Realistic or Modern Silver Gates Institute

Seraphina couldn't stop herself from smiling at that. She'd never had an older sister before or any siblings in fact; she'd caused enough problems when she was born and her parents had decided not to risk another child. But now she had Big Sister Delaney! She hoped they got to do sisterly things like braiding each other's hair and making friendship bracelets and trying to kill each other.

"You'll be the best older sister ever, Delaney." Seffy smiled, "Not that I have anyone to compare you to. Younger sister's tend to run in my family, not older ones." In fact, she didn't think there'd been an older sister in her family ever. There was always an older brother and a younger sister and that was your lot. It was a miracle for her- the firstborn- to be born a girl.

"Does anyone know how long we have to wait out here?" Seraphina asked, "I'm beginning to get bored."

"No we have been standing here for awhile. Im going to go ask the super attandent." He walked over to the women who seemed to be in control of this whole operation. "Um excuse me when are going to actually go in the building."

@Saturnity

Zeke was about to reply when suddenly something caught his attention. Looking over he saw the girl from before in the garden along with sculptures of what appeared to be the new students. He looked around for himself, only to find a half-angel and half-demon beast. Without saying anything, Zeke marched over to her.

"Take that one down. Now." he commanded as he pointed to the sculpture of what was supposed to be him. "I don't care about the other ones, just take that one down" he added.

Why is little Zeke scared Of himself Ebony replied curling her leg around Zeke's muscular torso. Seeing he wasn't impressed she activating one of her powers and started to change into the women of his hearts desire kissing his chest and lips passionately

Zeke was caught by surprised as the girl suddenly threw herself on him and changed shape kissing him as she did so. He stood there frozen for a good minute before snaping back to reality, he pushed her off of him anger bubbling inside him. "That crap wont work on me so easily. Now take the damn thing down or i'll rip it apart with my own hands" Zeke growled anger oozing out of him and making evrything tense.

agh alright ebony sighed flicking her finger and making all of the rose petals fly in a hurricane towards Zeke By sexy she said sashaying away from him. She approached Horus and started talking to him "what's your deal," she said while she shoved her tongue down his mouth as casually as giving someone a handshake she turned on her charm speak to her highest level knowing that zeke had talked to Horus probably warning him about her being a siren. @Ninja God

(Okay. Im sorry. Or.. not really that sorry.. but doss your introduction have to involve only guys, and shoving a tongue down their throats? Not to be rude, but its a little irritating)

Horus was taken by a strange feelin g and didn't know how to react when the gilr shoved he rtounge down his throat. He felt dizzy and hot what was this girl doing to him. OH NO, she's going to bring Carter out but he couldn't get her to stop and he blacked out.

Carter opened his eyes to a girl kissing him. He pushed her away with a telekenetic wave. "Horus always attracted trouble, by now you all should know who I am. I'm pretty sure he told you what happens when he blacksout." He looked at his surrounding "Oh so were still outside what a bore let's trvael inside shall we" He walked int o the huge white building and walked into what seemed to be the main lobby. "Staff please escort us to our rooms, I'm getting tired of the bullshit tour of the gardens. And you. Siren girl next time you try to seduce me It won't be a tounge being shove down your throath." And walked away.

"JUST **** OFF YOU ***** FISHES!" Gwen tried to move her arms but was unable to and only ended up making it worse for herself. She sank lower and was now up to her chin in the small pond. She hoped someone would notice her soon or that her powers would activate again. She could feel the fish swimming around her and knew that her white pants were utterly ruined. Her red shirt with a comedic depiction of the devil could be salavaged but the short white sneakers she was wearing would not stand a chance. "GET ME THE **** OUT BEFORE I **** BURN THIS **** PIECE OF **** **** TO THE **** GROUND!"

Raine watched as the other patients introduced themselves to each other, grinning quietly until the young siren woman flirtatiously introduced herself to the group, or more specifically, to the boy who'd dumped the plants on the staff members.

"Ah, Franklin," he whispered while picking the stitches on the back of his hand, "the Mask Lady has joined the party."

