Chapter One: War of Shooting Stars

Raikou Vi Symphonia/Hyakki Yagyo

Raikou replied "I don't know." Then Raikou came to abrupt stop. What had made Raikou stop was the fact this is the rendezvous point for the team of Marines sent to aid him. Just as he arrived so did they a group of 7 marines. One presumably their Squad Leader was wearing a custom combat uniform very close to a service uniform, one was Marine Juggernaut in a hulking giant 7 foot tall armoured suit, and the rest where wearing combat armor resembling that of Predators from "Aliens vs Predators".  The weapons of the Marines swiveled in the direction Raikou and Ishida had come from as the dark presence came closer. An almost black mist seem to come from that general direction.

Raikou saw it coming and leapt back as the Mizuchi still in its dragon form shot out of the trees separating Ishida from Raikou and the Marines. Raikou was about to leap at the dragon assuming its aim was to separate Ishida from Raikou. But Raikou was seized by the Marine Juggernaut from behind who was pulling him back restraining him. "We have to leave Lieutenant we our severly outnumbered." The juggernaut said. Raikou couldn't protest as he knew the juggernaut was right and he knew this particular juggernaut as Sergeant Nelson one of his friends with the Marine core. Raikou looked up to see various flying creatures and even what seemed to be a flying boat in the air. The marines fled with Raikou in their possession leaving behind Ishida who had been surrounded by not just the Mizuchi but other creatures as well, one would recognize all these creatures under the term "yokai" based on their appearances.

With the departure of the Marines, Ishida would notice the yokai were no longer malevolent towards him. "You're a yokai as well, why would you side with humans? Will you join us brother? The yokai of the Hyakki Yagyo?" the Mizuchi said returning to his human appearance. If Ishida agrees then he'll be given a lift to floating boat which journeys towards Kyoto, Japan. If he refuses, then the Hyakki Yagyo will simply move on without him leaving him in this forest near Yokohoma.

John Hunter

John left the crater as soon as the Sentinel Industries forces left, he would then journey several hours to Yokohoma to figure out what he should do next.

Timeskip(moving things to the next stage): One week

A week had gone by since the "Night of Shooting Stars" and the meteors were still the hot topic. Hotbeds of supernatural activity where theorized to also be hot zones for meteor falls, their seemed to be an increase in conflict in these areas. It seemed that nations were ready to go to war over things they know so little about. Many efforts to recover fallen meteors proved fruitless. Rumors of some nations recovering some crystaline meteors but unable to access what's inside them. Other rumors of individuals just like the White Warrior acquiring godlike power from a meteor. Rumors of odd structures appearing in some nations were also common.

Much attention was drawn towards Asia and Europe as the most projected fall zones where on these two continents. The current focus however was still Japan, which was now having a flashback to the Warring States period although this time involving Supernatural powers, advanced technology, Ars Mundus, and supposedly power from meteors. The Current Regime prior to the Night of Shooting Stars was already in the process of decline. What tilted the government over the edge of the Hyakki Yagyo(100 Demon Night Parade) that wreaked havoc throughout Japan before basically taking control of Kyoto. The government tried to oppose the Hyakki Yagyo only to have its millitary decimated and lose all its authority.

With that foreign powers used this state of emergency as an invitation to invade and occupy in hopes of searching for the power of the meteors. Some places are still under the protection of local Japanese powers and resisting the increasing foreign influence. That and the Hyakki Yagyo are not making life easy for foreign powers to gain a foothold in Japan.

The term widely used at this point is [Godsend] to describe items, powers, etc. carried by those meteors on the Night of Shooting Stars. The rationale is that most of the rumoured individuals who had acquired Godsends are in Japan at the moment, including the first of which the White Warrior who many believe could be a key to finding and obtaining more Godsends after the most recent addition to his story that he distributed Godsends to two different people. It stands to reason that the best chance at acquiring a Godsend at present is in Japan either way. An absolute certainty is that foreign powers are likely to get into war with each other over the Godsends.

Waves lapped at the sides of Avael's vessel the Ice Runner, As he and his crew silently drifted towards the Island of Okinawan to resupply and gain addition information the current affairs of Japan at the moment. Clad in his armour, the young Frost stood at the helm, snow and ice whipping around him and the Ice Runner in a blizzard so thick that no mortal but a Frost could see through it, let alone withstand it.

