Oh for sure, I haven't even heard of some of the hottest fandoms today. I've found myself gravitating towards more and more original rps over the years; the fandoms I rp are fandoms I rp'd way back when and haven't really changed at all.

For sure! Honestly, I typically only reuse characters if I can feasibly say that the roleplays could take place in the same world. So for example, I might originally play a character while he was in his teens but then in another roleplay, if I can rationalize it, I'll play him in his thirties...

A lot of times, roleplays don't last as long as I'd like them to so I will carry the character with me if I like them enough and try to work them into a future roleplay. Feels like a waste otherwise! It works as an iteration process, too!

Dumbo was tragic enough as a cartoon movie, I don't need to see an adorable CG baby elephant in horrible, awful situations. Also, live action Sonic with muscular human legs and no pants seems really off to me.
