Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

Upon closer look neo would notice just scribbles which Mika was enjoying very much as mitsu spoke casually. "Hmmm what about a home for just you me and Mika?" She said in response to neos remark about all the money she had. Then suddenly she froze, feeling that her comment about a house came off as rude and mean and to her sounded like a sort of snarky comment like the ones you'd say when you'd want to bluntly drop a very big hint thats intended to be very rude. she immediately looked to neo and spoke bringing a hand to neos arm. "I didn't mean it in a bad way baby. I-I was just saying something that you and I could have you know. Instead of staying in that big crowded home with everyone I was just saying maybe we could get a place to call our own you know." She spoke quickly worry and apology filling every word as she spoke hopping to not have put neo in a bad mood.
Neo looked at Mitsu and smirked, raising an eyebrow. "So you're saying is that your own house is considered crowded with just your mothers and your siblings? Or did you forget you guys had a house of your own~?" She said before shrugging and looking up at the sky as the seagulls cawed in the distance. She began thinking about it before looking at Mitsu smiling. "With the consent of your parents, I can buy us a house."

Everest grinned as he held onto Hakuru, rubbing his cheek on the top of her head as he listened to her before finally squeezing her tightly. "Oh? So I'm holding you hostage now? I womder if I keep you trapped in my arms if you'd eventually develop Stockholm syndrome. I think that sounds like a rather fun experiment, but....." as he paused, his hold on her loosened slightly and he continued speaking. "I think that should wait until later tonight."
"Later tonight? And what if I were to tell you I had work? That would certainly ruin you're little experiment idea, now wouldn't it." She responded. Thankfully, she didn't actually have work, she just wanted to see what he'd say. Really, she already had an idea of what he might say. Chances are, it'd be something that would make her want to die on the spot, he did a great job at doing that.

Ilaani tilted her head a little to look back the girl, her words didn't really make it seem like he was over it or that Serenity was convinced he was either, but whatever, it wasn't like Ilaani knew the guy so she guessed she couldn't really help with or give a solid opinion on that. She narrowed her eyes a little in response to Serenity's question before simply shrugging her shoulders "Maybe?" She gave an unsure smile "I was snatched from my parents at birth. I assume without their consent too. So I guess I probably do have siblings somewhere" she answered truthfully before giving a sheepish laugh "Sorry if that lowered the mood" she added after.
Serenity gave a solemn nod of her head. "Ah...well I'm sorry to hear that. But it seems you have grown into a wonderful person!" The goddess's smile returned and her cheerful tone was back, only missing for just a second. "The past is the past. Keep looking forward. Or as my brother says, 'keep your eyes on the road ahead of you'." Serenity tilted her head, her smile wide as ever. "What if you're related to some kind of human celebrity?"

Kitsune stood back up, yawning he looked over to where he dropped his books. Sighing Kitsune walked back over picking them all up. Heading to his home he held his books close, tears welling up in his eyes, blurring his vision. "I'm not hungry....I don't need to eat" he told himself over and over. Kitsune hadn't fed in a long time and forced himself to eat human food, which only made him sick. Finally making it to his apartment he unlocked the door, his hands shaking as walked up the stairs to his one bed room. Stopping at the door to his apartment he started crying "I can't take it...I need to eat" his eyes turned from pink to red as he dropped the books yet again, going back outside he started to stalk another male. The young man was a student at the same school he was attending, blushing he sniffed the air, practically drooling.