Silently the ship made it's way to port, the blizzard ending before reaching the docks as to not cause any damage or harm to the people and ships. Most of the inhabitants simply ignored the Frosts that had made landing at their docks, as they had become a common sight over the years as trade partners. Officers barked out orders to the crew to get the ship secured, as Avael made his way to the docks, a small squad of his kinsman following after. "Don't cause any trouble." Avael ordered his men as they made their way into the village. "But if trouble finds you, put them down..." He added.

"Huh? That guy was a human? He didn't seem so bad to me." That being said, his village elders told him that humans had the capacity to be very cruel creatures. It then struck him just how little he knew of the world. He himself was a yokai after all, and judging by the violent exchange, yokai were not taken kindly to. And yet... there was a sort of excitement in finding it all out by himself. That was why he set out on this journey to begin with. There was also the danger of being by himself in a world that seemed to be changing just as he entered it. "I..."

-Timeskip-

It dropped silently, the last ragged breath leaving its body before the light left its eyes. Removing his claw from the deers neck, Ishida grabbed it by the legs and swung it over his shoulders. "Ahh, plenty of meat on this one. Should get a nice price in town with plenty to spare for myself!" Humming to himself he makes his way back to the small town he'd lodged in for the past week. "Things are getting pretty crazy now... those Hyakki Yagyo guys takin' over, falling rocks, and war everywhere." Of course, he only knew this from listening to conversations around town. "Hope they aren't too sore with me for not going with em." As the gates came into view, he made sure his ears were safely hidden under the straw hat he... 'appropriated' from a drunkard a few towns back, and that his tail was securely tied to his leg. He learned through trial and error the first couple of days how people responded to yokai. Even if they promise that they are friendly. "Can't help that though... everyone is on edge now." Even the yokai that he bumps into occasionally. Some are amicable enough, giving him information in exchange for an errand of sorts. Others are aggressive and more than once has he had to hightail it out of the area because some jerk thought he was a human. Or just in the way.

Sora Knightwalker

Sora had been in Okinawa for three days now, he had been tracking rumors about a Godsend, this one in particularly is rumored to be the Yata no Kagami. Why would the posessor of the Yata no Kagami come down to the southern tip of Japan? This was a split decision between choosing to go to the northern tip Hokkaido to investigate stories of the Yasakani no Magatama or chase the White Warrior all over the mainland. The Ryukyu Islands where a relatively smaller zone and therefore should be easier to search. Also the Empire of Britannia didn't want to draw too much attention to itself so soon. The Empire of Britannia was the only notable foreign presence in the Ryukyu Islands so far but who knows how soon that could change.

However, Sora had split off from the main expeditionary forces and come to Okinawa to search on his own. Sora checked his smart device to see a message from the main expeditionary forces. It reported a freak blizzard heading towards Okinawa that had suspiciously fallen short of the island. It was odd activity so, there may be cause to investigate and it may have drawn the attention of the posessor of the Yata no Kagami. Within an hour, Sora found himself in a brown cloak with his sword wrapped up in white cloth looking at a ship from the Snowlands. He watched merchants attempting to trade with the Frosts but also how the people seemed all too familiar with the Frosts. Sora thought it best to conceal himself in a vantage point before the Frosts take notice of him. He doubted the Frosts liked anything Britannian, for all he know they may believe Britannia seeks to conquer their lands. Sora quickly turned away and too hastily began walking towards a building overlooking the docks.

The Hyakki Yagyo

It would seem as if the sky dimmed as a black cloudy mists became to head towards the village. The silhouettes of flying yokai especially tengu could be seen on the outer edges of the mist. The mizuchi from a week ago suddenly appeared next to Ishida. "I'm sorry we haven't had a proper introduction brother, I am Shizuku. I have given you a week to mull over your response not accepting the one you gave a week ago. Will you join us inugami? Our master wishes you to join your own kind. Your a yokai, you belong with the Hyakki Yagyo." The mizuchi said.

Raikou Vi Symphonia

Raikou stood aboard a Symphonian Destroyer class airship in its War Room discussing the right course of action to take with the other high ranking and elite officers onboard. "Look the best course of action rather than imperialising and antagonizing the Japanese like other foreign powers, we should build a cooperative relationship with them. Look the next regime to come into power will probably be one under the control on the Onmyouji clans being they are the ones chiefly fighting against the Hyakki Yagyo. The Onmyounji clans are likely to rally all the warrior clans, wandering heroes, and possibly Godsend posessors to their side. So maybe we should request to join in that Summit at Yokohoma." Raikou explained.

"But we would be inviting agression from the Eurasian Federation who were  from attending that Summit for its imperialistic aggression in Hokkaido." Replied another officer.

