Haruka.. Fondue Fountain .. Snacks.. Haruka.. Fondue Fountain .. Snacks.. Noelle kept repeating in her head to not forget her important tasks. Hana gave her a bright smile to which Noelle returned one as well. She put up both of her hands, waving goodbye to her two fellow hostesses as she stood up and made her way towards the guest that reserved time with her. "Thank you, Setsuna! Hana!" She told them happily as she parted ways - thankful for Hana's words of encouragement.

Her eyes were focused on the direction that the other hostesses were pointing to earlier, walking towards it slowly as it didn't look like anyone was there waiting for her yet. She must've been a bit too early for the appointment. No worries though, it just meant more time for her to eat. She grabbed a chair and sat it in front of the snack table - as if it was her personal lunch. Her hands pulled up her gloves higher so that they wouldn't fall while she grabbed for things. Her eyes were practically sparkling as she scanned which item to try first. Nothing gave her the rush that baked goods did - it was if she got a sugar high even before eating anything.

Her fingers grabbed for her favorite treat - a fruit tart. The girl let out a joyous squeal as she took her first bite. She happily continued to chew as her eyes finally looked up from the table to look for a cup of tea. In the end, she saw other tables with teapots but wasn't sure where they were from. Her lips formed a small pout as she didn't feel full satisfaction of her desserts without the company of tea. However, soon Haruka ended up arriving to their appointment.

Noelle stood up from her seat and greeted the boy, smoothing her dress down as she gave him a sweet smile. The boy was meek, but quite nice. They ended up having a short conversation together about how she put together her outfit for the event, and how she got into lolita fashion. "Well.. It's a bit of a long story." She told her visitor with a sheepish grin. Together, they took a few photos and shared a snack together - the usual thing she did with guests. Once his time was up, he politely left and Noelle was back to being on her own.

She took a seat once again in front of the dessert bar - her ideal spot for the event. She wasn't sure if she had more guests on a list waiting for her, so she went back to eating. This time, a classic strawberry parfait. Still, with her lack of tea to drink it wasn't as perfect as she dreamed. Noelle looked around in curiosity to see where the other hostesses were. She even thought about texting the group chat to ask where the tea was.

Sebastian Hart
Sebastian walked in and stopped at the doorway. He was wearing the normal school uniform "Sorry I'm late! I had a hold-up at home!" he said wiping the sweat from his brow. He indeed did have a situation. His brothers had decided that they wanted a home-cooked meal before he went. It turns out his sister wasn't home and he had to cook by himself. "Those stuck up stupid..." he muttered to himself, trailing off as he set his back down.

He looked across the sea of guests and chuckled nervously. "Of jeez, that's a lot of people." He thought to himself. He looked down at his rumpled uniform and sighed. He had forgotten his party clothes at home. He felt a pang of dread deep in his stomach. He glanced all around the room and sighed. He quickly adjusted his clothes and walked through the door.

KYOUYA OOTORI

Kyouya nodded in agreement with Setsuna's words as he surveyed the room. "In my experience, even the most well thought out plans usually end up as a rough framework." It was then that his eyes found the late addition: Sebastian. Kyouya frowned a bit, quickly checking the time. It was just past the half way mark. "Setsuna-san, I apologize, but would you mind waiting here for just a moment?" Kyouya stepped away from the hostess, quickly closing the distance between himself and the newest addition to the Host Club.

Kyouya calmed himself as he approached. While it was quite irritating, not to mention unprofessional, for Sebastian to show up so late, he was new to the club and a good kid. Plus, he was favored by Honey-senpai which added another layer of complexity to the situation. "Sebastian, a word?" he asked in a cool tone as he stopped beside the younger boy. Kyouya gestured toward a vacant portion of the room where privacy could be assured. Thankfully for the awkward host, Kyouya had taken many precautions in the planning of the event.

TAMAKI SUOH

While the princely host was quite devastated by Haruhi's rejection, she was just so cute! Her sweet smile was like rays of the warmest sunlight. And she always made sure to prioritize their dear guests. Tamaki wanted to fawn over her but knew that wouldn't be appropriate in the current circumstances. After all, if Tamaki accidentally referred to the natural type host as his 'daughter', people might start catching on to Haruhi's little secret, and that wouldn't do one bit.