Mizuki had nodded at his words as he spoke a but one statement he had made in particular had stuck out in the young princess' mind. He had mentioned the instrument belonging to someone in the royal castle. Was he in the castle before? Perhaps that's where she had spotted him and where this is all weird familiar feeling was coming from? A small, gentle laugh escaped the girls lips "Well, your thinking certainly isn't wrong." She said as she pulled what looked to be an expensive looking headband about halfways out of her pocket. To anyone from their home it would of course be easily recognisable as the royal headband that females in the royal family would wear to signify their status. She flashed a smile at the boy before putting the band back into her pocket, she did find it slightly amusing that although she had given her surname, one that everyone in the royal family had, he hadn't picked up on it, then again, she did t know how long he was away from home for, maybe that wasn't something he'd make connections with other were away for a long time time. "I thought that going around telling I'm a princess wasn't the best way to fit in and make friends, so keeping it there would be best I th-" she stopped both her speech and movement abruptly, feeling an odd rush to her head that seemed to be causing her a degree of pain as it arrived. It was like the fuzzy memories that seem to hazy to understand were now flooding her head but with clearer view and actual sounds to go with it. Though there was so many, one had firstly stuck its way out in front of the rest. "It was me...?" She muttered almost inaudibly to herself, looking for confused. In the memory she saw herself handing the small wind instrument to someone dressed in the same outfit that Kansuke was now dressed in, which made zero sense to her. In that moment she almost nearly changed in appearance, her eyes threatening to switch to a different shade of blue. More and more memories came flooding in after that, different locations she had never been to or seen before in most so many that she wasn't sure if any of them were real or not, but one thing stood out each time in each flash of memory she had. Kansuke ((or atleast someone of striking resemblance)) was in almost all of them. But none of this made any sense to her and instead of answering her questions about the odd feeling she had gotten from him it had honestly made this task much more confusing as she now had kinds of recollections of events she was sure she was never, ever involved with.

While this was all going on in her head, she had spaced out from the world outside of her mind. Although staring at seemingly nothing, she looked panicked and distressed, her breathing had changed pace before she had scrambled out of her chair, now standing. She had snapped back to reality for that moment or two, rubbing her face with her hands. She had taken a breath, looking over at Kansuke for a bit, which was probably the wrong thing to do as it set her off into the same episode again. With everything repeating again but with some more cryptic images that included her home being destroyed. It was too much for her to see and decipher and with that she had promptly left the room without any kind of warning walking down the corridor outside the music classroom as she tried to shake off whatever this was, earning a few curious looks from other classmates in the process, as they had only seen a small bit of her odd behaviour.

To hear Mizuki actually confirm his suspicions took Kansuke by surprise a bit. So he had gotten the instrument from someone in the royal castle. How did he know that? He'd always had his instrument with him, but he always had some strange feeling that that's where he had originally gotten it. Somehow. While he was thinking about that conundrum was when Mizuki pulled out a headband, one that signified that she herself was a member of the royal family of his homeland. His eyes widened at the sight, immediately recognizing it as the headbands that the females of the royal family would wear. That would mean that... his eyes stayed wide as Mizuki explained her situation, relaxing when she laughed about keeping her royal heritage a secret.

"I totally understand," Kansuke laughed. "Your secret is safe with me."

For some reason, once the initial surprise of hearing who she was wore off, Kansuke had this feeling that he somehow knew that information all along. Like it was something that he always knew, and that it was important information to know. He would have thought on this further had Mizuki not cut her words off and spaced out. The distressed look on her face and increased breathing worried him, and he scrambled to his feet just as quickly as she did.

"Mizuki??" He asked, worry lacing his words.

Kansuke was about to reach out for her when she looked over at him, but she seemed to fall into another episode, and before he knew what was going on she was out the door and in the hallway, leaving students around her staring in confusion. Fearing that something might happen to her in this strange state, he grabbed his things and her harp and followed her, making sure to keep within a few paces.

"Mizuki?!" Kansuke called after her, eventually catching up near the end of the corridor. The door was only a few yards away, so he guessed that she might have been aiming to go outside and clear her head. He grabbed her arm, trying to stop her and figure out what was happening. A sense of nostalgia and purpose seemed to wash over him at the touch of his hand to her arm, but he ignored it for the moment. "Hey, are you alright??"

The cat was sitting back on it's haunches as if prepared to flee at any given moment however as the moment's passed the cat's paw slowly and gingerly raised as if afraid of scarring away the other person, before eventually it moved swiftly and squished it's soft fuzzy little cat paw against the slightly giving human nose. Staring at it's paw on the person's nose it tilted it's head slightly and blinked before mewing at the human.

