Nope viirune I think you have described it perfectly. The biggest issues with any open world is people taking their hands off. A gm is the game master they are the architect and builder of the world. they need to both design the world and bring that design to reality which means having hooks, quests, and need for the heroes otherwise not much of a good story. even the best writer might have a hard time writing superman works all day at the newspaper cause their is no crime.
 
Hia! I'm Charmed, im 21 and I'm just recently getting back into role-playing! It's definitely been a few years for me. I've been role-playing for about 8 years now, but haven't really been able to find any good places to roleplay. I used to use Fearal front back when is was 16ish.

Anyways! I mostly roleplay guys, ranging in personalities and such. My replied are at the least a paragraph long if not longer. I'm open to pretty much anything, but have recently been leaning towards the more 'dark' side of writing.

I'm also open to Fandom rps! I'm really into My Hero Academia, Stanger Things, Harry Potter and Divergent!

Feel free to let me know if you have any ideas! I'll be making my own post in the request forums shortly. It's nice to be here and I can't wait to get started!

The names Xany, I'm 18 and recently got back into doing some nice rp and found this site and decided to give it a shot!

I mostly roleplay female characters and my writing is highly detailed, I prefer doing some nice fluffy wholesome rp, I recently got into My Hero Academia but I am also into Warhammer and Warcraft.

Hello my name is lex i use any pronouns and i’ve been rping for a good good while 😅 like 2015 starting off with dragon ball z I’m wanting to get back into the groove again. Now i’m an adult and therefore I’m wanting to rp with people 18+

As to what i do, I’m wanting to pick up warrior cats again with my new ocs! I’m also down for some fire emblem maybe possibly the lion king that ones a big maybe though. I prefer simi-lit (at least) and third person style! That’s about it i think! ☺️

(If we end up RPing together on a different site or application, I’ll probably end up giving you my real name since I’ve probably shared it on that site anyway.) I use he/him pronouns and I’m a sophomore in high school. I’m a huge coffee addict who reads more than breathes.

Here is some random information about me:

• I started roleplaying in elementary school and I’ve been writing, worldbuidling, and developing characters for as long as I can remember. I’d say my favorite genres to write are dystopian, fantasy, and contemporary.

• I love D&D! I’ve been labelled as the “forever dungeon master” by my party. I can never seem to decide if I’m a nice DM or not.

I am 20 years old, suffering in university (I am majoring in english and history) and a cosplayer.

At the moment I am absolutely obsessed with the book "The song of Achilles" and therefore my greek mythology brainrot is going strong :D

Howdy! You guys can call me Ellie. Please use he/him or she/her pronouns for me. I've been roleplaying for upwards of 6-7 years, but this is my first time setting foot in a site like this! I'm very nervous but very very excited.
My main interest in the realm of roleplaying is my original characters, but I am also into: League of Legends, Red Dead Redemptions (1 + 2), The Last Of Us, World of Warcraft, Warriors, and an assortment of other video games. I'm a huge fan of angst and hurt and other darker themes, but I also enjoy balancing it out with some nice fluff.
My goal here is to eventually host a longterm group rp or two, but I'll have to get comfortable first :) but I am SO happy to be here! Don't hesitate to reach out to me :)

Hello friends! I’m Via and use she/her pronouns. I’ve been role-playing since 2016 and hopefully continue more in the future.

I can’t say that I stick to one genre in particular. My RP plots tend to be a hodge-podge of sci-fi, fantasy, action/adventure, and modern. I enjoy going on a creative journey with my partners. It’s fun to see how things turn out, don’t you think?

On the fandom side, I love taking world building concepts from open world games like Breath of the Wild, Skyrim/Elder Scrolls, Cyberpunk, etc. I also dabble a little into superhero universe with Marvel and DC. I really enjoy watching comedy anime like Saiki K, Ouran High, One Punch Man, Spy x Family, and Dr. Stone so it would be awesome to see those tropes and funny elements in the plot. I’m pretty much an open book when it comes to fandoms because I have a lot of interests in everything, everywhere, all at once!

I really hope to find one or two long-term partners whom I could share my passion projects with. I actually find ooc chats so helpful because it really builds a good rapport and friendships with my partners. Random tangents are the best!

Outside RP, I’m a mama to two fur babies - a sweet rabbit and a hyper Frenchie/French bulldog. I love learning about languages and I’m ambitiously trying to learn both Spanish and Japanese. I also play in a slow pitch league and unwind to reality show cooking/baking competitions. Nice to meet you all!
 
Hey there! I'm Auri, I'm 16, and I use they/she pronouns.

I've done some forum-based roleplay sporadically over the past few years, and I recently started playing D&D 5e. I'm new to this site though, and I'm really excited to try it out!

Outside of roleplaying, I have quite a few interests. I love video games - I have a lot of favorites, but some of the games I've been playing most recently include Celeste, the Pokemon series, Undertale and Deltarune, Hades, and Breath of the Wild. I'm also super into the performing arts - I study music theory, and participate in musical theatre productions with my local theatre studio. I really love video game music in particular - I even compose and produce some cinematic/orchestral sountracks. I have the tendency to write characters and scenes based on pieces of music, and I love relating music tracks to things that are happening in my roleplay games. (Nerd alert, I know.)

I'm not really looking for anything specific in terms of roleplay threads. I originally joined the site since one of my off-site RPs is likely getting a reboot here, but I'd also like to participate in any other roleplays that I find interesting. :D

Super excited to get started on here :)
