Fantasy The Accident

She didn't say a word she toke a hold of her hand and started to walk to the other people thinking. She couldnt answer her questions because she didn't even know what happen.

Leira had been working at the gun shop when the explosion came. When she woke up, half the store was collapsed and people everywhere were dead. She groaned as she lifted herself off the floor. Her head throbbed and she touched her figertips to the place where it the most, her hands coming away bloody. At the sight of the blood she felt a sharp painful twinge in her gut, "Ng! I...I have to get home!" She looked over the counter for her things and cringed when she found her managers head crushed under the gun cabinet. She grabbed her bag and started for home. Of course when she got there she was going to grab her mother and leave. Her father couldnt stop them this time. She was panting when she got there, her house didnt look to torn up from the outside. "Mom!" She ran up the stairs and checked around the house, "Leira?" It was her fathers voice. Great...she came around the corner ready to tell him off when she noticed her mothers limp and bloodied body on the floor. "NO! MOM!" Tears stung her eyes as she looked form her mothers body to her fathers face. It was bruised and bloodied, "You did this..didnt you?" He was silent, "Didnt you!!??" He held clenched his fist, "Your going to join her soon enough..you worthless excuse for a child!" When he lunged for her she didnt know what to do, it almost came like a second instinct. She didged his attacks at first, a low gutteral sound coming from her throat. "You killed her you bastard!" Her eyes looked into him, almost like the flames of hell were coming out to drag him away. He punched her in the face and almost threw her off balance, but she bounced back and scratched at his eyes leaving wide bloodied gashes. He screamed and tackled her, dislocating her shoulder but she didnt stop. She tore and scartched at him with her free hand, panting and not stopping until they were both soaked with blood. By the time it was over, her fathers body looked like it was mauled by a dog. She was panting and her hands were bruised from punching. She felt no pain at the moment, and she felt no sorrow or anger or confusion. Her eyes were dilated black slits in her bright burning red eyes. "Well mom....we are free now.." She sat in the kitchen and listened to the outside through the shattered window.

Leo heard some commotion a little bit away. He said "Hey guys! I think there's another survivor over there, c'mon lets go." He waved them over and ran towards the sound of the voice. As Leo noticed a person he shouted "Hey! Are you okay?!" As Leo ran closer some of the lights that still functioned in the house flickered wildly. @MorticiansDaughter

Kene woke, later in the day, standing up against the pole. Her lips were parched and her body stiff. Pulling her arms close, she wandered, her limp worse than before. She spotted the group walking farther into the distant. No. She managed a quicker pace, at the expense of terrible pain resulting from her fracture. She wanted to call out, but her voice wouldn't come, breaths to shallow and staggered to conjure a yowl of any sort.

Leira noticed the few lights still working were acting up but she simply ignored them. Waiting to see if another disaster would strike when she heard a mans voice outside. She stood up and a few drips of blood hit the floor. Her clothes were stained beyond help and the pain in her arm started to take its toll. Cringing as she looked out the window with a frown. She didnt think about how many people had survived this tragedy and knew people "probably searching for survivors. She looked over at her fathers carcass and grinned. She could easily make her way through this new life. She walked out of her house and looked down the street at the guy who was calling her way, "I have a dislocated arm..." She held it with her free arm and wondered how beat to shit she looked.

The first thing Mia registered was how cold he was. It was a mind numbing coldness that soaked into his bones making him numb. Then there was light. It fluttered over his closed eyes awakening his drowsy mind. Opening his eyes he found himself gazing up at a clear blue sky surrounded by the debris of his home.

Alarm shot through him and he sat up gazing around with wide eyes. Buildings were torn to shreds, debris covered the street, and cars were flipped on their sides. The only reason he recognized it as his neighborhood was his family's mailbox. A birdhouse painted neon colors. Frantically he crawled to his feet and flew towards what was left of his home ignoring the warm crimson soaking through his t shirt. He couldn't feel it anyway.

Frantically he threw aside debris trying to find someone anyone. Though deep down somehow he knew that no one was near. Living at least. He dug and dug ignoring the warmth of tears as they streamed down his face. He tried to deny what he already knew. Tried to believe that his family was alright but all that hope vanished when he found his younger sisters body crushed under some debris where her room used to be.

Crimson stained her pink dress darkening it to a dark garnet color and her blue eyes were wide and blank. In her arms she clutched her old pink bunny covered in stitches from where it was ripped. Falling to his knees beside her he brought her into his arms and began to sob as he stared into her face through blurry eyes.

"Why?" He muttered through his sobs." Why you? Why did this happen?"

Throwing his head back he let out a scream full of all of his grief and sadness that had been building in his chest since he woke up. "AAAAHHHHH!"

Dante followed Leo to the new girl. He spoke out loud, "Ok. We all have to figure out what happened. First of all, who are yall? And do any of you know what's is going on?" He started to wave around his arms and started to feel like the only one curious about what had happened. He immediately thought of his wife and almost started to cry again. He quickly shook her away from his mind, although it wasn't easy.

As Victoria took her hand, she looked at a group of people, with one girl and two guys. She let Victoria take her toward them. When she was close enough Luciana heard one of the guy saying something, but she couldn't make out what he said.

"....any of you know what's going on?" It was the only part she could hear clearly as she get closer to them.

@DemonicPrincess @Kiotaro

Kene, finally came within a decent distance of the group. "Hey!" She called out, finding the air in her lungs to conjure the sound. Stumbling, she rested on a somehow, still standing light post. Looking towards the survivors, hoping they heard her frail words.

Mia gasped for air as his screaming came to a stuttering halt. Clenching his eyes shut for a momant he bowed his head as he got up and slowly carried his sisters body to a spot clear of Debris. He wouldn't be able to burry her not with how much stuff covered the ground but the least he can do is cover her up with something and lay her to rest next to their parents bodies. Once he finds them that is.

