(My bad thought he had it.) Kala nods. "Alright let's get the book"

"Yeah so I been trying to find out more about the jewelry box on the page he was reading when we tore the book and at first I couldn't find out much but then we got a shipment of books from an estate sale." Misty said taking out a small book from her bag

"Right now there's just one problem. Its protected. While most of the Lovecraftian monsters are actually quite nice in their regular physical forms people have found ways to conjure less nice versions."

"I see" she nods. "So is it protected by a monster or a spell?"

She tossed the book to him, there was a blue bookmark marking a page. "This book had a picture of the exact same jewelry box as the one horde wanted"

"Probably both." Jace said.

"Did it?" He asked opening the book and skimming the page.

In page it showed a picture of the jewelry box and it said around a century ago back when magic wasnt as out in the open, there was a mage who was known for creating guardian wards. They were wards that could be anything from a ring to a small statue that were made to protect specific mages when activated. It was said his greatest creation was his final one and he locked the key to it in a jewelry box that once belonged to his wife another mage who was his assistant in making these wards. Misty nods. "Yeah he wants what's in the box I'm guessing. Took some searching through some old newspapers at the library but I got the name of the mage."

Jace took some chalk and started to draw a circle on the ground large enough for both of them.

"Sounds like a nerd." Scout said tossing the book back. "I'll help ya find the thing."

Kala watched him draw the circle.

"Well thanks. In my research I found out the mage's house is still around. It got turned into a museum. Figured it would be a place to start searching." Misty smiled putting the book in her bag. She stood up and started cloud surfing.