The excitement bubbled within him as he glanced to and from the new patients, and his picking grew steadily faster.

Eventually the new arrivals had split up and began meandering, with several of them journeying to the gardens. Raine blew a lock of hair from over his eyes.

"Aw... I guess it's over already. Well, I guess we can go play somewhere else now Franklin..." After glancing once more at the others in the area, Rain trotted off while retrieving the flesh golem that had been sitting upon his shoulder. Without warning, the boy heard the sound of swearing emanating from the pond that graced the institute grounds. Making his way over, Raine noticed a pale young woman struggling in the shallow water. Grinning, he waved to get her attention and called to her.

"Pale woman, why are you playing in the pond in your clothes? The fishes won't believe you're a fish even if you flail in the water..."

He tilted his head and noticed Gwen was slowly sinking while he observed her. He folded his arms and sighed.

"Alright everyone!" Carolyn spoke out, her smooth voice echoing through the air for all to hear. "I think our introductions have gone on long enough. We'll have enough time to get to know one another in the coming months, so for now, I'd like all of the new patients to meet in the front lobby for their room assignments. We will have dinner available afterward. Tomorrow, there will be assignments for counselors, and a tour of the campus, so make sure you get enough rest tonight."

Ending her announcement, Dr. Wallace waved to the bus driver that she was no longer needed, then turned to her staff and the other patients.

"Okay children, time to get back to routine. Any staff members that need a 'real' shower... go ahead and use our facility bathhouse."

Taking a glance back at the gardens, she sighed heavily.

That girl again...

"Dr. Silver, please have our young friend Ebony attend remedial counseling in the morning. It seems she has forgotten how to apply her lessons in 'Social Etiquette'."

An middle aged woman with grey streaked hair and an stoic demeanor stepped forward and patted Carolyn on the shoulder. "I will. It must be difficult to see one of your own kind struggle like this."

Carol sighed slightly, but waved her hand in dismissal.

"It's a stage for us sirens... I can say with clarity that all of our kind go through it." Turning her head toward the garden once more, she continued.

"Any youth is susceptible to outside influences, but internal ones are an entirely different matter. Dignity and self-control give way to our desires. As Sirens, we become victims of our power as much as those we seduce. In plain terms, we are seduced by our own abilities, and that lure of power is difficult to overcome."

The young administrator rubbed her cheek and laughed lightly.

"I apologize, it's unlike me to ramble. I guess I just feel a connection with her, having gone through the same thing myself. In any case, she'll come around eventually."

Dr. Silver nodded her head.

"You've become quite a woman Carol. There's no doubt about that. Anyway, I suppose it's time to go clean up, got a bit of dirt on my shoulder from that psion boy. Good luck with the new arrivals."

With that, she made her way to the front lobby of the Institute, then entered. Carol looked after while the rest of the remaining staff followed suit.

Quite a woman... hmm.

Seffy was muttering to herself under her breath, as she wheeled herself into the front lobby. Not in a psychotic way- though it could be percieved as psychotic, she supposed- but simply because she was voicing her thoughts aloud. Things made more sense when they were spoken. Everything here was extraordinarily white. Seraphina, who had been brought up surrounded by murder and darkness, visibly winced at the brightness. Wow, her eyes were going to have to adjust. She was thinking hard about what she'd overheard Carolyn Wallace and that other lady, a doctor or something, saying.

"Psion..." she muttered, liking how the word tasted in her mouth, "Psion..." It wasn't a word she'd heard before but she liked the way it sounded. It sounded powerful. It sounded strong. She knew that psi meant mind, which meant that they had to be talking about Carter/Horus. He moved things with his mind.

"Siren..." Seraphina repeated, disliking the way the word felt on her tongue, "Si-ren..." That was a word she knew. A siren was an ancient mythical creature- beautiful, alluring, deadly. Her Mommy had once been compared to one. Sirens drew in men using their looks and illusions. Then, they slaughtered the men. That must be what that girl from earlier was! The girl that had rammed her tongue down people's throats!