Gavrielle wasn't used to seeing cats in a setting like this. Sure when out patrolling and on missions she had seen plenty felines roaming around in the different places she'd been to, but never in a class setting. Then again, any classes she had taken prior to this moment were all at military compounds where animals weren't allowed. And if even if they were, the especially werent allowed in the lecture halls. So seeing a cat sitting on her desk trying to get her attention was genuinely a strange sight. It seemed a little on edge, as a lot of docile animals were when surrounded by creatures it wouldn't recognize. However, it seemed more interested in her than anyone else in the class, as it placed its paw on her nose and looked at her with some kind of intrigued expression. Not really knowing what else to do in this bizarre situation, Gavrielle moved her hand and booped the cat on its nose back, tilting its head to match the feline on her desk. But unlike the cat, she didn't mew, because soldiers don't mew.

Across the room, Lena had her hand clasped over her mouth, trying to stifle her growing laughter at the sight of her sister and the cat.

Han had stood up, his hands in his pockets as he looked down at the grave, and his sister who was right next to it. He could feel the outburst forming. He could sense the anger and sadness coming from his younger sister, and there absolutely nothing he could do about it... Because he was the source of that anger. It was him being gone all that time that she had such a heavy burden on her shoulders all these years. The reason her childhood was torn out of her hands as if it were nothing. As the first words words came out of her mouth, Han could only look down at her back his eyes wider than before. He could tell she wasn't going to turn around and look him in the face. Why would she, but she soon did. And he immediately felt his heart drop. She was right.

He was supposed to be there for them. Even if he HAD to leave, why didn't he come back as soon as he could? Why did he stay? His sisters had every right to hate him if they did, and he wouldn't blame them for it at all. He was a failure of a big brother. Looking down away from Kanon, he didn't speak but let her go on, wanting to hear everything she had to say... Because she, once again, was right about it all. When she told him to explain why he left them, he grit his teeth, slowly looking back up to look at her.

When Kanon had looked to the ground, Han raised his hand a bit, preparing to hug his younger sister to try and help calm her, but something told him not to... It was the fear of being rejected. Kanon already resented his previous actions, and at this point she probably didn't even want to be seen with Han. She was never seen with him in the first place, after all, he was never there. Going against this feeling, Han placed a hand on Kanon's head and looked to the grave behind her. "You're right. About everything. I left you guys and I'm sorry. You may not want to hear my apology, and I doubt you'll even think about accepting it, but I truly am. I don't know anything about what you two went through while I was away, but with the circumstances, you still managed to do better than I probably would have. At such a young age, you managed. You persevered through it all and even raised your sister. While I was gone doing what I was doing, you were forced to become an adult, and no child should suffer that. I should have made sure someone was there with you, and that someone should have been me. I definitely won't be able to make up for lost time, and I sure as hell won't be able to give you what you missed out on, but I promise from this day forward to do what I can to be there. For both you and Yumi. I don't blame you if you hate me or anything, but I am gonna work hard to do what I can for you two. It may be too late to fix such a damaged relationship, but I'll work with what I can. Even if it means nothing to you anymore at this point."
Kanon was biting her lip so hard to try and stop the tears from forming that her teeth had cut through the thin skin of the area. Blood formed on her lips and threatened to drip, as did the tears in her eyes that she failed to stop. These were emotions that had been building over years, held behind a hardened shell she was forced to build for herself. Every time that Han wasn't there when she needed him was another layer to add to the shell around her emotions. Without him there, she had nobody to turn to during the harder times. Every anniversary of their mothers death. Registering for school and moving out of their house for the first time. Getting abducted and those men doing all those awful things to her... her shoulders shuddered as the memories flowed through her mind, and that's when the first drop of the salty liquid made its way down her cheeks. It was also when her brother placed his hand on her head, trying to help calm her down. Feeling this and hearing his words, Kanon felt torn. One part of her was begging to just run away, not believe what he said and rebuild the shell to stay safe behind. The other part of her wanted to give him, wanted nothing more than to hug him and finally have him back. But she wasn't sure what part was right. Even still, as he spoke and gave his apologies, her hands reached up, grabbing the arm of the hand that held her head. Her hands shook as they grasped Hans arm, her voice marching it as well. "I needed you... s-so many times... I still need you... b-big brother...!"