Glowing with confidence, Tamaki turned back to the small mob that had formed around him in the few moments he had allowed himself to be distracted. "Oh, my dears, I simply cannot wait to dance with each of you! Unfortunately the night is only so long. But worry not, princesses, for there are many nights to come and I can't wait to share them with you!" His words went over just as expected with girls swooning and blushing and giggling. Tamaki loved that he could make them feel that way with just a few words. It was so nice to see how happy they were.

"For my first dance of the night, my current appointment: Yua Suzuki," Tamaki announced, gesturing widely to the girl in question. The appointment had been with her and two of her friends, but she was one of his regulars and he always tried to prioritize them. He wanted to make sure they knew that their loyalty did not go unnoticed. Tamaki extended his hand toward Yua, bowing as he took her hand and brought it to his lips for a chaste kiss. "Shall we dance my dear?" Yua's eyes were full of hearts as Tamaki swept her expertly on to the dance floor.

"Ah, yes your experience." The girl repeated, honestly she could use some more experience.

It wasn't that Setsuna didn't have faith in her ability to run things like the host club, but during big events like these, especially this one where they were with the hosts, she couldn't help but feel a bit less than. It was a feeling due to her mother always dropping her for something else and it was a feeling she couldn't seem to escape.

Even now.

With a raised eyebrow at his words, she nodded and released him, "No problem."

And it wasn't. She was upset that their dance was cut short, however seeing the way that the new host whose name she couldn't remember walked in, she'd be pissed too. Setsuna made her way off of the dance floor and back to her computer, taking a seat and glancing out to make sure no one seemed left out. The people who didn't have a host to dance with seemed to find another partner, which was good and made her job much easier. She was worried she'd have to dance with someone, and that was definitely not her scene.

Dancing with Kyouya was different, she liked him. Besides, he wasn't dancing with her because she had a pretty face or banging body like she'd been told plenty of times before, at least, she didn't think he was. Setsuna really didn't know all that much about him, in fact, for all she knew he could just be after her physically. Though, she'd have a hard time believing it with the way he reacted to that boy.

Then again, she was probably making all of this up in her mind, he probably didn't even see her that way. With a soft groan, she went back to her computer and checked the time, a little past the midway point. Things were going well for them. Setsuna decided to open up a new document, jotting down ideas for other events they could have, some together and some separately. Honestly, what she really wanted was a damn vacation, but she wasn't sure the rest of the girls would go for it.

Blonde locks of hair waltzed through the hallways, leaving a flowery scent behind ever so faintly. A humming voice softly echoed as she jogged towards the place where the host clubs’ event was going to take place. Already being extremely late for the occasion which was not unusual for her honestly, she was surprised she was even able to maintain at her position all together. Well, that might be due to her customer count which wasn’t all too low. Call it talent of her own? She chuckled as she thought about it that way, perhaps she was just too charismatic for the average person to handle. Those kinds of cheeky thoughts lingered inside of her head, pulling her away from reality until she could hear the noises coming out from the club room which indicated she was near to her target location.

The smell of delicious snacks sneakily crept inside of her nose which made her water tooth almost instantly, one of the perks of being a hostess was that she could enjoy these kinds of things however much she liked. Having received the 40’s style of clothing, it was a bit difficult for her to match as it wasn’t exactly her style. Eventually she went with a simple black dress that she tweaked a little to her own preference as the others were just way too dull.

Swinging the doors of the club room open nonchalantly, she uttered: ”I, Erena, have arrived!” The biggest of grins was plastered upon her lips as she scanned throughout the room carefully, already seeing the other hosts and hostesses present. Waving at them all too cheerfully with a small nod coming from her side. Once she made her introduction she made a beeline towards the snack table where Noelle was already seated. ”Wah, this looks so good.” She nearly sang as she gawked at all the different sorts of snacks being displayed in front of her. Taking one of the cheese cookies which oddly went well together. Her eyes immediately glimmering as the taste danced inside of her mouth and disappeared just as quickly.

Definitely one of the perks of being one of the hostesses at Ouran!