"Absolutely disgusting." Seraphina disgusted, "Mommy would never put up with somebody that behaved like that. Mommy would kill somebody if they behaved like that. So would Auntie Emarni." Her small hands clenched into fists. Both her mother and her aunt had been domineering women; strong feminists, violent murderers and beautiful as well as brave. Seraphina admired them greatly for their refusal to back down until the very end.

"I'll make them proud..." Seraphina decided. Her badly chewed nails dug into the palms of her hands and jolted her back to reality. She looked around her new home, unclenching her fists. It was hard to believe that she lived here now.

"Damn" muttered Zeke as he followed the crowd into the building. When he first climbed out of Hell two years ago and caught his first glimpse of Earth he thought it would be the most beautiful thing he'd ever see. Now, he was being proven wrong. It was nothing like the scorching heat and dark, dirty places he'd spent the majority of his life in. There were no screams of torture or cries for mercy yo keep you up at night. It was, compared to what Zeke had experienced in the past, paradise.

"You must have one hell of an interior designer" he muttered as he looked in awe.

"**** YOU! I CAN'T CONTROL MY POWER ******* AND ENDED UP IN THIS **** POND!" Gwen struggled more and only resulted in sinking further down into the pond. She was up to her bottom lip and was getting more angry with every passing second. "GET ME OUT OF THIS ***** POND!"

Carter watched as everyone came in. "Excuse me miss if that poor exscuse for a women is one of your patients i dont think im in the right place." Carter snarled So that bush incident wasnt enough to get him in solotary. I guess ill just have to keep making things worst for him. "Can i get room plz this is so not the service i ordered." Carter tapped the desk unpaitenlly.

Ebony headed inside her black hair flowing carelessly behind her everyone else seemed to be scared but to ebony she was grateful to have a place to sleep.

She picked up her files containing dorm room assignments when she felt something tingle in her mind it got stronger until she fell to her knees screaming and gasping for air them she saw the faces of the other patients disgust and collapsed.

Latro sat in the back of a car, a sleek, black thing, the kind of vehicle you'd expect to be toting around FBI agents on the hunt for some dangerous criminal. She wasn't paying much attention to the roads the were traveling, instead she was staring at her bare feet as she kicked the back and forth, idly passing the time as she waited out the, many hours long, car ride.

"Hello. Helllloooo, Hellooooooooo"
Her voice suddenly rang out, speaking for the first time in several months, her own voice being fairly unfamiliar to her as she both stretched her vocal processor, and practiced her greetings. She repeated herself a few times, not stopping until she was confident that she'd fully gotten a grip on her speech patterns, presumably plunging the driver halfway into madness as she reached the thirtieth attempt, on which she suddenly stopped as the car slowed to a halt.

"Goodbye"

She said as she hopped out of the car door, an audible sigh of relief sounding out from the drivers seat not long after she slammed the door shut. The first thing that hit her, among other thing, was just how colorful everything was, the assault of colors taking her off-guard, to the point where she had to stop a moment to just look at everything, dropping to her knees and running her fingers over anything, and near everything within reach. The green, prickly floor that seemed to carpet the outside of the building was especially interesting, just imagining all the little bugs and other creatures that could be running around in there sent her head spinning with delight.

After having properly stated her curiosity Latro continued to head inside, the crunching of the gravel path underneath her feet slowly being drowned out by the sounds resonating from the entrance of the building as she approached.

Stepping through the doors things already seem to be off to an interesting start, with several, what she assumed were other residents, already inside the lobby. Latro stayed quiet as she took everything in, her tail swishing back and forth as she looked over the others in the room, her eyes eventually stopping on a small girl, whom was sitting in some kind of wheeled chair, at whom she began to stare, trying to figure out just what that thing she was sitting on was supposed to be.

What a bunch of drama queens, Seraphina smiled to herself. Over dramatic people or people that tended to exaggerate a lot could be one of two things; am amusing/funny people that made Seraphina laugh or the irritating, immature, whiny people that made Seraphina sharpen a knife. These people were more the second time and the longer Seraphina spent with them, the more she wished that she had a weapon.