Ansom had driven off, and that left Celaena alone once again in the park. She had enjoyed her time hanging out with him, but didn't want to take up too much of his time. She had already caused a scene in the changing room and didn't want to embarrass him further. It really proved that she knew nothing about this world or anything in it, and had no idea how to fit in with it. Looking around, the people in the park seemed fairly normal, but there were a few things that didn't seem completely...human. In the lake in the center of the park was someone swimming. Swimming was normal, but the person swimming was not, as evidenced by the gills protruding from their neck. Occasionally she'd see pixies or fairies or spirits drifting amongst the trees. Beings with wings would fly overhead. Nobody seemed concerned by these things, so Celaena guessed that maybe this human world of earth didn't contain just human beings. And that maybe, just maybe, her Fae powers would work here.

To test this theory, Celaena had to think of something to do to prove it. Standing on a patch of grass, Celaena wondered if her nature manipulation would do the trick. With a little concentration, she sent some of her power into the grass below her, attempting to grow a patch of flowers around her feet. To her delight, within a few seconds a wide variety of Fae flowers were blooming around her, and this earned a wide grin from the fae. This meant that her powers were working! That also meant that... Celaena smiled even wider at the realization of what working powers in this world meant. Concentrating, Celaena focused on summoning her personal cat spirit, Kana. If her other abilities worked, then this one would too. Soon enough, out of a puff of smoke popped the small gray and white cat, who jumped into Celaenas open hands.

"Kana!" She exclaimed, hugging the spirit close to her. "I cannot believe this worked!"

In excitement, Celaena brought Kana above her head, holding her paws in her fingers. As she walked, her arms would move a bit, and sway Kana in a manner reminiscent of dancing. "I am so happy I am able to see you Kana! I was not sure if I would be able to summon you here in this world, or if it was only possible back in Fae. This world is so strange and interesting. I suppose I can see why Ayen would be drawn to this place... there are so many strange and fascinating things here!" Celaena continued on like this, eventually making it to the town. "Like this town! I have never seen such buildings and creations such as the ones here. I wonder what else we could find if we explored a bit!"

Kitsune froze, sniffing the air he turned in the direction of Celaena and started walking towards her. Slowly moving, his head lowered to the ground as if not paying attention. Under his breath, barely audible, he kept mumbling to himself "so hungry...but I shouldn't..." stopping a few feet from celaena and kana he placed arms around himself "just one bite...one taste wouldn't hurt would it? I don't have to kill them just to get my fill" trying to resist the urge to lunge for Celaena to try and feed off of her. An aura not visible to humans started to flow off his body, any type of animal would have run by now, his intent to kill and feed would have been clear. His gaze finally moving up from the ground to her eyes "help me please" he begged her, his claws digging into his arms, his pink shirt had started to stain red with his blood.

Sora smiled as she lay on the boy's lap and shook her head slightly. "nope! Its not a pleasant experience, I really don't recommend it. Too slimy and pink for my liking, so I've never enjoyed it in the past."
Cam laughed a little "That is a weird thing to say. Not how I envisioned my day going." He smiled "So, where do you come from?" He asked gently

Tuesday dropped her hand and gave Levi a look. "A rabbit? What do you mean, a rabbit?" She had never been so confused in her life. Well, her turning into a rabbit would explain why she was so fast sometimes, and also why it seemed she was even shorter than she should be. But she had never been in public when she transformed. She remembered her aunt. You're not invisible, one of her voices said. Tuesday frowned and turned slightly. "Then what am I?" she said out loud.

