If you need some ideas on what to include in your introduction to the community, you can mention:
  • Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.
  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
  • Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.

You can use those prompts or just introduce yourself as you wish to the community.

While we are happy to have this thread help you meet and make new friends, please remember this isn't the spot to converse about roleplays, in-depth conversations, or taking over the thread with ongoing chit-chat. ;3

Hello, I'm 29 years old, she/her. I'll stick to only writing with people over the age of 18. I used to RP on tumblr, (on and off for 10 years) but that community seems so small now that I decided to try a new place!

Lately I've been thinking of RPing Lylla from Guardians of the Galaxy. See if I could really develop and expand her as a character. I have a lot of ideas, though I haven't written out her page yet! It would be fun to play her with any of the GotG characters or even other Marvel or misc. characters, but it would be awful silly if I never found a Rocket... so let me know if anyone here writes him and is interested!

And let me know if there's a way to find partners who are willing to use discord. Though I should probably be fine figuring this site out, and I'm open to writing here as well. I will add a more detailed post under 1x1 interest checks when I have the time and am not about to fall asleep (☞ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)☞

I'm Angela, I'm 22 years old and I go by she/her pronouns. I've been roleplaying for almost 8 years on Quotev but unfortunately, the site has been not only deleting roleplaying groups out of nowhere as of late but some people are getting their accounts deleted in the process. I've been trying to figure out where else I can go and a friend of mine recommended this site! I will admit that I don't know how everything works but I am a fast learner so if someone could help me out, I would really appreciate it. I usually roleplay fandoms and do oc x canon, and I'll set up an interest check on the fandoms I'm into at the moment once I figure out how to set that all up. okay so like there's actually good things to say here, I'm just super socially awkward.
I mostly write in lowercase (except for RPs of course that's just weird, which I'm not. at all.)
I have this weird thing where I love skipping lines, apparently, because that's something I do, I guess
Gee you learn so many things about yourself while quickly scrambling to come up with something both quirky and fun to say that also doesn't make you come off as a total edgelord
 
hi, sin here! i've been on rpnation before and was an avid roleplayer, but i grew tired of it at some point. i've been itching to get back into it simply because of the connections i made and how exciting it was to create a story; it ignited my love for writing. probably why i'm back!