"Mhm?" She looked up as somebody else swept in. That was when she saw somebody staring at her. Having been crippled for quite a while now, Seraphina was used to being stared at. She was used to awkward questions. She was used to the strange looks, (especially when she was with her relatives, who were equally weird). But she hadn't seen this girl before- not on the bus and not outside.

"... Hello..." Seraphina muttered, so quietly that nobody could hear her. Then, she looked down again, feeling awkward. She hoped that when she looked up, the girl's gaze would be directed at somebody else.

"Hello" Latro chimed in response, and, not being not to recognize social queues, taking the girls mumbled greeting as an excuse to get a closer look at the weird chair she was sitting on as she edged closer, kneeling down around a meter away and softly prodding the rims of the chairs wheels with her tail.

"What... Is this?" She questioned the girl, returning her stare to her after ending her few moments of prodding a slight level of curiosity visible in her otherwise expressionless eyes.

Seraphina was taken aback, looking down at the girl in confusion. Was this girl, this tailed girl, a bit dim? Was she an alien or something? Maybe a demon? Please not demons, please not demons!

"It's... A wheelchair?" Seffy said, in confusion, "You've not seen one before? It's to help me move around because I can't use my legs anymore." She pointed at her scarred legs, "You've really not seen a wheelchair before?"

As he gawked at his sorroundings, another student walked into the lobby. Immediately, Zeke took a sniff of the air to try and determine what she was. Strangely enough, it wasn't anything he'd ever encountered before. Now extremely curious, he strolled over to the two girls hoping to fnd out exctly what she was. The other girl, the one in the wheelchair, also had an interesting scent to her. She smelled strongly of your typical vampire, but there was a hint of Elf as well.

(Hi guys I am going on a trip for 5 days and I don't know if I will have wifi if you need me just play my character )

"Wheelchair... No"

Wheelchair, a wheeled chair. So it was like a car then? You sit in it and it takes you places without you having to walk? Why would she need a car for the indoors? She knew some meat people had a hard time do things for too long but surely walking around wasn't outside of her limits. Maybe there was something wrong with her legs, not that she'd know though, as, since she'd lost her memory, she'd been learning everything again from the basics, and had only gotten talking down around six months ago, though her vocabulary had exploded as soon as she gotten the hang of it, but the workings of the human, and near-human body was something her teachers had neglected to tell her about.

"Why are you in a... Wheelchair? Is there something wrong with you?"

Gwen continued to struggle in vain and only succeeded in making it worse for herself. Her feet sank deeper into the bottom of the pond whilst fishes swam around her body. Her feet was submerged in the mud and was past her ankles but would not sink any further. She continued to swear in an angry manner and just wanted to get out of the pond before she started to burn. She had a limited resistance against the sun due to her fire power but it only meant that it would take longer for her to burn to death. She wasn't aware that she was a vampire and had mistook her grey hair as a sign of stress. "GET ME OUT YOU ****** ****!" She didn't mean to insult the boy but her anger was in control. "JUST ***** OFF YOU FISHES!" She had caught glimpses of other people entering the mansion and had accidentally swallowed some of the water due to her being up to her bottom lip. To make things worse, she needed to use the toilet and the water was not helping her.

@Saturnity.

Seffy sighed. She didn't like talking about her disability.

"You don't understand. I can't move my legs. I'm physically unable to. They're damaged." Seraphina explained, "I- I just can't move them, okay? If I tried to stand up, I'd fall over. So..." She winced, "Can we please talk about something else? Or not talk at all?" She chewed on her purple hair ribbon, frowning.

Weird. This girl was weird. Everyone else didn't have a problem answering her when she asked them things like that, it wasn't like talking about something could hurt you or anything was it? She still wanted to ask about her legs, but couldn't bring herself to do so after being asked to stop, so, disappointed, she changed the topic.

"I'm Latro, Hello" She huffed, moving the vision to focus on the girl's eyes, one of the few social queues she'd actually been taught "Why are you here? What's your magic?"
