Hi, everyone! I'm matchavelli (it comes from my love of matcha tea and Machiavelli)! I used to be really into roleplaying but the site I used to RP on changed and not for the better so I quit and I didn't roleplay for a long time, but since I like writing and roleplaying helped me improve my writing, I decided to look for a new roleplaying site and I was led to this one. I'm definitely rusty but I'm eager to explore a passion I once had here on this site.
 
Hullabaloo and howdy doo! Sup Ya'll, names Gloom. I have fluctuating depression so I think the name suits me. But I do feel joy, happiness and whatnot. But depression always shows up and is my constant friend. It taught me not to care about most things. Which led me to Dudeism and I became a priest of the church latter day dude, may we all abide. Though my god is and always will be Cthulhu.

Anyhoo I got into RPing when I got into my little pony and became a brony. But during a long time without internet my feelings toward the show died down. It still holds a place in my heart, but I'm not that into it now as much as I was. But the fun of RPing still lingers within me and I'm itching to get back into it even though it doesn't involve ponies anymore.

And so I found this place and thought it looked interesting. I hop I get to use my imagination once again.
So I hope to make some new buddies.

Hi everyone! I'm new to rpnation but I've roleplayed various things for a few years now. I like various roleplays. Outside of roleplaying I love listening to music and singing. I decided to join rpnation because I enjoy roleplaying and would like to here! I'm excited to roleplay with all of you!
 
I guess I fit the criteria now...
I'm a relatively well-weathered roleplayer. I have about 5 years of experience and can easily adapt to different styles. Personally, I like writing detailed descriptions and well thought out but natural dialogues. I really enjoy romantic topics and the development between characters. I initially started RPing on a website called "Scratch" but have been off of it for a while. I missed developing a story with another person and the fun aspects to RP, hence, I decided to become a part of the RpNation community.

i go by wraith or chai !! nonbinary, they / them please. i've been writing since around 2010 ( maybe earlier ) && i've been on plenty of different sites, such as facebook / tumblr / twitter, but never in an rp forum like this. i'm 100% a goofball && very friendly to chat with, but i tend to be somewhat selective with what i choose to write, because my inspiration fluctuates alot. i'm currently into chinese drama fandoms, such as ❛ mo dao zu shi / the untamed ❜ && ❛ eternal love / ten miles of peach blossoms / three lives three worlds the pillow book ❜. i'm open to discussing threads in different fandoms, providing i am somewhat familiar with them, with the exception of dragonball, for personal reasons. i'm very oc friendly, but i'd like to be provided with at least some information of your oc, prior to writing. so that i know who i'm dealing with. my favourite genre is ANGST, but i enjoy fluff, romance, horror && some heavier themes, in the range of horror / gore, etc. idk if that's permitted or not, but if it is, i'm down for it !! i prefer to write with users 16+ at least. outside of roleplay, i do a lot of artwork && gaming. i have discord, but i prefer not to give it out, unless we've known each other for a while.

i tend to format all my writing, thanks to my long years of writing on tumblr, but i really don't care if people ( don't ) want to do the same. i value the quality of your response, above all else.

If it wasn't obvious, I'm new to this site but I am not new to roleplaying. I believe I started on Instagram and somehow managed to move my, at the time, mediocre skills to smaller sites. I've lurked on amino in the hopes of finding a decent roleplay group to settle myself in yet, the atmosphere wasn't exactly the most welcoming.

So here I am! Hoping to make new friends and have fun while I'm here.