"Doesn't matter, not like we were ever on good terms with the EF. Look my brother entrusted the situation in Japan to us. Its best to ally with the locals then fight against them, we don't even want their land for ourselves." Raikou replied.

With that he could see the nodding heads of most of the War Council. He quickly said "Lets put it to a vote." It was a unanimous decision to attend the Summit being held in Yokohoma for all those wishing to ally with the Onmyouji clans.

@Maiza Avaro @Alteras  @Scaver

Silently, the five man squad of Frosts made their way to what looked to be a bar at the edge of the docks. Walking inside, Four of the Frost commandos took up positions inside the establishment as Avael made his way to the bar. Moments later a balding japanese man came up to him smiling in greeting. "It is good to see you Ice-Veins." The aging man said clasping the young Frosts wrist.

"Ohmi-San, how's the family?" Avael asked with a smile of his own, before releasing the elderly man's wrist before taking a seat at the bar.

"Very well my friend. But I assume this isn't a leisurely visit to talk to an old bar owner."  He replied getting a nod from Avael. "Then I suggest we take this someplace more private yes?" Ohmi added gesturing to a cloaked man in the corner where one of the armour clad commandos was standing near by. Aveal simply nodded to his japanese friend before making a series of hand signs to the others telling them to stay put and snag the guy in the corner. After that, the two disappeared to the back to converse in private.

Minutes passed, and finally the two returned, one with information regarding their mission, the other holding a small sack of uncut Snowland Diamonds. Giving a nod to the Frost in the corner, said commando proceeded to put the cloaked man in a headlock as their CO made his way to him. "You seem awfully interested in my ship and crew... Let's talk about that..."

Yoshi "Nanashi" Nanase

"Huh?!" Nanashi exclaimed, eyes wide with disbelief at what Mikado had just said to her. "Outside?!" She cried out, looking thoroughly flustered and embarrassed at the mere thought.

"Is there a problem?" Mikado questioned, tilting his head to the side.

"I mean, I've been a recluse for years now." Nanashi explained, in hopes of getting her older cousin to understand what she was going through. "Going outside is, uh, not my forte. Kind of a bother..." She nervously rubbed the back of her neck. "I've kind of got a shut-in pride to uphold..." She finished lamely, having the decency fo look sheepish.

"Is that right?" Mikado hummed as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Well, you have the choice to refuse, if you don't want to." He said kindly. "Just say the word."

"Wha? Hmm..." Nanashi thought her decision over in her mind.

On one hand, Nanashi really didn't want to go outside. All she really wanted to do right now was stay at home, play video games and eat junk food like she normally did. She's done so for a quite while now, and she clearly doesn't mind at all continuing to do so. On the other hand, however, this was Mikado who was asking her, the one who took her useless self in when nobody else did when her parents had died that fateful day. In any case, if she could be of use to others and make them happy, she'll be willing to do literally anything.

"Well, if you want to go outside with me, then I'll go with you!" Nanashi declared after a moment of silence, earning a surprised expression from her cousin.

"What about your 'shut-in pride'?" Mikado asked, a bit befuddled by his cousin's sudden change of heart.

"Oh, don't worry about me!" Nanashi chuckled, nonchalantly waving off Mikado's concerns. "If you say leave, I'll leave! If you say buy yakisoba bread, I'll go do that!" She smiled in a determined manner, eyes practically gleaming from the emotion. "If it makes you happy, then I'll be happy too!"

"I... see." Mikado smiled, though it was hardly genuine, strained as it was. He clenched and unclenched his hands for a short while before closing his eyes, letting out a sigh to calm himself down. "Well then, shall we?" He inquired Nanashi as he gestured to the door.

"Okay!" Nanashi readily agreed, grinning in an excited manner despite of herself.

"Eh? Hey pal, you really gotta watch where you just appear like that." He set the deer carcass down, once more thinking about his options, "You guys have been busy, so I've been told. All I wanted to do was learn more about the world my clan kept us away from. If I join you, I'll have to hurt people?" If there was anything he ever learned from the long boring lectures of the elders it was, 'A nest will not stir itself against you, if you do not stir the nest.' And right now, a lot of nests appeared to be stirring. He enjoyed a good fight, sure, but those fights aren't meant to harm.