Levi shrugged his shoulders in a laid back manner "exactly what you think I mean" he answered calmly "Or you know, you could have been a hare too, it happened too quick for me to tell the difference" he said quietly, only looking down at her when she had seemingly thought aloud, with a raised brow he smiled before answering "Isn't that what we are here to see?"

"Shh." Tuesday held a finger up to Levi's mouth. She looked at nothing in particular, deep in concentration. You're not dead, either, the voice said. She knew which voice it was. It was Welch, the one voice who actually helped her. "Stop being so vague, Welch. Tell me what you know." She knew Levi probably thought she was crazy now, but Welch knew what she was and she needed to know. Third shelf from the top, the old dusty book next to the bonsai. Page 394. Tuesday looked at Levi. "I'm not crazy, just trust me. Stay here." She floated up to the third shelf and searched for the book.

Neo looked at Mitsu and smirked, raising an eyebrow. "So you're saying is that your own house is considered crowded with just your mothers and your siblings? "W-well y-yeah. I've just really wanted a place you and I can call our own you know. It's fun and all living with family but.... I want something you i and mika can live in ourselves." She said as she leaned against neo kissing her cheek lovingly. "I know my parents will concent." She said happily

Des laughed slightly, "ya well, memory manipulation is outside the scope of my abilities. They're very specialized, but if I didn't wish it, not even death herself could touch me." then leaning back in the chair, Des placed the book inside the shoulder bag he wa wearing and sighed. "don't worry about it, I'm just marveling at an astronomical coincidence. Either way though, thinking about it is interesting even I you don't like discussing, such as how you are merely the personification of a force, which would make it seem illogical as though you would have free will, yet that is clearly not the case. I just think its interesting."
(yes he's implying her not being able to touch him btw, but when his shields are impenetrable to anything but sanctums he has a right to brag.)
She smiled a little and in a flash she was beside him, akuren sitting in annabels lap as thana poked his cheek. "Can't touch you eh?" She asked with a smirk as she stood tall and started for the exit. Just before she got to the door though she stopped. "Oh and if you ever talk about me as nothing more than an object or thing I'll make you wish you were never brought into existence. I may not be able to kill you but I can make you wish you could die, very, very easily. I'll make you wish the coldness of my touch could take you, make you wish you could embrace me." She said her tone quickly growing cold and sinister as an aura of death and darkness filled the cafe as she walked out. Money appearing on the table as Annabel stood up holding akuren gently as she walked past him stopping by his side. "You made a huge mistake big boy. Pissing her off like that was a horrible idea." She said before continuing on her way out

Greg smiled at his love, but he was as curious as she was, even concerned. Was he a danger for her? Was he a danger for his surroundings, let alone for himself?
He had to find out, but not by hurting the girl he was crazy about.
He sighed, seeing as how the cup was now punctured in few places, but shrugged.
"I honestly don't know... I forgot I had them... but now.. I see that I need to watch out... especially for you, my dear" He exclaimed, standing up, seeing the stains on his pants
Ariel blinked a few times as she looked at the punctured cup, she wasn't scared of Greg hurting her, she didn't think he would and if he did it would definitely be by accident. She looked to the boy and smiled reassuringly "I'll be safe, I know you won't hurt me. Besides, even though my powers are ice based, I've spent so much time with dragons I can handle a burn or two" she said in a cheerful tone, she didn't want him thinking that he needed to keep his distance from her, after all she had only just got him back again. "Maybe we can read up on some stuff some time, see what we can learn about your powers having a moment like that?"

"You sure?" Mitsu asked softly as mika went back to scribbling on paper instead of neo

"Then I'll go find her once school gets out." He said quietly a cold look on his face as he mumbled. "I already don't like the idea of her going off on her own with a boy let alone That boy of all boys." He said looking at Euloria a look of fatherly protection in his eyes

"Mm it depends on what it is honestly, most objects though take about 1 to 2 minuets like you said but if it's an uncommon item or an item people don't interact with at least once a week it could take me about 5 minuets." She explained to her with a smile
Euloria didn't answer him a first, simply looking back at him from where she worked after a moment's silence she exhaled lightly "And what will you say to her when you see her after school? What if he is accompanying her then too?" She asked, wondering how he planned on dealing with this, since from the look in his eyes, she could tell he was going to be the one doing the talking.

