Realistic or Modern Highschool Is Cruel

((Small towns usually are.))

After church, Elroy had gone home and changed immediately into jeans and a light olive-green cut-off shirt. Throwing on his dirty, torn-up boots, he walked out to his brother's truck.

Elroy's brother's truck slowly crawled through the woods behind the farm. Portions of old barbwire fencing puttered about here and there, and there was even a slight mist of fog due to the humidity and dew the forest seemed to absorb from the nearby creeks. The truck rolled over the bumpy terrain, the tires crushing sticks and rocks into the mud. Following the path in the woods that led from the back-end area of his home through the woods, he finally came to a small opening. Elroy shut off the truck and hopped out, walking further into the woods. Recounting his steps from the numerous trips before, Elroy came upon the treasure cove he was after; his moonshine still. Elroy walked up to the still, checking the glass bottle that he had placed under the copper wire exit about two days previous. As predicted, he had used just enough concoction to fill the bottle almost to the brim. He removed the drip wire and capped the jar, carrying it to the truck. He slid the jar into the passenger side of the truck, before slamming it shut. Climbing into the front seat, he backed out of the opening and into a large space between two trees. Swapping directions, he headed back out of the woods towards the farm.

After arriving back home from the forest, he escorted the moonshine jar to the basement of the house. Elroy walked outside and grabbed some old wood pieces and scrap, piling them up into a huge pit-fire. Stacking them neatly together, the wood soon towered upwards, which would make for a great bonfire. Elroy walked back down to the basement, and then into a locked store-room, using his key to get it open. The smell of drugs and musk immediately filled his nostrils. Walking along the shelves of the storeroom, he routed through them until he found what he was looking for. Grasping a small packet of white crystal material, he pocketed it and walked back upstairs, locking the store room as he exited. Elroy then walked outside and towards the barn with the intent to finish his chores before the party.

Celia seemed content as she went through her closet in her room. What did someone wear to a party? She didn't know and her mom's basic idea was obviously outdated. Truth be told, she wasn't sure if she really wanted to go. A party meant people. People meant talking. In her experience, talking led to... complications... Elroy seemed a bit different, but she also knew that first impressions could be deceiving. Then, other thoughts came to her. What should she do with her hair? What about makeup? She didn't wear makeup often, but do normal people wear makeup to a party? Celia sat down heavily on her bed and buried her face in her hands. Most likely, she was making a bigger deal about it than it actually was.

With a deep breath, she stood up and went through her closet one more time. She put the clothes she picked out on the bed and put them in order. "P-perfect..." she whispered before folding them into a neat pile. "M-mom, I-I'm g-going o-out t-tonight!"

Her mom peered into her room, "Really? Well, have fun, Celia. Call me to pick you up if you get drunk or high or if you'll be out past two."

Celia blinked at her mom before realization dawned on her. "M-mom!"

Pippa gave her daughter a devilish smile as she walked away. The sixteen year old shook her head; sometimes, she worried about how loose her mother was. Most parents would tell their daughter what time to be home, what not to do, and who not to talk to. Not Pippa Merlouke. Celia grabbed a towel and made her way to the bathroom. Tonight might just work out.

"A-are you new?" said a voice, and Sean turned to see a boy he figured was from his school. He figured the question was for him, but he wasn't completely sure. He hesitated.

"Me?" he asked finally, pointing to himself, silently asking for confirmation. "Yeah..." The thought didn't cross his mind to introduce himself at first, but suddenly his wits came back to him and he shook himself mentally. "I'm Sean." He paused, not sure whether to ask this guy's name or not. It might make it awkward, so he waited patiently for a response.

Jamie smiles and winks at her."nice outfit."He said and kissed her. He gently looked over her arm."you will be okay doll."He said. He pulled her close "let's go." He said. He looked over seeing Eva. Her eye's seemed cold to even him.He moved Hudson behind him as he walked over. "Eva and Jasmine will meet up later okay ." He says to them. He saw his sister watched him walk away and saw her say something.

Eva looked where Billie had pointed her eye's gone cold. She watched her brother. She watched him walk over and say he meet up with them later. Eva watched him walk away. "Unbelievable."She said and glares after them.

Hudson watched Jamie talk to his sister and frowned. The girl was glaring at him. While Jamie was over there, she walked over to her scooter and grabbed the helmet. She glanced at him to see him coming back and frowned slightly, "she doesn't like this..." she stated.

Billie saw the glare Eva was sending to her sister, "uhm... I know this sounds bad, but why are you glaring at her for no reason? I mean, my sister that is..." Billie said defensively and frowned a little.

Eva turned her cold eye's on Billie."this has nothing to do with you or your family. Jasmine, Lacey come.we have work to do."Eva said and turned for the car on her heals. She walked away with a look of distane at her brother. Jasmine looked at Billie."sorry, she has been in a bad mood as of late, something is bugging her and I am not sure." She said and smiles slightly as an apology and runs after her sister.

Jamie shook his head."no but it isn't about us now come. I think a walk be better then a scooter. Dont you? "he asked."I don't care what they think."He said and held out a hand to her.

Hudson frowned slightly, not believing the story slightly. "Okay..." she said quietly and returned the keys in her purse. She took Jamies hand and laced her fingers through his, "buf as soon as she saw me she glared..." she looked up at him. the fact that his sister didnt like them together bothered her. And how she flipped at Billie. Hudson wanted to punch Eva, Billie put up with enough of that at school, Sundays were Billies non bully days. Hudson kept the frown on her lips

Jamie. "Don't worry my dear. Please I can handle my sister. She is of dark heart and mind. A lot has happened in our family. She feels as if I am betraying her.as my twon we have a special bond and I fear I broke a bit of that with you. We haven't talked in days."Jamie says walking with her.

"I'm so sorry." She looked up at him, "but I fear its the same thing with Billie, she's my twin, we were really tight since my mothers death, but I guess the space is good, we can't rely on the world outside of thus town..." she rambled as they walked

He smiled at her and kissed her. Jamie pulled her close and kept walking. "Don't worry about it alright. I won't let anything hurt you again." He says and keeps her in his arms. Jamie walked to an empty spot of the park and pulled her in kissing her. He lifted her chin as his mouth moved urgently against hers. He had gently pushed her back into a tree. He wanted to show her it was okay. He wasn't going anywhere.

She felt his urgent kisses and she immediately responded. She set one hand on the tree and snaked an arm around his neck, standing on her toes to meet his height. The thoughts of his sister hating her vanishing. She just hsd had to think of that moment, and how it felt right. After a while she pulled away looking up at him, "Jamie... I'm sure we're making the people of the public uncomfortable. " she giggled slightly, looking into his eyes.

Jamie looked her over and smiled. "I promise no one is watching us my love. But if you want we could go to my bedroom or yours. "He said he pulled her to him tightly, he was gentle but firm.He kissed along her neck and sighed his eye's sparkled and winked at her.

Hudson sighed, "your place is a better of an option than mine. Daddy would shoot you. Id rather have my hair pulled by your sister than Have you get shot." She joked. "Better hurry and get to your place, Mr. Badas$" she smirked running her hands up his arms.

Jamie smirked and picked her up."let's go princess. Wouldn't want to be shot by your father now would I pumpkin."He walked her to his house and climbed up the back way. He turned and put a ladder down for her.He pulled her up and into his embrace.

Hudson giggled "thank you." She pressed a kiss to his lips and smirked. "Is this how you sneak in and out?" She glanced at the window then back at him smiling. "Dad is a light sleeper, so id never be able to escape." She pressed another kiss.