A loud synthetic chime rang through the air of a small room an Tyr slowly opened his eyes ending his medititations. Rising smoothly to his feet he walked to the door sliding it open to reveal Melitta standing both arms behind her back "Sir we have managed to secure a place at the summit that will occur in Japan soon. I recommend that you prepare to leave as soon as possible to ensure you can see who arrives". "Excellent Melitta" reaching down to one side of the door he picked up a sword in a dark green sheath with gold threading and strapped it to his belt, Melitta raised one eye at this but said nothing as they proceeded to the command center. As they walked Tyr began dispatching commands to ready an aircraft and a small squad of guards, at the same time he was catching up on the progress of the research teams, Sentinel industries had secured several of the items which were now being called godsend, currently they were mostly being kept in labs for research inside of the bridge facilities. As soon as they reached the command center the 8 soldiers from before greeted him. "Come we must leave at once an aircraft is already being fueled" Tyr spoke without stopping as he continued towards the landing zone the 8 soldiers falling into formation with him.

A few hours later all 9 of them climbed out of the small hypersonic aircraft that had delivered them to the outskirts of Yokohoma. They quickly made their way through the city gliding easily through the crowds, heading towards the location of the summit.

Sora Knightwalker

The old man's gesture did not escape Sora's notice and neither did the Frosts posting themselves around the room which put him on edge. He watched the lead Frost comeback and nod in his direction but not at him, Sora ducked out the booth as the Frosts who was posted near him tried to surprise headlock him. He of course had his sword trail behind him in his trailing arm and white wraps on it burned away as he pointed his sword now covered in flame at the Frost who tried to headlock him. A layer of dragon scales shone on his skin and a glow within his mouth showed a breath of fire was on standy. Sora removed his cloak revealing his armor and the glow over his chest centered on his Dragon Heart. "Just curious about what you Snowlanders are up to." Sora replied embers of flames escaping his mouth as he spoke.

The Hyakki Yagyo

"We have our reasons for doing what we do two people can do the same thing for different reasons. But why do you care if you hurt those people who force you into hiding? You don't have to fight and kill, just simply your presence among us would be enough. You belong with others who are like you and won't mistreat you, your home, and your kin unlike far too many humans these days. Come brother join us in our crusade to right the wrongs done to us!" Shizuku replied transforming into his true mizuchi form and beckoning for Ishida to climb onto his serpentine body.

The Summit in Yokohama

The Summit was being held at the Sankeien Garden in the Kakushokaku meeting building. Onmyouji of various clans however where posted throughout the gardens and those invited to the summit are welcome to wander the gardens during the Summit.  Only the leaders of the factions invited and the Heads of the Five Great Onmyouji Clans will be allowed in the Kakushokaku once the Summit truly begins. Already present besides the onmyouji where several Japanese warrior factions, Raikou Vi Symphonia and some others of the current Symphonian force stationed in Japan, and now 9 individuals from Sentinel Industries. But more invitees would arrive as time goes on. One thing the onmyouji where particularly on the lookout for was an attack by the Hyakki Yagyo or by the Eurasian Federation. However, the entire Naka Ward was mostly clear of regular civilian citizens of Yokohama. They advised to evacuate in case a situation where to arise. It's a risk gathering this many warriors of exceptional power as well as leaders of various factions in one place.

Chapter One: War of Shooting Stars

Location: Inside Mount Fuji || Scenario: A New Era, For Arlen At least. || With: N/A || Mentions: Open for Character interaction

The last thing Arlen remembered was the cold glare of the other magicians and Magical Creatures as the stone tomb swallowed him dragging him deep into the earth. He had thrown everything he could at the walls, fire hotter then the sun, Ice so cold it burned, winds faster then any tornado and everything else he could summon up. He didn't make a scratch in the walls. He could feel the magic still alive in the stone, fortified Especially against him. He had been dumb to fall into such a trap so easily. He was a strong Magician, Considered a Celestial level Magician, and they hated him for it. Arlen built a stone slab and laid on it, closing his eyes for possibly the last time.

The first thing Arlen Felt as his eyes opened was the soul crippling weakness of being empty. Many people know the feeling of being emotional wasted and broken, this was much like that but on a physical and spiritual level. His magic was all but gone as he sat up forcing his muscles to move after Eras of being still. A heavy layer of dust had settled on the dark cold floor. His eyes already adjusted to the pitch black chamber he was trapped in. He pushed him self up and stood stretching as he attempted to send his mind out, feeling a force push against him like a slap in the face. The magic barrier in the stone around him had weakened tremendously but even in its weak state he was lesser then it, he had truly fallen to rock bottom. He summoned up as much magic as he could in himself as shot out of his body having to physically guide the energy through his body into the stone as a flare or fire fired from his finger tips he found himself concentrating harder then he had in a long time, focusing and condensing the magic like a Hydraulic-press would. He was forced to do this due to his low Magic storage. He saw the rock heat and it lit a spark inside of him, pushing harder as the magic fire purified and became almost clear in its heat he pushed into the rock as it liquefied, moving upward into the rock. he would dig out, even if it took another century. Something on the surface world had stirred his slumber and whatever it was called to him.