Ilaani smiled softly after Serenity's compliment, this girl really was too nice, Ilaani was sure she had never been complimented so many times in a row before "That's the first time I've heard that, Thanks" as for the advice, she nodded in agreement. She already lived this way, she felt she wouldn't have ever gotten anywhere in life so far if she kept looking back at where she came from, heck, she'd probably be still homeless. Thinking on Serenity's question, it caused her to chuckle a bit "I never actually thought on that before now..." She shrugged "I guess that would be pretty interesting, but I guess I'll never know. Maybe it's better that way, it might all go to my head if I was" She joked.

Reading a book entitled "four evil children" Toby was seen leaning against the wall where the rectangular glass window on his left was reflecting a fresh planted tree that is literally four times higher than him. His standing spot is located at the center of school which is his second favourite spot to read alone. He is so safe that he can peacefully read one of his top twenty favourite books. Flipping over the page he read a line of the page out loud. "once upon a time there were four evil children..."

Loud and clear so that someone in the distance can notice him.

Mizuki was indeed heading to the door leading outside, thinking that would clear her head but she was stopped by a hand grabbing her arm. Feeling the hand touch her arm she had immediately stopped and tensed up. Her mind had stuck at one vision in particular she could feel everything around her, see her home in ruin, not knowing what had caused it, everything was dark, apart from the flames that had taken some buildings and she could see a shadowy figure standing in the middle of it all, just staring at her. She looked visibly upset and even when she had been grabbed and her clouded over eyes gazed back at Kansuke, she could see him, yes. But her mind had inserted him into the backdrop of her vision of her burning homeland and the shadowed man. As she looked at Kansuke, he seemed unaffected by what she was seeing, not reacting to anything but her, she realised that he obviously wasn't seeing it with her.

After noticing this fact it took a moment or two but her mind had seemed to calm down, the vision melted away, her body had relaxed somewhat and her eyes had cleared out, her gaze now completely focused on the boy holding her arm in the school corridor. "I-I'm... No...I just- I mean, Yes." She closed her eyes for a moment and took a breath "Yeah, I'm alright." She answered quietly. She looked off the the side, looking a bit embarrassed if anything, after all she did just run out of the room like a crazy person and taking a look over Kansuke's shoulder she could spot a few students staring out the doorway from the classroom at them, so she knew she had caused a fuss. "I just...needed some air..." She said with a gentle nod, watching the viewers loosing interest and proceeding to go back to their music class before looking back at him. "I guess I had a bit of a...uh. moment there..." She knew that what she had seen was all in her head but it felt so real that she was now worried about her home, what if that had actually happened?

Levi furrowed his brows as she placed her finger over his lips. He went to swat her hand away but she had already moved it to go where...Welch told her to go, whoever that was. Levi gave her a confused look before shrugging and staying put like she asked him to do. Which was odd for him, following requests wasn't a think he normally did but hey, the girl saved his life, he guessed her Atleast do what she said for a while. He watched her search the shelves, pulling a bag of candy out of his pocket and eating some as he did so.

Everest's face fell upon hearing she had work and he pouted by rubbing his cheek on top of her head if before an idea struck him, so he casually asked without trying to sound suspicious. "Say.... Where do you work?"

"Ah!" Tuesday pulled out the book, which was quite large, and floated back down to Levi. The title was The Irish and What You Should Know Before Going. She sat down at a desk, but fell through the chair. She decided to stand instead. She flipped through the pages, muttering to herself. "Hm... page 394... 394... there." She called Levi over. "The Irish and What You Should Know Before Going? What do you think?"

"Well, I believe I told you when we went there. I work at the maid cafe around here....why?" She asked. She was a bit curious as to why he wanted to know suddenly, even though she had told him before.