As Setsuna typed out another party idea, the doors opened to reveal none other than Erena, the hostess club's very own devilish type. She was late. With a huff, the brunette stood from where she was sitting and shut her laptop. She could never get any work done it seemed. From across the room she locked eyes with the girl, walking gracefully towards where she stood only to nearly pass out when she announced herself so brashly.

"You've got to be kidding me."

With a soft groan, Setsuna excused herself past a group of girls all watching Tamaki dance and then past a group of guys who checked her out which she chose to ignore for the time being. Her sights were set completely on Erena and when she finally made it to the table, the girl stood before her with a wicked glare in her eyes.

"Why the hell are you so late?" She hissed quietly, "This was a big deal Erena, it's the biggest party we've had yet and you think you can just waltz in? No, I'm sorry, waltz in and announce to everyone how late you are?"

She was fuming, and rightfully so in her opinion.

With a huff she turned her back to her, "Come on, this isn't the place for this conversation. We'll have it elsewhere."

Yep, she definitely wanted to hang around at the snack table but she felt a cold chill run up her spine the moment she gulped down the first piece. Ah, she already had a feeling about who it was... None other that Setsuna, the type she didn't really get along with from the get-go. Perhaps this could eventually turn out into a love-hate relationship but she doubted that would be the case, unless she was in some kind of manga. Honestly, it would be pretty cool if she was actually if she thought about it. Wiping of her hands for the incoming thread, heals could be heard clacking against the floor which were closing in rapidly.

The moment she turned around, she could see the brunette wide and clearly in front of her, already being scolded about the way she entered the club room. Well, it was her fault for being late as she had fallen asleep yet again in her classroom. No, wait. It was the teacher's fault for making the lesson so boring. Haha, who could she even fool with that kind of lame excuse. Keeping quiet as her face felt into a more default state, the more she listened to the other. "You know me..." She tried to say with a fake laugh, which definitely wasn't helping the case in any way.

"I'll be after you, mylady." Erena responded, bowing overly dramatic into Setsuna's direction, sticking her tongue out playfully which had become a habit in some cases.

Setsuna let out a groan and wiped a hand down her face, careful not to mess up the little bit of makeup she had on, "Yes, unfortunately I do have the pleasure."

Turning on her heels to go find some place quieter, the girl noticed Erena's tongue and it only frustrated her more. Why couldn't she take this thing serious? Sure she was one of their most popular hostesses, but that didn't mean anything if she couldn't follow the few rules they had! Leading the girl into an empty classroom she turned back to face her, arms crossed over her chest.

"Now do you actually have a valid reason for being late or is it just some half-assed excuse?" Setsuna asked plainly, raising an eyebrow.

She wished she had her clipboard to jot down the reason, however right after this she'd go back to her computer and write it down anyway.

With a sigh she leaned against the wall, holding her head in her hand, "I'm not trying to be a hard ass, Erena, I'm really not." She admitted, looking at her with pleading eyes, "But this was a realy important event and not only did you come late but you made sure everyone knew how late you were. The party is halfway over, you missed half of it!"

Noelle's eyes darted back and forth between those engaged in the conversation - Erena and Setsuna. They were bouncing off of each other about Erena being late. Though in honesty, Noelle was just mostly concerned about Erena taking some of her snacks. But she was a good friend of hers, so she was willing to share. As the girls were talking amongst themselves, Noelle stared intensely at the desserts on the table. She was making mental notes about which ones she wanted to keep, and which ones she was willing to give up. She ended up picking up an eclair and putting it in a napkin to give to Erena.

As she looked up, it appeared to be that they were going to take their conversation elsewhere. Noelle tucked the wrapping tight so that it would be kept safe for Erena until she came back. The snack table was back to being quiet, letting Noelle relax and keep her focus on the cakes. Suddenly, she realized she forgot to ask Setsuna about the tea pots but she was already gone. Noelle could feel an imaginary cloud about her head, raining on her. She would just have to wait for them to come back to ask.