Magic was back. True uncorrupted Magic. Arlen was hungry to taste it again.

Sora removed his cloak revealing his armor and the glow over his chest centered on his Dragon Heart. "Just curious about what you Snowlanders are up to." Sora replied embers of flames escaping his mouth as he spoke.

"I know who you are... Dragon Heart Paladin..." Avael said, the temperature int he room dropping significantly. "Tell me, why is a Britannian Major all the way out here in Japan? Armed to the teeth no less." He added, as ice began creep across his armour, adding more protection to the strong cold forged titanium plates. "Not to mention in the country that happens to be my country's ally and trade partner. I find that peculiar and I don't like that. What about you Omhi-San? Do you like that?"

"No Avael-San. Not one bit." The old bartender replied holding up a phone. "Shall I call the MPs?" He asked getting a nod from the young frost.

"Within the next five minutes, the entire Island will be on lock down as both Japanese Defence forces and Frost Military swarm the place. i suggest you cooperate." Avael said as the rest of his squad followed his example and soon, the other four were coated in a condensed layer of blue Ice, some of them even forming blades on their arms. "Unless you wish to start a diplomatic shit-storm between our three nations."

Django paced restlessly around the garden, his mind on other matters. Matters like the vision that had led to him leaving his homeland and the recent events, how they were linked. Feeling a bit anxious, Django put his hand on his sword's handle, it's comforting steel hanging in a scabbard at his waist. Turning his attention to the view, he considered how far from home he was. This place was nothing like The Freelands, lush and full of life, with a comfortable temperature. It made him a tad jealous, he admitted to himself. Shifting his attention from the greener grass, DJango turned his gaze to the other guests. Many of them gave off a strong disposition, leaving impressions of strong warriors. It sent shivers down Django's spine, his blood called to challenge them and their mettle.

Reigning in his impulses in and removing his hand from his sword's hilt, he returned to the center table of the summit. Truly he wasn't entirely sure what the Hong Group's agenda was here, this mess was so chaotic he hadn't had a chance to seriously discuss it with Threia. Taking a seat at the table and lounging on it, Django decided to take a relatively neutral route unless he got orders to the contrary. He'd try to negotiate a deal where his branch would provide weapons to the combatants, without providing direct military support. Sneaking a glare at the Sentinel representatives, he wondered if they were invited here to create a "bidding war." After all if he did land a arms supply deal, it would be quite lucrative, but it would be a similarly juicy prize for them. Reclining in his chair, Django decided to wait and see what happened next. He idly wondered if his boss was around.

"We have our reasons for doing what we do two people can do the same thing for different reasons. But why do you care if you hurt those people who force you into hiding? You belong with others who are like you and won't mistreat you, your home, and your kin unlike far too many humans these days. Come brother join us in our crusade to right the wrongs done to us!" Shizuku replied transforming into his true mizuchi form and beckoning for Ishida to climb onto his serpentine body.

Once again at a crossroads. The past week taught him much, but the mizuchi was right. He was limited on what he could do without revealing his yokai nature. Perhaps he could find a place among other yokai. For a while at least, he still had his dreams of seeing the world. "Alright... I'll go with you."  With that, Ishida climbed on to his back and awaited his next destination. 'I hope I haven't chose wrong...'

Hyakki Yagyo

Shizuku in his mizuchi form with Ishida on his back flew up towards the yokai ship in the blast mist that was the aura of yokai melding with it each other. "What is your name brother?" the mizuchi asked on the way up. As he neared the ship one could see the ship was also a yokai a rare kind known as a takarabune, different from that race of yokai who are born of hundred year old inanimate object as this race were specifically flying yokai ships. The mizuchi landed onboard with Ishida just as the Hyakki Yagyo seemed to change course and accelerate towards the south. The world visible through the edge of yokai aura cloud turn to a blur as the Hyakki Yagyo speed towards their destination.

"Our leader, Lady Kaguya Ngitsune joined us on this trip. She's within the ships cabin, she would like to meet our newest brother." The mizuchi said waiting for Ishida to dismout before shifiting back his human appearance.

