Now that I have a bit of time, I thought I'd try to pick it up again. I really enjoy rps with fantasy and/or supernatural themes. I look forward to diving in!
 
Hey everyone! I'm new here, basically hailing from another website- but I'm excited for what this website will bring! You can call me Bats, but if you think of another nickname that revolves around my username, go ahead and use it. I've been roleplaying for years and have interests that are very wide when it comes to themes- but I mostly look for 1x1 or a good fantasy/dystopian theme. I hope to make lots of friends as well as many memories with the things we will create together! :ghostv:
 
Hey there, I'm Sacred, previously known as 'AHHH' and other names. (Hopefully my name will change to Oath by the time I post this.) I'm pretty sure this account is ancient and I've introduced myself a couple times now, but I'm trying to get back into roleplaying. Due to work and school it's been hard to find people to roleplay with, but hopefully returning to this site will prove to be helpful. I usually do 1x1's but I can do a group if the group can function properly. I'm mainly literate, but I can go down to semi if needed. I'm not looking for romance in roleplays because I believe it cripples the potential, so unless romance is a very lowkey subplot, I probably won't be willing to do it. Please feel free to contact me! I'd love to hear refreshing ideas

Hello all!

I suppose I'm going to show my age here, but I was drawn to this page from googling about where I might find some old comrades from my AOL role playing days; back in the late 90's and early 2000's. That's where I started, in the good ol' chat based rooms where there was never a dull moment.

From there my role play endeavors switched to World of Warcraft where I dove into the lore of Blizzard and created several characters with various backgrounds.

Fantasy and text role play is usually what I am drawn toward and given the wonderful environment that appears to be fostered here, I thought I would give it a go.

I'm looking forward to meeting all you fine folks and hopefully discovering several new story arcs.

Hello all! I came here once I realized that FeralFront was closed (I had been a FF member since 2015), I used to mainly do art trades there and don't have a lot of experience with roleplaying but I'd love to get into it. I'm an artist and what makes rp sites like this attractive to me is all the creative character designs. I love music. I'm 16. Some of my favorite medias are: The Magnus Archives, NBC Hannibal, Good Omens, Over the Garden Wall, Doctor Who, ATLA, She-Ra. I like mushrooms hence the username :-)
 
Hey, everyone! I've been creeping on ya'll for a few weeks and decided to register, so "holla atch'ya boy" (utilizing my urban parlance).

I've been role playing since I was just a starry-eyed adopted son of Uncle Sam. Fell in love with it when I played my first fantasy persona at fifteen and, like a gateway drug, it lead me into advanced literary role playing and tabletop gaming. Lived the life of an actual adventurer for a good ten years (though IRL adventuring is less about epic battles and elf maidens, and more about getting lost in Greece and sweating in subtropical climates), but now as a regular NORP, my adventure comes from tabletop game design, working, and writing.

Got over a decade of experience, been a long-time member of three sites (my favorite being the old D&D Online Games), but said three sites aren't offering me the crowd nor the tools I'd like to run the games how I want. I am almost exclusively a GM.

Hello RPN! I am OblaanBo, an experience roleplayer who has played for many years and have managed to get to the point of being able to rp at a literate level. I normally rp through discord, but decided to give forums a try as I have found that they often host more literate rps that go at a slower pace rather than the very fast pace a real-time chatting app provides. I hope to be able to make a ton of new friends through here. You will most often find me playing as my white dragoness Lilly (not the dragoness in the picture. I found that through google and filtering for images that are free to use. I am using that as a placeholder until the ref of my character has been finished so I can switch it out), in mainly dragon centric rps, but I do branch out into other species, monsters, aliens, etc every once in a while when the mood strikes me.

Now to let people know a bit more about me, here are my answers to the suggested questions. It's much easier to do this, than to think of questions myself. So here we go.
  • Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.
    • I have been roleplaying for about five years. I have be on a few different sites, like DeviantArt, Discord, and other random sites that have piqued my interest. I have grown as an RPer from quick, sentence long responses, to the point where I can easily make a multi-paragraph response.
  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
    • I love doing dragon-based rps. Even though dragons are obviously fictitious, I still think they are fascinating. Their fictional nature means that there is no one way dragons look, giving people the freedom to create whatever they want, instead of being confined to certain criteria. They are very diverse and I love seeing what other people are able to come up with. I also like monsters and aliens as well. Fantasy settings are always great, by sci-fi can also be very fun.
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
    • I did martial arts for numerous years, and even though it is technically a roleplaying game, I also love DnD. I've been a player and a dungeon master, and I can't get enough of it. I don't do DnD anywhere near enough to sate my hunger for the game.
  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
    • I decided to join RpNation because I wanted to try out a forum RP experience, and this forum isn't restrictive, it's active, and it seems to be quite friendly. I hope that I can have a good experience RPing here.
  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
    • I do have one, two actually. I have a small dog and a puppy, both are the same size, and both females. One is black and the other is a golden color. I haven't actually met the second one, as my family got it while I am at college, but soon I will be able to meet her. She looks adorable.
  • Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.
    • Hmm... Let's see what I can think of for this one...
      • I am a very avid skier, but for a couple of years I snowboarded.
      • The first dog I had throughout its life was a female named Luna.
      • I did martial arts for eleven years.
    • The lie is the second one. The first dog I owned throughout its life was actually a male golden retriever named Titan. Luna is the name of the dog that I haven't met yet.

I like to role play casually and been looking for a place to do that. I’m into a variety of animes like Seven Deadly Sins, BNHA, Fairy Tail, etc. as well as Transformers. Just looking for some fun and chill rps

I have been roleplaying for years and was looking for a new community of roleplayers to join

I have been roleplaying for years and I joined this one because I think it will be a good RP place.
Also I am a Gears of War and Star Wars and Elder Scrolls fan.

I tend to prefer literate roleplay, but a few grammar mistakes aren't gonna kill me. It's nice to meet you all and I'm excited to get started! ^^
 
Heya! I'm Loly, I've been roleplaying for about 10 years. I'm almost 21 years old and I definitely fancy romance rp's! I'm nonbinary and go by they/them pronouns, I'm a proud LGBTQ+ member! I have developed many OC's over the years and done shallow rp's all the way to in-depth multi-paragraph rp's. I'm excited to join this site and make some new friends and roleplay partners!! :P
