in quinque…and reprimand him. Akane had sharp ears for a human. Rolling to avoid the python’s fangs, she swung Gugnir, swiping at the creature’s eyes even as Blue left the battlefield, swearing vengeance against humanity.

“Oi, Mr. Night Terror,” Akane called. She didn’t know anything about Aoyama, but she’d heard all kinds of stories from her classmates that worked with him before. “You can lecture him later. We still have ghouls to kill.”

Akane faced the unidentified ghoul with green hair. “Looks like your friend ran away.” She grinned at the ghoul that attacked her, though there was no humor in her eyes. “That’s right. We’re killing another species in order to protect our own. Your species eats humans…and only humans. Therefore, to humans, you’re monsters. Deal with it.”

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

The sound of gunshots filled the air, as the CCG investigators at the crime scene, who were too shocked by the events to do anything remotely useful, gathered their wits and fired Q-bullets upon their targets.

Reouroku Takeda

12th Ward ---> Coffee Shop

Reouroku watched the scene unfold before him with a particular eye for detail, the sudden appearance of the other ghoul he smelt wasn't much of a surprise. He had helped the boy and treated him much of a younger brother, perhaps a reason he was referring to him at 'bro' in this particular moment. Though it'd be best to leave any relations out of conversation when dealing with the CCG. For if they know that much its much easier for them to bait the rest of the family out or play psychological games. However this was Roku's strong point. Even as Zero spoke to him Roku remained motionless just staring at Blue for moments even after he spoke not giving him much of a response besides a feint snicker possibly only Issei would be able to hear. Then came the forming of Blue's kakuja, but much less forming as it seemed to be taking over his body in fact on its own whims. Roku really wasn't planning on using his kagune in this encounter and with what was clearly forming before him he was going to have to. From behind he heard a loud mouthed investigator who's he's watched before on different occasions some being he wanted to keep a tab on most Doves but he's also thought of eating her plenty a times before. After her brief exchange of words with Blue and Zero the skirmish had began, Zero and Akane came to a stalemate for moments while Blue was rushing to devour the female.

SKRRRRT.

That was all he heard before followed by a crash and a scent of more ghoul blood filling the air, Roku didn't bother turning till the debris from the crash seemed to settle down. The moment didn't surprise him too much, but he was rather thankful he enjoys keeping his kagune a secret from the CCG and hopes to keep it that way. Upon staring at the car crash he heard a few muffled coughs followed by a witty line that make himself grin. Within moments Issei was by the car not even moments after he had cleared from it all and came into sight. Perhaps he was a sibling? No Haigari was Issei's dog as words could put, or student in a more formal sense. The real question was did Roku feel it'd be urgent enough to stay and clear the things of it all out. Blue was fleeing, Zero was fighting and there were multiple CCG soldiers moving in on their position with Q bullets most definitely. The situation didn't look well but he wanted to know why the man with the blade smelt so odd, his curiosity was pulling him like a dog on a leash who's master was oh-so-persistent on them going in his own set direction.

Tsk.

Roku came upon the decision when the enclosing soldiers arrived and started firing after the two ghouls who were now surrounded. It's time to leave and now would be a good time to go if any. With a final gaze stuck upon Issei and Keiji he took off to the left towards Akane and Zero as to by Zero time and give Akane a new threat. By the time he arrived by her he was in the air hovering for a moment his hands in the air open for a strike through her neck, however he'd go to chop at her neck with enough force to cause a minor disruption in her spinal cord to cause the brain to shut-down for a split second and for her body to go limp. Then the shots began to ring out from all around, they were shooting to kill to of course as it was how they were trained. If his strike on Akane was successful or not he did not give himself time to wander or even attempt a re-do he was now between two of the firing soldiers who had only a second ago had their sights fixed on him while he was infront of Akane. Now their view was upside down and shock filled their body before it actually realized what happened, he snapped their necks with such force that their chin was now right side-up to the sky. Roku would crouch for a moment taking a final glance back before taking off into the air and making his escape through the roof-tops heading towards one of his favored places.