He found their corpses nearby buried under debri. They had died in each others arms. Their eyes were closed so he wouldn't have to see their blank gazes. Moving them one by one to were his sister-Amy- lay was difficult but he accomplished it. He found a nearby tarp and was about to cover them up with it when he realized something. Amy's eyes were still open.

Clenching his teeth he kneeled down to slide them shut doing his best to ignore the tears that landed on her face as he did. Hurriedly he covered them not able to stand the sight anymore. The urge to vomit almost became to great.

Glancing at their covered forms once more he whispered goodbye before turning to began making his way down the street. He wanted to get far away from the wreckage. The scent of death.

After what seemed like hours of Walking without a single sign of life he sensed it. There were others nearby. Ignoring his instincts saying something was off something was wrong he began running toward were he felt them. Soon he spotted a group of people and relieved began to wave."Are you all alright?!"

Kene, spotting Mia, gave a wave. "Hey!" The pain in her leg was unbearable, and digging into her lip was the only thing stopping her from tears. She didn't doubt another few steps would send her to the ground in pain. Someone, anyone who could offer a little weight of the leg would be a hero in her eyes.

Mia saw Kene and was immediately alarmed. Her leg looked terrible! Quickly he hurried over to her and through one of her arms over his shoulder his right arm wrapping itself around her waist to help take some of the weight off her leg. It was amazing she had even been walking in the first place.

Kene felt tears form along her water line. "Thanks," she whispered, the pain still present and kicking, but greatly reduced. She leaned into Mia, beyond thankful of his help. "The group," she added, looking at the other survivors only a block away.

Kormax stifled a groan as he slowly drifted back to consciousness. He opened his eyes and blinked through the blurry vision until he could see clearly again.

The fist though that registered in his mind was that the scientists from the lab had found him, but then he realised that they wouldn't have tried to kill him, but rather capture him alive.

He slowly got up and brushed all the debris from his coat and winced in pain when his left arm stung. It seemed as though he had dislocated his shoulder judging from the cracking sound emanating from it as he moved it.

But as he started to walk away, he realised that his shoulder wasn't the only part of him that hurt. His face was burning, he felt like he had been severely bruised, but he knew not to touch a wound he couldn't see, and plus, he couldn't feel any of the wetness that would signify dripping blood.

After walking for a short distance, Kormax stopped when he heard voices.

"Hey" The voice sounded female to Max, but it didn't sound like any of the female scientists from the lab though, but that didn't mean that he couldn't be on alert. He waited for a moment, hiding in the shadows as a young man showed up and rushed over to an obviously injured young woman, from his quick observation, it was clear that they didn't know each other but they didn't try to kill one another either.

Kormax decided that he needed some help if he was to hide from the scientists, and what better people to help him than these who seem to be in as much of a bad shape as him. With this in mind, he walked out of his shadow and started towards them, not even sure what to say first and deciding that he will allow them to speak first as to not waste their time.

Mia smiled at the girl gently stubbornly ignoring the pain in his own chest. There will be time to deal with that later. The bleeding had already stopped so it probably wasn't very bad."No problem." Carefully he began walking toward the group.

Kene, focused on each step, did not notice the boy until he was right by them. She looked over her helpers shoulder. "We have company," she whispered, not on purpose, but just to avoid a whimper from escaping her lips. She would be happy when she could sit and get her leg some well needed attention.

Mia glanced at Max shooting him a hesitant smile. He had sensed him approach so wasn't surprised."I know." He whispered back picking up his pace slightly. He didn't think she would last much longer on that leg of hers.

"I'm sorry to have wasted your time. I am Kormax." Max decided that perhaps this was one of those times when he should say something. The two in front of him were picking up pace and he didn't want to be left behind.

"Do you need any help, two people helping her might make the journey swifter." He offered, totally ignoring the burning pain on his face.

Kene, oblivious at the moment didn't respond, her heart beating frantically in her chest. The feeling of a headache washed over, her leg now numb. A shiver ran down her side, as her vision grew blurry. Kene felt her hand grip tight to Mia's arm. "I don't feel good," she whispered. She had been a cross country runner for years, but not even the best endurance makes up for blood loss.

Victoria brought Luciana closer in a protective way." We where going to ask the same thing." She said not telling them their names not sure if they could be trusted. After deciding they could be help she ran fingers through her messy hair.

" Well I'm Victoria and this sweetheart is Luciana and you guys are?" She said the pulsing in her brain slightly coming back do she faked a smile.

"No need." Mia shook his head looking at Max warily. Something about him seemed off. As though he was hiding something. Shaking those thoughts off he swept Kene into his arms bridal style then took off in a run toward the group. Hopefully one of them had some salt on them though it was probably unlikely.

Max was a little confused now, he thought he was being polite before, but he should have known better than to speak first, now he wasted their time. But his face was in pain and he needed help, so much so that his shoulder felt like a distant tickle.

Max picked up his pace as well, 'no matter what happens, stick with them, don't let them disappear, you need their help if you are to survive.' He mentally told himself.

((Haha I will just join your group))

Dante saw another group of people and ran over there, the feeling of each step making a slight tremor in his body and the sound was almost unbearable. He finally got to them and said, "do any of you know what the h*ll is going on? Everything hurts." He said rubbing his head.

Max was immediately on alert as he saw yet another stranger show up. But once the new comer asked his question, Max knew that he was no threat to him.

"I don't know, I was only in this city for a short while before the explosion took place."

"No idea." Mia shook his head." I was heading out to head to work then suddenly everything went dark. When I woke up everything was d..destroyed." His voice shook as he said the last part his heart felt like it was being squeezed as he remembered how he woke up.
