Hello! I am Ziotsu, but really I respond to just about anything as long as I know you are trying to talk to me. People tend to use Zio but eh. I am currently 24 years old with a full time job so I am not on too much during the day. I am going to start with the two truths one lie cause I think I got a good one.
1) I can play expert+ songs on beatsaber
2) I learned how to drive stick shift before I learned how to drive automatic
3) I own a coin from 1922 that has been passed down through my family for generations
  • Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.
    • I have been roleplaying on and off for about...ten years I think? (I was in junior high when I started and I am now almost 24) I started roleplaying back when Foopets had a roleplaying forum-which was quite a while ago. That being said, I haven't done an actual roleplay for about a year now (I started some but they never took off past the few few posts so I don't really count them) so I am very rusty and my skills are probably not that great despite the long time I have been doing this.
  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
    • Off this is a hard one. I tend to gravitate towards the more supernatural/fantasy sort of setting, but tbh I find myself interested in all sorts of things. I tend to steer away from 'character A falls in love with character b' with no other plot outside of that. (IE: 'character A is the neighbor to of character B' is bleg, but 'Character A is the neighbor to Character B but A doesn't know that B is the villain that they have been trying to stop for years' is my current favorite think plot. Generally it will be a slice of life with two characters but the added bonus of the hero/villain gives me a lot more to work with)
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
    • Video games, I play a lot of them and am probably joining this site at a time where I might disappear for a week playing animal crossing lol.
  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
    • My old RP site is pretty much dead for new roleplays. The current running ones don't accept new members cause they already have too many or they just have so many pages it's nearly impossible to jump in. Any new ones that pop up don't get a lot of traction and don't last longer than a day. So I needed a new site. So google. So here I am.
 
Hi! I haven't been roleplaying for very long but have had on and off interest in it. I'm not completely sure what genres I'd be interested. Probably Fantasy roleplays, but I'd be happy to try other things. Outside of roleplay I really like musicals and books. I decided to join honestly, just because I was bored and I think this will be fun. I don't really have much else to say, hope I've done this right.
 
Hey everyone!

To be honest, I found RPNation while searching for writing prompts, as I am an author, so to say I am new at this is an understatement. I've read many and wrote many fiction based books though! I love anything really to role-play, details are appreciated, and just creativeness (Of course what I expect of others, I expect of myself as well!)... Magic is also one of my closest loves. Outside of RP, and writing, I farm, ranch, learn random facts about anything, sing, dance, listen to music - I'm pretty wide diverse in both what I like to do and RP!

Joining RPNation in hopes to expand my creativity!

Hihi! You guys can call me Violet or Vi, I've only been RPing on and off for about 5 years though I am looking to get back into it! I enjoys 1x1 rps more than group ones and usually write around 3 paragraphs if I can. I enjoy most RP genres but really enjoy romance and fantasy! Hopefully my time here will be nice <3

    • I've been roleplaying (both online and tabletop) for over 15 years. I've mostly moved to doing tabletop games, but I'm quite interested in trying my hand at more sustained online roleplay.

    • I'm... pretty much here for anything? I guess I'm a bit picky about fandom roleplay. I'll probably favor group roleplay (rather than 1-and-1).
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
    • My primary hobby is tabletop roleplaying, but I enjoy mask making, boardgaming, videogaming, and outdoor adventures.
  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
    • It seemed like a good time to look into getting back into online games. ^_^

    • My roommates are watching The Sentinel right now, I'm a rogue in a 5e game that has run for over 3 years, and I have spent over 200 hours playing Slay the Spire.

Hello! I'm Arryn. I've been roleplaying for at least six years now. I fell out of touch with my last rp partner, who I wrote with for years, because I got really busy and overwhelmed with school. Things have settled down now and I want to get back into the habit of writing and roleplaying on a daily basis; it's a creative outlet for me that I miss. As far as the specifics of rping go, I'm not super particular about genre or setting; I play just about anything. A few of my recent favorites have been slice-of-life, fantasy, and dark humor/horror retelling. I tend to get absorbed in character and setting creation; I love complex character arcs and deep, detailed worlds. Besides writing and rping, I like to read and journal in my spare time. I have a dog named Scout who's a 60-pound baby and cuddle-buddy extraordinaire.

The name's Sash, but I'll go by any nickname as long as everyone's comfy.

Enough years of age to realise that adulthood is a social construct and turn off the cussing when kids are around. Hobbies include origami and basketball - tons of paper wasted on little writings and drawings of mine get folded in hand-sized balls and slam-dunked into the trash can.

In terms of roleplay - a platonic drama queen, a fantasy memelord, a sucker for action. Post length measures in text blankets, as I like them long and heavy (on dark themes or just on details - a matter of preference).

Overall just a fun fellow to talk to, so if anyone feels like chatting while I'm off to compose a recruitment thread, hit me up.

(I'm a non-native English speaker, by the way, but I bet you noticed. Europe. Ask me about count Dracula and the cheapest fine wine there is.)
