Powers/abilities: Possesses knowledge of some powerful magic.

Weapons:
Grethmerj: This is an extremely powerful sword imbued by ancient magic. It is nigh indestructible, and can cut through almost any non-magic protected material. It gives its user increased strength thirty-fold. It also protects his mind from most forms of corruption, and control. The sword cannot be stolen for it has bonded to Ren’s spirit., it can return to his hand from any spot in the world. (Kinda like Thor’s hammer).

Weaknesses: Ren is powerful, and deftly skilled with a blade but there are some things even this mighty warrior cannot best. A quick magic attack can catch him off guard, and leave considerable damage if it is sufficiently powerful. Even surprise physical damage can send him flying. He can be incapacitated.

Backstory: Ren’s early life is a mystery even to him but he grew up in an orphanage, until he reached his teenage years and ran off into the wilds living as a woodsman. He did sufficiently well until one day he found a magical blade known as Grethmerj, it wasn’t long before he was found by a wizard known as Zoarra, who taught him to use the blade, as well as some simple magic. The two set off to a threat that could end their world as they knew it. This adventure led to the creation of the Guardians of Varadell, who did many courageous deeds with Ren instituted as leader.

Immortal: Gaether is completely immortal, he will never die. If damage is sustained he will quickly regenerate.

Weapons: A pair of blades on a chain.

Weaknesses: Though Gaether is immortal he can be restrained, knocked unconscious, and his healing can be slowed by magic. He won’t die but he won’t be able to instantly heal from damage either.

Backstory: As a child Gaether was enchanted by his mother to live forever. The spell also sped up his biological age to his mid-twenties. This spell came at a heavy price, Gaether could not feel anything. Joy, fear, friendship, and anger were all alien to him, he never stood put. Becoming a wanderer, a mere weak later. He would’ve held his inability to feel against his parent if he had the capacity to do so. He moved from place to place as the years turned to decades in a dull blur until he found a young man in danger, this man was Ren and after a shaky beginning the two became travelling companions, which led to Gaether becoming a member of The Guardians of Varadell.

Weaknesses: Hrathgaer isn’t large by giant standards but his large size can prevent access to certain areas, as well as his easily angered personality not making him the most diplomatic man. His berserk mode can only be activated once a day.

Backstory: Hrathgaer was born from a union between a god and a mortal giant, which some might think destined him for greatness, unfortunately he was born extremely short for a giant. This was seen as weakness and he was exiled. Hrathgaer lived on the foothills of giant territory and unknowingly saved the group that would become the Guardians of Varadell. Earning friends and a spot on the squad.

Backstory: Vergyld was raised among the citizens of Dragonroost. A great city of the large magic reptiles. She lived most of her life happily. Becoming extremely adept in the magical arts. Even finding a mate among the other dragons. This happiness faded after a thousand years. A terrible beast known as Gorgassa was released a single scratch from its claws would turn any beast into stone. The dragons were almost completely driven to extinction Vergyld escaped and after a few centuries she trained a human apprentice, Zoarra. Another decade passed and a strange group appeared, the apprentice of her former student. She taught the young man magic, though a human’s magic potential could never match to a dragon’s. At Ren’s insistence she joined the Guardians of Varadell.

Another perk of the suit is it allows him to survive in the vacuum of space.

Weaknesses:
John cannot absorb energy without consciously doing so. He will not be able to take the kinetic energy from a surprise attack. In a fit of despair after the decision John left earth and spent the rest of his days roaming the galaxy and somehow found himself on another team led by a being known as Nemesis. As was the team. The leader’s egotistical ways led to yet another of John’s teams being disbanded. That brings us to today where John is wandering around in direct vicinity to his home planet, only a matter of time.

Backstory(optional):Sister of Sasha Grabinski, Diana was depressed after her death in Russia. Vowing to hunt down Joey to the ends of the Earth, she will not stop until he is dead. Hiring brilliant scientists in Russia, she had them build her the hunter suit, a suit designed for stealth and infiltration for the military. Using the suit for herself, she will hunt down the man who killed her sister.

Backstory(optional): Kaiser, Bernard, and Bandit were all brothers. Bernard being the oldest and Bandit being the youngest, leaving Kaiser to be the middle child. Kaiser was the smartest out of his brothers and the most level-headed. Bernard was hot-headed and Bandit was all over the place with real bad ADHD. Bernard was diagnosed with lung cancer, and two weeks later Bandit with Hepatitis C. Two years later, after refusing to get treatment, Bernard died. Two weeks later, Bandit overdosed on his medicine. It was unsure if he did it on purpose or not, since he was very unpredictable and not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Kaiser at this time was a scientist and out-right refused to let his brothers go. He had an idea, but wasn't sure if it would work. He took his idea to Kayde, an old colleague of his, since he knew the man had done self-experimentation before and would hopefully not mind taking up this sort of challenge. He wanted to create copies of his brothers through AI tech, he and Kaybe spent three years programming the perfect AIs. Once completed, Kaiser requested the AI be put into microchips and inplanted in his own brain so when he died, nobody else would take the AIs from him. Kayde, although originally was against it, agreed after some convincing. So now Kaiser walks with his artificial brothers, causing personality shifts on the fly.