Hey, I'm Ems/Emma. I've been rping for a little while now and I really enjoy it. I'll pretty much write anything from one-liners to 800 words; I generally have no preference, just that the rp is enjoyable. I use discord mostly, but trying to discover other places to rp, so I used this :)

Greetings to all wonderful and creative people! My name is Lucian, though you can call me whatever you seem fit, and I have been roleplaying for around three to four years or so. My favourite sort of roleplay would be set up in a fantasy world, be it medieval, modern or something completely different. I also enjoy roleplays that are slice of life, adventure, romance. Ah shit well here we go, I’m not the greatest at introducing my fine self (I’m kidding I’m kidding) but to start you off with a little bit about me I’ve been roleplaying for about three to four years now so I’d like to think I’m quite experienced with it (Plus I'm a big writer and have been doing that for as long as I remember). To say the least of what my interests are when it comes to roleplay is literally quite expansive, when I tell you I like all genres and settings I seriously do like it all, it’s so hard for me to pick just one though of course to be cliche I’m a hopeless romantic so yeah call me a little suker for that shit. Of course I have many things outside of role playing such as sports (I love working out and just friendly competition that comes with that) my time just consists of working out, reading/writing, being a little addict for coffee, and the big shocker? ‘Sleeping’ god I love sleeping. As for why I joined this place I honestly just stumbled upon the site and decided to sign up, plus you bitches seem hella fun so I dig that, and of course for my love of roleplaying. SO there you go, that's just a little bit about me and what I do as a decent human being, feel free to hit me up and be friends. I promise you I’m not some bitch I’m quite chill to be honest.

I just joined this site, because I don't have anyone to RP with, honestly, I used to but since after a huge amount of drama happened I wasn't able to Rp for a while! I really enjoy adventure and fantasy-like roleplays, I have OCS that have themselves in a fantasy-like world, I don't wanna get into too much detail about their lives and what they do in the roleplays I do, but I will note it is adult-themed, not sexually but in gore like way, if you are fine with gore like features happening in an RP, then I wouldn't mind you dming to RP, I do long rps so if you RP with short texts like ' *hugs* ' I wouldn't be interested, I lobe having a story! Instead of it being sorta dry in a way, it doesn't feel the same if you understand what I mean! I am also looking for friends if you wanted to be!

When I was younger, I used to RP on sites such as Animal Jam, Club Penguin, etc. I haven't done a roleplay in years, so I'm probably more than a little rusty.

I just started writing at the beginning of the year, so it's gonna be awhile until I'm confident enough to post my work here.

Ever since I was young, I've always been fascinated with the idea of completely immersing myself in a fictional world where I could be someone else, so I've always looked for ways to escape reality. I'm not 100% percent sure what I'd like to roleplay, but I'm thinking that I'd like stuff on the more darker side of fantasy. I'd also probably prefer group roleplays.

So far I like it, having a dark theme is already a massive step up.

Hey guys! My name is Stephanie and I’m twenty-three years old. I have been roleplaying since I was in middle school (during the good old days of Quizilla), so around ten years. I love to write but find it much more fun and motivating to write with someone else! I mostly do fandom rp's, but I do occasionally do some originals if I have a good plot! I currently prefer to rp over email or discord but I'm willing to give this site a shot if that's what you prefer! I also love animals! I recently (ish) graduated college with a degree in Equine Science and can never be upset around a horse. I have two super shy & sweet guinea pigs that I love to share pictures of and hope to have more pets in the near future!
 
Hey hi hello! I'm 23, I live in the US. I've been roleplaying for roughly 13 years, on and off :closedeyessmile: Most often I find myself involved in non-fandom 1x1, however I've done everything in between, and I have an affinity for the RPs that last months or even years! I do not like to create "OC"s before the RP, I typically develop new ones for each story. I'm a sucker for a good historical setting, and for slow-developing romance plots and gritty settings. I will happily take on roleplays in the form of foum posts, emails, PM, discord, google docs, facebook messages, anything really :) I love to write multiple paragraphs, sometimes even multiple pages depending on the RP. I tend to be social and like to get to know the people I RP with! Looking forward to getting involved with this new community and forging new paths!

And social interaction takes place here, as well as the personal discussion subforum.

You see a bar at the top page, which says general discussion while in this subforum. You select whatever is behind that tag to reroute back to the other pages. You select the site icon/logo in the top left to go back to the main forum.