Sora Knightwalker

Doesn't he know the Japanese Defense forces where annhilated, but if someone they believed to be the Japanese Defense forces answered then the coming swarm will be... A red aura of dragon magic radiated from Sora as he slowly waved his sword covered in flames from one Frost to the next warding them off. "Britannia to date has had no interest in conquering the Snowlands, don't give us  a reason to. Besides you say that like I would come here all by my lonesome without reinforcements of my own. Though you may not like the third party that is likely to show up." Sora replied.

Sora could here on his earpiece a transmission from the Expeditionary Forces. "We have detected a large number of what we have identified as hostile moving towards your location." Sora sighed trying to decide between running out or fighting his way out. He had no interest being caught in a raid by the Hyakki Yagyo.

"Sit down, and Put away your weapon before you stab yourself in the foot..." Avael growled before nodding to his comrades. Without a word, the four began to disarm. "Now tell me why you are here, and maybe we can come to an un-." He stopped mid sentence when, chatter over his COM unit interrupted him. Confusion graced his features, quickly followed by surprise, then finally rage. "Major... You best know how to use that blade... Because as of right now, we're allied..." He growled Turning to one of his squad-mates, a Frost Woman, with a jagged scar across the center of her face. "Sergeant, Alert the Ice Runner, and her crew, We've got incoming hostiles."

The Temperature in the room dropped to below freezing in a matter of seconds, as Ice rapidly spread across their armoured forms, making them look like ice behemoths. "Brothers and sisters, Today we avenge our Japanese Allies. And spill yokai blood..." Without another word, the five charged out of the bar leaving the Britannian to choose whether to join them or flee. To Avael and his men, this was about a manner of honor, and vengeance for their friends and ally. "All units, Prepare to defend the village. Let no Yokai Bastard take this bay. Any Survivors will be Blood Eagled... So make sure a few survive for that." Avael growled over his COM unit. The sound of battle cries filled the air as the Soldiers of the Ice Runner prepared for battle. Same went for the remnants of the JDF on the Island.

Yoshi "Nanashi" Nanase

"Hey, Mikado?" Nanashi whispered to her older cousin, curiosity evident in her voice. "Why are we here?" She asked, her eyes darting across the crowd.

"Protecting the sanctity of the Summit." Mikado said simply. "Through our own means, of course." He added, almost as if it was an afterthought.

"Why did you bring me here, though?" Nanashi questioned as she pointed at herself, tilting her head to the side in a near miniscule manner. "Couldn't Yuuto-san, Kiri-san, or Aira-san help?"

"The three of them are busy with their own tasks." Mikado replied with a soft smile crossing his lips. "Aside from them, you have been deemed the only one who is capable enough for this." He finished, expression ever unchanging.

Nanashi nodded, satisfied with the answer given to her, though in actuality, she was unsure of her so-called "capabilities". Of course, she had helped the government a few times, but that surely wasn't enough to be recognized as a skilled person. They were just a few menial tasks too, and there were other more able people aside from her. At times, she wonders what the others see in a person like her.

"Our leader, Lady Kaguya Ngitsune joined us on this trip. She's within the ships cabin, she would like to meet our newest brother." The mizuchi said waiting for Ishida to dismout before shifiting back his human appearance.

"My name is Ishida from the Inugami clan. We've been living peacefully in secret for a long time, or so the elders told me. I felt something change a while back, something I can't really describe, but it made me want to see the world for myself. So I left." Hopping off the dragon, Ishida looked around in wonder, his tail twitching with excitement despite himself. "Leader, huh? Anything I should be careful of?" He wasn't unaware of his lack of social etiquette but jumping headfirst into a fight thinking it was a game had simply reinforced it.

Hyakki Yagyo/Okinawa

Shizuku replied to the Inugami "Well Ishida of the Inugami clan, try not to be rude to our master Lady Kaguya. Don't act boldly or rashly towards her and use your common sense. The rest will fall into place." The Mizuchi then left Ishida to go stand at the mast of the ship. The Hyakki Yagyo began to slow down as it seemed they were nearing their location so the world outside of their stormy black aura began to fade from a blur to regular rushing view as they gunned towards Okinawa. The vanguard of the yokai were likely already beginning their raid of the island.

Sora only lowered his still flaming blade when the Frosts began to disarm themselves. Sora had no interest in being caught in the raid so he replied "Apologies but it's advised by my comrades that I escape and not get caught in a battle with the Hyakki Yagyo. With that Sora was about to make his exit before he noticed his ears started ringing like loud bells ringing and everyone else in the bar would experience it as well. Then it summed suddenly an entire side of the bar was gone as a skeleton fifteen times the size of an average person loomed over the not destroyed half.