KYOUYA OOTORI
kyouya talk book.gif
Kyouya checked the time once again and groaned. He really didn't have time for this. Last call for photos would be coming up soon and most of the hosts were busy dancing. He needed to make sure all paying customers were able to get the pictures they wanted. "Listen, Sebastian. There are some spare clothes in the changing room. Go change quickly. You've missed most of your appointments so make up for it by dancing with the guests." He adjusted his glasses, a dark sheen appearing over the lenses. "Don't make them wait any longer." They would have to finish their conversation at a later time. Or, if his timeliness improved, further discussion would be unnecessary.

As he was turning away, Kyouya noticed Setsuna was dealing with a late club member of her own. He intended to wait for her, as he had agreed to dance with her, when a hesitant young woman approached him. A small group of girls stood nearby supporting their friend. Kyouya immediately recognized the girl as a first year student and also the daughter of a family that the Ootori Group had recently begun working with. He cursed silently as he smiled and offered her a small bow when she reached him.

"Ah, Ootori-san, I was, ah, wondering..." She paused, glancing at her friends. "Well, I was hoping you might have time for a dance...?" The girl looked so nervous and so hopeful. If it was a different guest, Kyouya wouldn't have thought twice about gracefully declining. He didn't typically have one-on-ones with guests during big events as he had a lot of other things to do. But in her case specifically...

Kyouya extended his hand to her. "Of course. Shall we?" The group of friends squealed with delight as Kyouya led the girl to the area that had become the dance floor.

Setsuna hated being the hardass, it was probably her least favorite part of the job she held in the host club. Yes it meant that she didn't have to do too many actual dates, but it also meant she had to be the one to reprimand the other hosts. It wasn't like Erena didn't deserve it, because she absolutely did, however it still didn't make Setsuna feel good to yell at her... What made her feel worse though was when her eyes caught Kyouya talking to another girl and eventually escorting her out. Was he going to dance with her? They had barely gotten a chance to-

She stopped her thoughts. What did she think? Just because he got that guy away and agreed to dance with her he returned her feelings? With a sigh she looked up to Erena, a small, yet sad smile on her lips.

"Just don't announce when you're late at least, okay?" Setsuna pleaded, "I'm starting to get a headache.... I need to go sit down."

It was only partially a lie considering her head was throbbing from the back and forth in emotions it had to do, but the sitting down part was just because she needed a second to herself that didn't involve telling a hostess everything they ever did wrong.

"Just go out and enjoy yourself."

Sebastian Hart
After the talk with Kyouya, he sighed and went into the other room, where he found a dark blue suit and black tie. He grabbed it and rushed to change. Quickly fixing his messed-up hair and taking a deep breath. "Don't mess this up" he said to himself in the mirror. He straightened his suit again and walked out into the party. He looked out across the sea of people and gulped nervously. Maybe he'd have time to look for Honey-senpai.

He passed a group of girls and smiled nervously at them. They called him over and he nervously tried to keep a conversation with them, stumbling over his words and sentences. He scratched the back of his head nervously and chuckled. "I apologize for getting here late, I had a hold-up at home." he said glancing at his shoes. The girls laughed and talked to him attentively.

KYOUYA OOTORI
kyouya talk room.gif
Kyouya twirled the younger girl round the dance floor. He really was quite an excellent dancer, but that was an expectation for a child of a family such as the Ootori family. The song seemed to last forever as he forced himself to gaze warmly at the girl in his arms. Just because he knew how to dance, and because he knew how to charm, didn't mean that he was at all interested in doing it. Normally it wasn't much of a chore but he had other responsibilities to attend to. The event was past the half was mark meaning it would be winding down. The final dance would have to be announced and Kyouya would have to make sure each host spent their final dance with the correct, high paying guest.

When the song finally ended, Kyouya was relieved, eager to get back to work. Unfortunately he wouldn't have time now to dance with Setsuna which certainly could have been interesting. He bowed to the guest before him with a slight smile. "You are quite the wonderful dancer. I look forward to seeing you again at your family's gala next week."

"O-of course, Ootori-kun!" The girl was incredibly excited and incredibly flustered as she hurried back to her friends. The small group again erupted into squeals as Kyouya walked away.

Kyouya noted that Sebastian was in full host mode now which he was glad for. No extra drama. He looked for Setsuna, and upon seeing her, returned to her side. "I apologize for the disruption. I assume all is well with your late attendee as well?"
