Qrow Branwen

Drunk Uncle
Jesus Christ on a unicycle strapped to a rocket...Where to begin...Well...

I'll put out a little opinion sheet for those who watched the show can fill in

Overall Opinion:

What you hated:

What you found boring:

Things you just knew where gonna happen and they happened:

Any surprising moments for you?:

------

Overall Opinion: Very Good, bland in points but hey hoo, what can you do

What you hated: The fact that Qrow is injured for a good 40-60% of the Vol. We lost out on a lot of uncle shenanigans

What you found boring: Some of the episodes felt like filler to me tbh

Things that you called: ReNora basically becoming Canon, Ren's backstory being told out abit, Qrow getting injured(-cries-), Tyrian getting injured and finally, Ozpin being reborn...albeit as a fucking voice in a kids head

Forget a thing ;-;

Any suprising moments: I'll be honest...Besides Ren's backstory and how abusive and manipulating Weiss' father is(I was expecting him to be strict af but Jesus fucking Christ)I wasn't really surprised

Forget a thing ;-;

Overall Opinion: Pretty good, 8/10

What you hated:

RNJR taking all fucking volume to get to Mistral even though there was a 6 MONTH time skip to help speed things along

What you found boring:

Nothing really, I always was on edge most of the time for the next episode and during the episode

Things that you called:

I knew Qrow wasn't going to die. Dude has so much plot armor. Srsly, I saw some #Qrowdiesweriot things going around

Lol. Drunk Lovable Uncle dies. Half of Atlas and Vacuo go up in riot

9/10. Good character development, nice advancement to the plot, and awesome ending. Plus those Jaune and Past Arkos moments really got to my feels ; A ;

What you hated:
-Qrow not dying. They literally carried the guy on a makeshift stretcher for an hour, split up, wasted a bunch of time in an abandoned town, left him alone completely defenseless to fight a Grimm, and the sonuvabitch STILL survives! XD Everyone knows that was bullcrap and you know it.
-It felt like Blake went a step back. Volume 4 Blake acts completely like Volume 2 Blake, worrying about the white fang, treating sun like crap, crying about her friends possibly getting hurt. Its a wicked sense of dejavu

What you found boring:
Most of the Blake episodes

Things you just knew where gonna happen and they happened:
+Jaune using Pyrrha's armor and stuff
+New Jaune improvements
+Lionheart working for Salem
+Weiss father and brother being dicks

Any surprising moments for you?:
No Neo
Not enough Oscar episodes
Raven and Qrow conversation
Ozpin in Oscar's head.

I loved all the character development in Vol4 even if there weren't as many plot developments like in Vol3.

*Nods*
I especially loved what they did with Cinder, Mercury, And Emerald. Instead of the smug douches they were, they seemed horrified by everything about Salem. Plus, seeing mercury actually scared of something fills me with a personal joy XD

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if they switch sides much later in the series.

Even though people say its not, RWBY is basically a 3d anime. Any knowing anime, I'm pretty sure they will XD
I like to think of it as the inverse of the Dragon Ball games, where they use cell shaded models instead of traditional 2D goodness lol.

On another note, I have a gut feeling that Pyyrha might come back in one way or form. If not in a physical form, maybe in a more magical Season sort of way with. The one thing I really did hate was that Salem literally came out of nowhere. I had no idea who that was by the end of Vol 3

If they can put ozpin inside a little boy's head and have qrow survive scorpion poison with no aura, they can bring back freaking Pyyrha

I'm sure Pyyrha will return and I'm sure Cinder and Co will switch sides. Cinder was horrified for a bit there as well.

There were some other sad ones too, though. I'm not gonna lie, I thought the ren/nora flashback was going to be a little more happy. Didn't expect an almost hyperactive Ren or an Orphan Nora.

Neither did i. I do love ren/nora and not even as a couple, they just belong together as friends forever.

Overall Opinion: Liked it. I'll put a caveat here.

What you hated: The general feel of Season 4 really irked me tbh. I mean I like it, but most of it was the characters mopping around in sadness. I mean, Ruby was constantly active, but Weiss just, didn't fucking leave for months. Blake cried like a baby and ran home, literally, Yang was pretty understandable since she did lose her arm, but she did act like a baby. This season really felt like an entire filler season. Also Oscar. Also Cinder, Also the entire antagonist setup.

What you found boring: Nothing actually was that boring that comes to mind. Except perhaps some of the flashback scenes with Ren, even if they were adorable.

Things you just knew where gonna happen and they happened: Weiss escaping and abandoning her Schnee name.

Any surprising moments for you?: Sun actually do something useful.

Referring back to my caveat, it may seem I blasted what was going on in this season. Honestly, I loved season four but, the way Roosterteeth is taking RWBY really just, irks me. I liked Roman and Cinder being evil and stuff but the world domination and save the world plot seems so forced and just, honestly stupid. Perhaps I just hate Salem that much but, I would have been really happy if Roman Cinder Mercury Emerald Neo and Adam were the only antagonists.