According to legend, this particular yokai is a Gashadokuro who can remain invisible and undetectable till they strike with the only warning being a loud ringing in the victim's ears. Normally they target people when they are alone but then again this Gashadokuro must be with the Hyakki Yagyo. "Hungry!" it said before raising it's hand to strike again. Sora gripped his weapon and then dragon wings sprouted from his back? he took off into the air to try and face the yokai at its own height. The Gashadokuro swung at him and Sora banked away and flew around the hand before releasing an arc of fire at its face, the Gashadokuro shrugged off the flames unhurt by them and began giving off an intense yokai aura.

The Summit

At the Summit two important invitees finally made their appearance both giving off a powerful yokai aura but neither deemed a threat by the Onmyouji all though some guests were unhinged by the appearance of yokai. One had the form of man carried a sword the other had horns and had the form of a woman. They checked in and proceeded to tour the rest of the Garden like everyone else. In truth both these yokai were only half yokai and half human but yet exerted yokai aura akin to a full blooded and powerful yokai.

Raikou had to see the spectacle for himself and observed the pair from afar. he wondered what they were doing here and invited by the Onmyouji no less. He hoped the onmyouji would have a good reason for this and also hoped the guests would keep their cool.

Another high profile guess arrived after the two half yokai and it was the White Warrior Mikoto by invitation of all Five heads of the Five Great Onmyouji Clans. He brought with him several warriors all different from each other likely a band of warriors he handpicked himself to fight by his side. He of course carried a Godsend but what made him even more valuable he knows where two other active Godsends are. This would likely be tempting for those seeking to access the Godsends and obtain their power.

"Not boldly or rashly huh? Aw man... I have a bad feeling about this." Turning in the other direction, away from the mizuchi, he took about five steps total before he realized something very important. "Where am I supposed to meet this Kaguya lady again?" He wondered if he should ask Shizuku, but the water yokai looked busy. With a shrug he decided to just wander about the ship towards anything that looked like an entrance to something important. "Hmm... did he forget to tell me, or was I not paying attention again?"

Gunfire filled the air as Avael and his men opened up on the Gashadokuro. Explosions splashed across the massive Yokai as Avael fired upon it with his Hardballer, the runs etched into the weapon glowing brightly with each pull of the trigger, charging each round fired with explosive energy. "Mina, Ulfric! Get a lens made up! Burn the bastard!" He barked getting a nod from the two commandos, who set to work crafting a massive lens from pure ice. The construct to shape quickly as the two worked. Within seconds the basic icy lens was complete. Using his stronger connection to the ice, Avael began to manipulate the lens even at an even finer level, creating microscopic mirrors to focus what would soon become a solar death-ray. Upon Final completion, The three focused the mirrors, directing a beam of concentrated sunlight at the massive yokai's face. The beam struck true, hitting the Yokai in the eye socket. The creature screamed in pain, as the solar beam blinded it, burning into it's skull  "Keep it on it! Burn the beast!" he roared before turning his attention back to the remaining two squad-mates. "Draw weapons! Prepare for melee combat!" He barked drawing Harbinger from it's scabbard. The other two followed his example, a look of hunger in their eyes. Hunger for combat.

The three Charged the Gashadokuro, screaming like wild animals as they worked themselves up into a Berserker rage, Avael firing his sidearm as he lead the two into the fray. "FOR THE IMPERATOR, AND HIS REPUBLIC!" He bellowed, getting cries for blood from his companions followed by the own response.

"AND FOR THE SNOWLANDS!"

Kaguya Ngitsune

Ishida would eventually enter a room where a young japanese woman in all black and with black hair sat upon a cushion with nine white tails curling around her. Next to her was a being that resembled a baku likely a halfblood yokai as it was humanoid except giant red and had two tusks edging upwards out of his mouth, even stranger was that he has an AM weapon on his wrist. It was the red giant who spoke up first. "Welcome, you must be the inugami Shizuku found. You are currently in the presence of Lady Kaguya Ngitsune the Master of this 100 Demon Night Parade."

Ishida would feel an overwhelming respect for the kitsune. Little did he know this has to do with how a kitsune like her can command a Hyakki Yagyo as normally only a Nurarihyon could do that. Kaguya herself looked at Ishida with piercing eyes intensifying her subtle influence of her presence upon him.