Mystic Cabrellea

Mystic was in the area at the time of and accident, but she was also there a bit before it happened. She had watched the events unfold, she paid little attention to the humans. She was watching the ghoul. It surprised her a little when the ghoul got hit by a car a got hurt by it. At this point she began to watch the ghoul more carefully, she was assessing his injuries from a far as that ghoul was probably going to be her next target. He was not as strong as he first appeared it seemed.

She crossed the road looking left and right like a normal person. The reason she was crossing the road was to get to the coffee shop, where loads of people were gawking through a window at the car crash scene. “So pathetic” she mumbles under her breath at the whole incident. She then walks up to the counter and asks for a cappuccino coffee with lots of milk. As she waits for her coffee she looks around her at all the people in the shop. When the coffee was done she began to sip it slowly. She was just standing there leaning against the counter watching people.

(I wasn't sure what else to add so i hope this is okay. @BirdFeathers my character is in the same coffee shop as your character, thanks for the help and suggestions by the way.)

Issei Aoyama

The calm Ghoul snickered, and Issei kept his eyes trained on him. Akane was still locked in combat with the weaker ghoul, and Blue had already taken his leave. “Oi, Mr. Night Terror,” Issei's eyes jumped from the ghoul to Akane then back again for a split-second at the mention of his unusual nickname. "Hm?" He mumbled. “You can lecture him later. We still have ghouls to kill.” He smirked, and let out a "Hm." He admired her fiery ambition, and Keiji should know as well as himself that he wasn't quite so serious about him being late. He was about to continue talking and give Keiji instructions when he was distracted by the calm Ghoul's gaze. He was staring right at himself and Keiji in a way Issei didn't quite like.

The sudden rain of Q-Bullets across the scene pulled seemed to smash reality over both his and the ghoul's head, and suddenly he shot off towards Akane. "Shit." Issei exclaimed and dashed towards her in a vain attempt to protect her. The ghoul's hand connected with her neck, and suddenly her body went limp. Before Issei could attack the ghoul he'd already gone and dispatched two of the soldiers firing at him. Instead of pursuing him, Issei threw an arm around Akane's waist and quickly pulled her away from the last ghoul. He held her behind himself and put his thumb against her neck, feeling for a pulse. Relieved, he found that she was still alive, then raised Aska between himself and the last ghoul.

"Do as your friend and run if you don't want to die." He said in his most threatening voice. Two soldiers were already dead. Two soldiers with a family and a life of their own. Issei wasn't naturally hateful of ghouls, in fact, he believed that they had no other choice than to kill for themselves to live. However, that ghoul, who was clearly strong enough to escape without causing harm, had just killed two people without the intent to eat them. It was inexcusable, and for once a small fire of anger raged in his heart. He was more than ready to kill this ghoul on the spot if he decided to try to attack the helpless Akane.

@Aqua

Dru woke up in the small hovel he was squatting in for the last few months. Dru looked out the window and enjoyed the sun streaming through it. He closed his eyes and assumed the lotus position and began to meditate. He could feel his urges like a chained beast struggling to break free. Dru was going to have to eat soon today maybe tomorrow at the latest. Dru didn't really think that he could hold off much longer or find a ghoul in the short time he had to eat. Dru opened his eyes and took a shower before getting dressed and stepping outside. Dru was wearing a hoodie with black shorts on and used his hand to shield his eyes from the glare of the sun until they adjusted then he took off in a random direction hoping to clear his mind and keep his hunger pangs at bay.

Dru was looking for a job half heartedly to allow him to pay the measly rent for the place he was currently living if you could call it that anyway. Dru was ready to up and move again maybe to the second ward but it felt right being here and so far that was enough for him to stay besides the food here wasn't that bad. Dru had been walking for a few minutes and came across what was probably a tourist, they had a map out and even had a fanny pack Dru chuckled at how easy this was going to be and ignored the little voice in the back of his head about how wrong this was and proceeded to talk the poor confused man into an alleyway where Dru used one of his tails to take the man's head off and moved further back in the alley with the body to consume kid kill. Dru ate as fast as he could and as neat as he could. It didn't take him long to finish his meal and when he was done he used his tails to climb the building and sit on top of it and stopped watching the skyline and coming to terms with what he had just done.
