David here, moving forward with an introduction to you all as I’ve finally decided to stop lurking the last hour reading through threads and commit to my inauguration here. *brave I know*
A little about me?
You’ve twisted arm I guess...
I’ve been Rp’n since 1999! Wow, *feels old* from all sorts of mediums; D&D tabletop, chat based, forum-story-type, vocal Rp, and finally, MMORPG’s.
I typically venture towards Fantasy based or Sci-fi based Roleplays, but I find interests in all sorts of themes.
In recent updates, I've been MIA in the RP realm due to my new job as of last year, it’s requirement to be enthralled in immense work hours I’ve had until recently as now I’m on a 8 hour day schedule, which feels like minimum days. *whew*.
What Do I plan to get out of having an account here?
I want to make some interesting acquaintances, maybe to be pulled into great stories and new mediums of Rp, (instead of ESO)
And the only additional uniqueness I bring is that I often bring in an auditory RP bonus with my reports or journaling, as I Voice act, a hobby, example <—. From July 2016
Thanks all for keep this community real! I have RpmmoRadio (moment of silence since they’ve stopped recording) to thank as they would mention this forum quite often. Hope to pass by and chat with many of you soon!
 
Well, here I am.
The name's Opal. A steady roleplayer for a few years. Adopted the persona of 'grim reaper angel' after ascending to that state in a homebrew D&D game with my ex. We're still friends, and tend to play games and some D&D together-he's a really good DM. I'd consider myself semi-lit to literate. I love music, creepy themes, and thrillers.

New here, but not to roleplay. Just been out for ages and probably a bit rusty.
Looking to get back into writing because I love it, and I'm hoping to get started on some novel projects of my own. This place I hope will help me to lubricate my writing skills so I can make that dream happen. As well as find cool people to hang with of course!
Fantasy fanatic, MMORPGer, tabletop DM, plushie snuggler, witch and lab rat are all titles that sum me up somewhat succinctly.
I will for the most part be typing on my phone, so forgive me the struggles inherent.

Hey :) I'm 100% new here at RP Nation. The last time I roleplayed was when I was about 15 years old, I'm now 20 and miss it a lot. My favorites at that time were Harry Potter roleplay, One direction roleplay, romance, magical, really anything except horror. Outside of this site I'm going to graduate in about a year to become a publisher/editor. I joined RP Nation because I miss my creativity and really want to explore my mind again.

I'm not super experienced with RP itself. I used to play with it a few years ago and since then I've grown a lot in my story development. The area I am best in when it comes to a good story is the character itself.
  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
I prefer fiction. Science fiction and historical fiction would restrain me with my lack of knowledge in those areas. I prefer a world that I can move my character around in and create the setting as I see it in my mind's eye.
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
Piano, leatherwork, dance, shooting, drawing, reading, costume design, self defence, and I'm starting boxing.
  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
My other group had a lack in numbers and not many people were doing RP on the system. I didn't get much action with my characters so I decided I should try another site.
  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
I have two cats and a dog. My cat's are Raven(4) and Jack (14) while my dog is Poseidon (2). They are all wackos. Raven has brought me many dead critters (including bats) and Jack is fat and incredibly loud. They are so lovable though. Poseidon is a spaz and has been known to be scared of snowmen and seashells.

My first boyfriend broke up with me 4 days after the aniversary of my father's death. That day my town had a power outage for two days, the rest of my family had gone on a trip, and outside was a howling blizzard. It was also my first time being home alone for a week.

I lost my pinky toe after digging in the garden and accidentally staking it with the tip of the shovel. Just a knob now.

I have 9 grandparents still living.
 
Hey, hey folks. I've got more than a few years roleplaying, I remember doing so on AOL. Sshhh... I know I'm a bit older but hey it's about writing, isn't it?

I generally like fantasy and Sci-fi settings. I've been on a Game of Thrones kick recently. The books, not the horrible show. Oh, and there is Batman. If you come to me with a historical roleplay, I would say yes. Roman Antiquity anyone?

Also, I ask for a bit of patience. I'm a father to twin two-month-old boys. So my schedule can be hectic
 
hey, i’m astrid! i’m not new to the site and i actually have another account, but i made this to start fresh i guess? which hasn’t really worked out all that well especially when i end up disappearing for months at a time haha.

i’m a college student with a bit more free time as a result of everything going on, so i figured now was as good a times as any to reignite my love for roleplaying!
 
Howdy ya'll! I'm StrawberryTulipe ((or just Tulipe for short)) and I come new to this website after hearing my partner rave on and on 'bout it. So here I am, dusting off my shabby writing and my sub par communication skills in hope to make somethin' wonderful with all ya'll!

I would have to say I'm still very much a novice to role playing, but I have been doing it off and on for like . . . idk . . . 11 years or so? But I often write my own stories in private and always have weird "ideas" in the making! ((most of them coming from dreams!))

I like to write romance for the most part especially stuff around lbgqtia+ realm just because its a big part of my life (( and I like to watch chaotic gays go on chaotic adventures)) . . . so honestly I'll just about do anything as long as there is some "romance" and a lot of lbgqtia+ themes!

I'm just a chill dude hoping to try out some role-play because it sounds pretty interesting. Never tried it before but I'm willing to learn and grow and have fun. I love imagining myself in fantastically situations and I want to come here to RP them out with like-minded people.

Hello!

One of my favorite hobbies is roleplaying which includes things like text-based writing such as Forums and Private Messages, writing over MMOs such as Final Fantasy XIV to enjoying Table Top Roleplaying games such as Pathfinder, D&D & Fantasy Flight Games. I have and still do DM a few games, though I have played in a lot more. That being said, when it comes to text-based writing I enjoy doing so free form.

I spend most of my day on Discord, mostly talking with friends. Though I also enjoy listening to Audio Books & watching Travel Vlogs on Youtube.

Outside of writing, I enjoy things like painting Warhammer models, listening to music, reading books, being outside. While I do play video games, I don't do it often though I enjoy games like Banished, Dawn of Man, or games I can play with friends.

I also enjoy forming healthy connections with my writing partners, communication is always key.

Hello! I've been rping on and off(mostly on) for the past 10+ years. I love anything historical related. That is my #1 go to. I don't mind modern day rps and will do some randoms although I prefer original characters. I dont have many hobbies outside of rping. I am a wife and mother to four kids so they take up the rest of my time. Loving life! I've joined RpNation to find a rp buddy who has the same interests as myself.