Sora Knightwalker

Sora watched the Frosts unload on the Gashadokuro which seemed to just be testing their might by how it let them just barrage it. Then he saw what might have been a smile on its face had it had actual face. He watched the Gashadokuro lash out with insane speed smashing the ice mirror and only then did he notice the creature was still unhurt. The Gashadokuro opened its mouth and concentrated yokai aura into its mouth before unleashing a beam of yokai aura which it first used to the Frosts who made the ice lens while simultaneously swinging its arm to slap away three Frosts attempting to charge towards it.

Sora hung back and began to notice that lesser Gashadokuro had fallen upon the village he watched at the ate civilians and residual JDFs. Sora radioed his detachment. "I am stuck in the middle of Hyakki Yagyo's raid of Okinawa. What are my orders?"

"Your not gonna like this but your orders are to stand and fight as long as possible. R&D division feels you should collect as much information on youkai as possible. They say its neccessary for Project Amalgam, the same project that yielded you your Dragon Heart. Sounds like they intend to use youkai for the project as well. Try and help the locals we have a representative attending a Summit held by a native Japanese power that has attracted many ears." The operator replied.

Sora left the Gashadokuro the Frosts were fighting to Frosts and sped off to go fend for the villagers against the lessr Gashadokuro.

Seeing the arm coming at him and his brothers, he quickly hit the dirt. To say the same for his comrades, was not the case, as the Gashadokuro swatted them aside like flies, as the other two were blown apart concentrated yokai aura. If Rage was what Avael felt before, what he felt now was blind righteous fury. Getting to his feet, the Frost known as Ice-Veins roared. Ice and snow blanketed the area, as high winds whipped up creating a white-out of razor sharp ice and snow. Ice six inches thick covered the bay creating a perpetual winter for leagues around. Seething, Avael charged, with one thought on his mind. Kill.

Closing the distance, Avael cleaved into the Yokai's leg with Harbinger, screaming in absolute hatred. The blade cut through the bony figure with ease, it's enchantment causing rapid spread of ice, freezing it and the marrow. Following up his strike with a gauntlet clad fist to the frozen, brittle bone, shattering it. Razor sharp ice, slashed and froze everything it touched that wasn't of Frost Blood or Yuki-Onna.

Hearing the arrival of some new invitees, Django turned his head to see them. From the moment his eyes laid on them he felt in his bones, he knew. These were monsters. His hands flew to his weapons and his sword was halfway through being drawn when he got control of himself. Glancing around, he noticed that no one was acting with alarm other then him. Begrudgingly, he admitted that they must belong here. Very slowly he returned the sword to its sheath and stood back down. Glaring at them, he kept his right hand on his gun as he returned to state of relative rest. He still couldn't believe these vermin were tolerated in the world at large.

It was strange. His arms and legs felt heavy, like any moment he would buckle from the sheer overwhelming urge to prostrate himself before her. As it was he dipped his head low, the eye contact he had made intensifying the feeling, "Um.. I.. hello Lady Kaguya. I am Ishida Inugami." Something about this felt off to him. His mother had once told him about the different types of Yokai, but at the present moment, he couldn't remember what she'd said about kitsunes.

Kaguya Ngitsune

"Inugami? Judging by your demeanor you can't be a first generation Inugami. Do you know that most first generation yokai are born out of the evils and cruelty of mankind."  Kaguya explained. "To make an inugami one must bury a common pet dog up to its neck and place food and water near but unreachable to the poor thing, then let the dog perish fro  dehydration and starvation. The head is then severed and buried beneath a busy street. It is then dug up and used in dark rituals to create an inugami."

Okinawa/Hyakki Yagyo

The Gashadokuro jumped on its remaining leg away from Avael and over to the dead bodies of the Frosts it swatted. It scooped up their bodies and devoured them, the sound of which gave of the sickening crunch of bones cracking. The Gashadokuro now in a quadrapedal position prepared to attack again before it said in surpirse "Houjuu?"

Standing on top of the Gashadokuro's skull was another yokai in the form of a Nue. It had an ape's body but a snake for a tail. "Kimimaro, go eat so you can repair yourself." said the Monkey head and then the snake head commented "Besides your opponent looks fun, been a while since I had some fun." The Gashadokuro let out a short groan before leaping high and through the air to the port.

The Nue, Houjuu, stood facing Avael. "Apologies, Kimimaro isn't as adept with youjutsu as one of the 100 should be. You will find I am much different, or you can back out now flee to your ship. I will not try to stop you. Afterall you have a Summit to go to." Houjuu explained. The nue gave us a powerful yoki as it performed its Big Stick Diplomacy.
