I was thinking of hosting my own little group for a rp concerning a oc I have!

He’s a dollmaker and it’s supposed to be a mystery surrounding him and people going missing in the town they’re all residing in would any of ya be interested?

I have my hands full at the moment. I couldn't possibly join any more.

Yeah sorry it's taking me a while to get my character sorted and everything, work's always busy at the end of the month.

Working on the character right now though lol, hence the quick reply. I'll hopefully get her all done in the next 24 hours and then do a post at least by the end of the week

It's not unreasonable to believe guns exist. The use of them would change slightly, however.

1. Customization for Mutant Threats: Firearms may be customized or designed specifically to combat mutated creatures and other aberrations that roam the wastelands. This could include specialized ammunition types, such as armor-piercing rounds or toxin-infused bullets, capable of neutralizing the unique defenses of mutant adversaries.

2. Reliability and Durability: Given the harsh conditions of the post-apocalyptic world, firearms would need to be highly reliable and durable to withstand the rigors of constant use and exposure to the elements. Manufacturers may prioritize materials and designs that enhance durability and minimize maintenance requirements, ensuring that guns remain functional even in the most adverse circumstances.

Scarcity of Ammunition: With resources scarce and ammunition in short supply, firearms users would likely adopt more conservative shooting practices and rely on precision and accuracy rather than spray-and-pray tactics. Conservation of ammunition would be paramount, with scavenging and bartering for bullets becoming common practices among survivors.

Innovations in Weapon Technology: In the absence of centralized manufacturing facilities and technological infrastructure, survivors may resort to innovative improvisation and repurposing of existing materials to create makeshift firearms and weapons.
