Whelp, doing it again today but staying late. At work through 6:30 PM, whee!
Home in one piece. Seriously, roads were flooded 6-8 inches. Had to wait in that lot for an hour. D: BUT it's all over now. :3 Ahh, Houston.
Well, good news is that when the road-tide recedes, we can see the median curb again.
Right. Sitting in the raised parking lot of a scrap metal yard watching the road flood. I REGRET MY HOPES AND WISHES.
So I've been waiting, like, 8 hours for apocalyptic floods...and it's all blown north. DAMN IT.
Just going to periodically update this, I guess. Currently darker outside than it was when I came in...at 6 AM. Love it, though...
Watching the flood reports popping up /surrounding/ the city...just waiting for them to start within...
6:30 AM, at work with massive flooding storms headed this way at 9 AM. Let me go hoooome, I don't want to be stuck here!
Tearful amounts of money later, I've got Witcher 1-3, Sonic Racing, Shadows of Mordor and Dark Souls on tap. And more storms coming. SEE YA.

Damn weather and damn city and damn, I wanted my way into work to be flooded today...
Supposed to flood today. Again. Lets see if I can leave work before the storms hit...points for living in a high elevation neighborhood?
