The princess of the Fairy kingdom, and only daughter to Serenity. She, like her mother, was relatively shy, and had few friends. Alta, a normal Light fairy from the surrounding city, was her closest friend. After it was discovered that Elana was looking into Dark magic out of curiosity, her mother had her imprisoned and taught that this was the wrong path to take, after several previous warnings had failed. This backfired, however, as the hatred Elana harbored towards her own people corrupted her, transforming her into a Dark Fairy.
During her imprisonment, she has forgotten many of the spells she once knew. The ones she has retained are basic spells, and enchantments to the fairy dust that falls from her wings. She also knows a binding spell that takes the form of dark tendrils that appear from her wand.
