I'd like to say Snake would end up dancing with someone, somehow, but like you said, his age is getting to him. And in more ways than one. I think it'd be nice to see Snake and Samus dance to. I don't remember it myself, but I read that he tried to spit game at Samus when they first met in Brawl. A "one for the road" type thing seems like something he'd pull.

Especially after having already finished the mission while everyone was enjoying themselves, and having a few minutes before they all get found out.

In the old Brawl RP, Mewtwo kept referring to Pit as "Little Boy," and it drove him crazy to the point that he was shouting at Mewtwo to stop calling him that. Samus decided to pour salt on the wound by telling him that he IS a little boy, even using her hand to indicate the height difference between herself and the angel. Boy was salty for a bit after that!
